Trevor made several trips, and for (I think around $300.00) the washer was back up and running. Took less than a week for a new computer board but everything was explained to me well. I had surgery & couldn't lift more than 5# so I couldn't actually use the vacuum untill day 11 after purchase. Well, when I finally got to use it, I loved the vacuum itself but it was a lot heavier than I expected when it came to going up and down the stairs with it. It was also very bulky when it came to vacuuming around furniture, cat beds, etc in my townhome. I looked at the receipt to check the return policy and it's only 7 days for a full money return!!! OMG!! The sales person (owner? not sure) was pleasant & easy to work with during purchase (but who wouldn't be when you are about to sell one of the most expensive vacuums in your store). She did not verbally tell me about this 7 day return policy before purchase - that's bad customer service especially when she knew that I had surgery & couldn't lift the whole vacuum (I drove my car to the front door & she lifted the box into my car). I called today to clarify if my eyes were reading it correctly & she confirmed the 7 day policy & said very sarcastically, "well, that's why we have carpet so you can try it out in the store." Um, all I could do was move the handle part back & forth on the carpet to get a feel for the ease of moving it back & forth - she doesn't have a 2nd floor to carry the canister up & down (not that I could have done it that day anyway). Be a better business owner and either (1) make a more reasonable return policy or (2) ensure that you are 1000% transparent about the crappy return policy. Full disclosure - there is a 30 day return for "store credit" - however, this is a specialty vacuum store with very limited choices that are going to have similar heavier features as the one I bought.

An hour later they called back and said we can come in an hour. WooHoo! Dave arrived on time and with several alerts both from the company and from Dave that he was on his way. Alas, the fridge needed a part that had to be ordered and it would be Wednesday between 12:30-5:00 before they'd have it and could get back. Dave arrived on Wednesday at noon (with alerts beforehand, as before). Was not cheap, but was entirely reasonable and way less than a new fridge. So again, highly recommended!

Only problem I have with them is that most companies I've worked with will apply the service call fee (~$125 in this case) towards the actual repair if a repair is needed, and Register Appliance does not. Generally, the service call fee is to cover the cost of sending a service tech out when no actual service is needed--and maybe covering a very, very simple fix (like tightening a loose hose or something). In this company's case, this is not true. To be clear, I was informed of this when I booked them, so this was NOT a surprise, but I was also in a bit of a tough spot, as my mother needed a working dryer immediately.

Our house is 40 years old. We never had the heating ducts cleaned and earlier this year I did a…read moreconstruction project in my basement that included drywall and drywall dust. I figured it was time. I spoke to Rick Drexler on the phone and he explained the whole process, and we scheduled a date a few weeks out to have them come and clean the ducts. The three man crew showed up at 9 AM and were very courteous - they all introduced themselves by name which is nice if you're going to have a crew in your house for 3 to 4 hours. Emilio was the foreman, but they were all nice and helpful explaining what they were doing as they go through your whole house. We all did a walk-through of the house from the second floor down to the basement. Counted all the ducts -intake and outtake. Then they brought in the equipment, a big vacuum that goes down in the basement that sucks up all the dust and debris. They make a few holes in your heat runs and cold air intake runs in the basement. That's where they insert their vacuum. They seal up these holes afterwards. They basically put a blue sticky film over all of the ducts in the house and then blow down from the second floor everything down to the basement. Then they use the vacuum in the basement to clean everything out your main runs. While they were here, I asked if they could also clean my dryer vent duct. They did and you'll see the results of that too. The pictures I've attached were some that I took and a couple that they took to show the before and after of the duct work. They sprayed a "fogger" spray in each vent to help prevent dust and bad stuff from accumulating for a few years. All told - it took three hours from start to finish and we are very pleased with the outcome. As I said it's been 40 years for this house so it was way overdue! They also do other services such as mold remediation, carpet or tile grout cleaning, and remediating water damage. They did a great job and I would highly recommend Jet Dry to do work in your home!

The staff wasn't just sitting down behind a counter, she was wiping down machines, sweeping floors and assisting customers non stop. They offer like 3 sizes of washers and dryers. Also, you use your payment (cash,card) to load a "laundry card". Each machine accepts only this kind of card. The process is simple and makes the old "counting quarters" obsolete.
