I am a very long time, exclusive customer. They used to be the best game in town, but it seems like they have become too big for their britches. They don't value customer loyalty. For instance, instead of letting me to know that I can come back in 30 minutes, they trapped me at a pedicure bowl for 45 minutes soaking with no service, immediately after this way-too-long soak I developed an under toenail infection from the disgustingly long soak and use unsanitary tools due to their reckless hurrying. (I can wash my hands for Covid, but you can't clean your tools for my health??) I have come back multiple times to give them the benefit of the doubt since I have been going there for so long. However, each time I have come back since my "experience" they are "too busy" to serve me, no matter what time of day I come. This place is way too expensive to endure such awful customer service, the employees tend to be snotty, demeaning, and make fun of you to your face, and the owners/managers will actually yell at you if you complain. Enough is enough, I'm sick of PAYING to be ABUSED. I will NEVER go back to Magic Nails ever again. read more

It's a pretty salon but it's perhaps gotten too big. Service has declined and it was so jam pack with people it wasn't relaxing. I made an appointment on a week day late afternoon. I was ushered to a chair where I sat for 30 minutes with my feet in what quickly became cold water. Finally a grumpy tech arrived. Barely spoke to me. I saw her add nail polish remover to the nail polish jar. I quickly said that I would just pick a different color if that jar was too thick and old. She rudely said " No.... it's fine." She rushed through the manicure and spent little time on my cuticles which were in need of TLC after gardening. Fast forward two days and my manicure was chipping off almost every nail. I ended up taking off the polish and reading the manicure myself. Too bad I used to enjoy my time at this salon. read more

Came here on a whim after work and truthfully it was the highlight of my week! Dragged a friend from work in to get mani/pedi done and they literally had us both in massage chairs getting pedis done and did nails chair side- and without appointments! Talk about full service! They did a lovely job on my pedicure, but apparently, along the way, I asked for a no chip pedicure. What? When I inquired, both the lady that did my nails and the lady at the counter just kept saying I must have asked, and they were sorry. All they said was sorry and explained what a no chip was. I'm well aware of what they are as I get them on my fingernails, NOT my toes. I was prepared to pay $50 for the pedicure, not $70 plus tip. I'm torn because they did a good job. The place is clean. I've been coming here for many years. I'm not sure what has happened with this place, but the staff here has been so rude the last few times I've come here. I was here last week and brought my daughter and granddaughter. They charged me $40.00 for a 5 yr old's mani/pedi. They never massaged her and we paid for the same treatment as the adults. They have gotten so rude and disrespectful to the customers. Sorry to say, I will not be coming Back to magic! I will find a better place that won't talk crap in Vietnamese in front of you because you didn't upgrade to the better package! Not only crazy expensive now they charge you for filing your nails coffin shape completely ridiculous. I understand charging extra for French manicures and then on top of it they charge you 2 1/2% for using a credit card.!! but the worst part of it is, I did not see them changing any of the pedicure bowls plastic out. It's supposed to be changed after every client. I saw two bowls that were not changed that's freaking DISGUSTING!!! I hope no one gets any foot disease or infection. read more

Nail techs were nice but the front desk receptionist, Lena(spelling?), was very very rude. Eye contact was minimal until she rolled her eyes after i asked if she could fix my nail as my nails tech was busy with another client. She would walk away after each coat and not say a thing. I didn't know when she was done until someone else told me I was done. Even after she fixed my nail I said thank you and she turned her head and continued to ignore me. Very very rude. I will say, I've never really been happy with the quality of the manicure I've gotten in all the visits I've made here. I've gone here twice and each time my acrylics came out crooked. The first time they were crooked and I couldn't get into the salon for a week since I got them done and they fought me on getting them redone "Why did you wait a week" well I have a job...so... "Next time correct the person when you see them do it crooked" Honestly I wasn't paying attention because me and the nail tech were talking and I trusted her capability so. Then I came in yesterday and the guy not only cut my acrylics different lengths (my thumbs are different lengths and thickness), my nails are all too thick and gloopy, and two are crooked. I didn't even say anything I just wasted my $60 and left it. I didn't feel like getting into another argument because THEY messed up. UPDATE: I went in, because I was mad that I wasted $60, they tried telling me my crooked nails weren't crooked and when I explained I wanted a whole new set because they looked mediocre they used the SAME guy who messed up to fix it and he did a subpar job at fixing it and ended up messing up different aspects as well. One week post no chip manicure and nails are chipping. Usually when I get my nails done for the first time in a while my no chip lasts up to 3 weeks. I've been to other magic nails in the area but I won't be back to this location. Also disappointed with my cuticles not being cleaned more, polish wasn't covering my whole nail and nailbed wasn't pushed down all the way so grow out was much faster than normal. I came in to see Megan after I had a bad experience with dip powder at the previous salon I went to. She did an absolute wonderful job, and she really took the time to make sure I liked how my nails looked while she was working on them. The whole experience was relaxing with a back massage, hot towel, and a hand massage. It's hard to find a nail technician you can trust and have full confidence in so I would definitely recommend Megan to any of my peers. Everyone I have seen at this location have taken the time to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my experience. Side note: I overhead the woman at the front desk giving advice to most of the customers that came in about which services would be better for them, and their nails in the long term. I really appreciated that because it was very genuine, and it shows that the customers matter. I went here to get my nails done for NYE. First off, it's a spacious and clean salon. There were plenty of chairs (I think almost 20) for nails and also about a dozen chairs for pedicures. I picked this place because they do the powdered gel manicures. I went in without an appointment and the lady at the front was super polite and checked me in right away. I'm glad I didn't have to wait! My nail tech was also really nice and showed me lots of colors to choose from. I chose a nice gray shade and she even suggested an accent glitter on my ring fingers. I thought it was a great idea. While she shaped and dipped my nails, we had small talk and it didn't feel forced or boring which I love. Then as my nails were drying, I got a light shoulder massage.
