I really wanted to like this place. It's clean, it's smaller than Magic Nails, the staff was nice, lots of colors. But the female owner is the RUDEST and most DISMISSIVE person. Three times I made appointments to have my mani and pedi done at the same time as I'm typically time constraint. They booked the appointment as such never stating there were any issues. But all THREE times they failed to keep their commitment. The first time I did not say anything, but the second time I did and the owner stated it was my fault because I changed my appointment time, to which I responded yes, correct, but you never said there was an issue accommodating, you should have let me know upfront because now you put me in time bind. She could care less and just gave me a dirty look and dismissed me. The last time I was there the same thing happened and when I mentioned it she scoffed at me, it's the holiday, we're too busy. I told her this was unacceptable, this was the third time they did this, and again they should have been forthcoming if they could not accommodate. All she said in return was, do you want your nails done or not and gritted her teeth at me. She could care less about her customers or their time, or the commitment 970 makes when booking. All she cares about is 970's time and money, not much of a way to run a customer service business. I will not be back due to the female owner's complete lack of professionalism and courtesy which really is too bad because the girls working for her are great. read more

I was promptly greeted and told to pick out color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do have a large selection of colors. First technician assigned to me was great. She was really good at the leg massage and scrub. However, then I was assigned someone else to finish my services. (Apparently she had an appointment). My nail painting for pedicure felt a little rough. Next, for my no chip manicure they didn't soak off previous polish that long. It was a little painful to remove. My nail polish started chipping on day 6. I would return for a pedicure. However, manicure was a little rough for me. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 2:30 on a Thursday. It was busy! I haven't gotten my nails done since having a baby, and wanted them to look good for his first birthday celebration. Not that it should matter but for some reason, 3 other nails salons looked like they had no idea what I was talking about when I said I wanted to remove my acrylic. I got a basic manicure and pedicure from Mia. She was very gentle and flawless in her application. I walked right in. Space and utensils were all very clean. I'll definitely come back. I like how it had a calm vibe. They weren't trying to jam a million chairs in a small space. You can park right by the door. Highly recommend. read more

This is HANDS DOWN the best manicure I have ever gotten all thanks to Kris! She is absolutely incredible, I got a fill-in on my acrylics that I had gotten done somewhere else and told her how much I did not like the look of them - they were very thick and lumpy. Kris listened to what I did not like about my nails prior and took that and tan with it. These nails look like my own, natural nails. They are not at all thick, the polish is so precisely neat and clean, no lumps at all! Smoothest set of acrylics ever! She also entertained my idea of some crazy, fun designs (I showed her pictures of my ideas) and she was confident and ready to do any design I had in mind - ill be back for that appointment with her in a few weeks - really looking forward to it! I absolutely LOVE this nail salon! Nothing compares to the quality and service you'll receive at 970 Nail Spa. I am pretty picky/particular about my nails. I get them done religiously every 2 to 3 weeks and have for many years. I don't have a single complaint about this salon. They are fantastic! They have the nicest owner and staff - the atmosphere is quiet, very clean and relaxing. Leo is always friendly to every customer and they are always on time for appointments, which is unheard of in most nail salons. I've been going to Crystal for over a year and she is amazing! Honestly my nails have never looked better in my life. I didn't even know my nails can look like this! I've come to see Mia for a couple of pedicures and no-chip manis and she is the most gentle, friendly, and thorough nail artist I've ever had. My nails have lasted longer than two weeks and looked amazing the whole time. I do feel like this place might be a little more expensive then others I've been to around here (just moved from the city), but it's also the cleanest and nicest of all the salons I've been to. I've visited this salon about 5 times since they've opened for pedicures. Each time I've gone the service is good. I would consider this salon "high end". They've provided me with a bottle of water each service. I get the standard pedicure, however they have all kinds of options that range in price. Note: they charge additional for French tips. This last visit I requested a french pedicure however I wanted a nude/natural base underneath. I think the woman who did my pedicure this time didn't know how to do it with regular polish. She told me I had to get no chip in order for her to do it. Which didn't make since since I've had it here before without no chip. My normal girl wasn't there today. Nonetheless, she was able to make it work with regular polish after some "problem solving "and they turned out great. I will continue to go here unless the prices increase. read more

only giving one star because there is no way to give zero! went to this salon yesterday for a pedicure. Technician (Crystal) was very nice but she was far too aggressive when doing callus removal. She cut my foot so deeply it is still bleeding today. I was offered an antiseptic and a bandaid. I was charged full price for my service even though I was leaving a trail of blood behind when I left. Just to add more aggravation to my experience she must have had nail polish on her glove when she pulled my pant leg down. I didn't notice this till I got home. Ruined and expensive pair of slacks. I have been to different nail salons but this tops the cake with a cherry on top. Not the normal walk in and ok front desk person .... I walked in very polite people greet you and got me started on the pedicure which was awesome and the best I have ever had. To then doing my gel fill in and once again really nice and awesome job. Another lady by accident bump her nail they were on it for her and fixed it right away no bad talking in a different language. Super super wonderful experience.
