I've been going to Magic Tailor for years now and I've always been happy with the fit of all my clothes. The owner has a great eye for fitting clothes to your frame and does the work in a timely manner. My only complaint is that the hours are a little funky as the owner is gone two hours in the afternoon... so always check the hours of operation before heading over. read more

I have always gone to this tailor shop. I love that they are family owned and always flexible and the prices are reasonable. Due to Covid-19, my big wedding was postponed and I had to plan a small backyard wedding in 2 weeks. I immediately bought a new (more casual) wedding dress. I received my dress online approximately five days before my wedding, I was freaking out because the dress was almost 8 inches too long. I called around to multiple places, but magic tailor let me set an appointment 3 days before my wedding and finished my alterations the SAME DAY. If that's not dedication I don't know what is. I brought in a photo of a crop top blouse and midi skirt ensemble that I wanted to get made out of traditional saree material and although she was hesitant (and on a really quick time crunch), she was able to make my outfit within a week! This place helped us pull off a Hail Mary for our daughters wedding! We had a giant bolt of fabric that needed cutting down to various challenging sizes for last minute decor. They cut us 39 ft panels for table runners and had all of it turned around in two days. We were so relieved I almost cried. We couldn't pull this off without them being willing to take the last minute job. And they were more than fair with the price. They were courteous and provided excellent service. read more

I usually never go get my clothes altered because I'm always worried it won't turn out right but I was in need of one when I needed my wedding dress fitted. This family owned business is absolutely wonderful. They catered to every picky detail I requested without any hesitation. Not only did they perfectly fit my dress, they managed to create a veil for me from my dress leaving my actual dress in tact. I am highly impressed with their workmanship and friendliness. Dropped off my very expensive jeans to be hemmed in May. Came back to pick up the jeans a few days later to find a sign saying they would be closed for the next 4 weeks. I've been checking the store daily since the 24th to see if they had returned, but they remain closed. I don't understand why the owner of the store could not extend the professional courtesy of either declining my business at the time or calling me after knowing they would be leaving. It has been extremely frustrating to say the least, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Magic Tailor is awesome! The owner and staff and staff are friendly, courteous and provide excellent customer service. Pricing, turn-around time and quality of work is remarkable. It's not often that you find such great customer service and focus on service now-a-days or all in one place. Since Magic Tailor opened, I have continually taken my clothes (dresses, pants, jeans, skirts, etc.) to get altered and will continue to do so. WARNING! I used them to hem my bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding (My Best friend's wedding). They lost the belt to the dress, and broke the zipper. The lost belt was the first sign that I had chosen the wrong place. When I tried the dress on, the lady took forever in zipping the dress and even grabbed additional pins. I didn't think anything of it, just assumed she was using the pins to bring the dress together so that she could zip it. However, the day of the wedding I soon found out this was not the case. The tack at the top of the dress was missing and the zipper was completely broken. I had to be sewn into my dress. Mistakes happen and I understand that, but the lady knew that the zipper was broken and didn't say anything. It was something that could have been easily resolved. When I took the dress back after the wedding to have to allow them to make it right, although I would never be able to wear the dress again, they refused to take any responsibility. Claiming that there was not a belt attached to the dress, even after I showed them the tag still attached to the dress when I picked it up. He also claimed that they did not touch the zipper. The dress was brand new, I had only taken it out of the plastic once prior to bringing it to their store and the zipper worked perfectly and was attached properly. I spent 20 minutes arguing with the man at this establishment and still there was no offer to at least fix the zipper or make a belt, which seems to me the very least that can be done outside of offering me a partial or full refund. I took 2 brand new suits and one pair of pants to Magic Tailor alteration prior to my unscheduled last minute trip. My Frisco alteration was not able to provide the service in short period of time. I browsed the Yelp and found the Magic Tailor alteration right next to my work. Unfortunately, I had a really terrible experience with them. 1 suit and 2 pair of pants were done "ok" but the pants from 2nd suit was totally messed up: the inside of the seam was sewn onto the front and the outer seam was sewn onto the back, the pants looked twisted and completely unaligned. After unpleasant conversation with owners, without any apologies they agreed to correct the issue and asked to stop by the next day, the day before I was supposed to leave for my business trip. When I saw the pants again, they looked nothing like I brought in the beginning, the needle holes where stretched and partially ripped as if they were pulling the seams apart. I was very disappointed and upset having to leave the suit for the third correction again. The owner said if they won't be able to fix the suit, they would buy a new one from the store I bought so I gave the store's ph#. After my trip, I came back to pick up my suit but the poor pair of pants were still not fixed. The owner was impolite saying that pants are indeed correctly done so I need to pick up my suit as is and pay him right away.... I didn't want to take the suit as is and asked him to pay me $200.00 for the $399.00 suit but he refused to do so offering $100 if I leave my suit to Magic Tailor. I didn't have time to mess with unprofessional people and their awful service finally accepting the offer and left my suit with them without paying for any services they've done for me. Please stay away from these people and don't repeat mistake I've done... they are indeed Magicians with a capital "M". read more
