Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know I went to Magic Wok in the neighborhood and was treated so bad I'll never go back again. The waiter was cordial, but after I placed my order - it came out in less than 5 minutes. Although the restaurant was empty she never came back to check on me so I went to the front to tell her that my meat was cold and that it had been dipped in a sweet sauce that was "hot" and she became upset at me for notifying her of this and immediately said "I get no discount" and I was in shock.... I've been here before during the daytime and had decent food but this time my experience was absolutely terrible and not a soul was in the restaurant except me. I'm not sure what's going on there but please beware if you want to get a quick bite to eat!!! I paid full price for my food and left immediately. Worst experience ever ! *Update* I started to feel sick after eating a few bites of the food so I plan to report them to the health department.

When my family and I crave Salt & Pepper Pork Chops and BBQ Pork Fried Rice, we place an order to go at Magic Wok as we're usually running from one place to another. Today we ate inside at the restaurant. The owner recognized me and was surprised to see the family sit down and eat instead of getting the food to go. Family owned restaurant, food was delicious and we immediately feel right at home. Both the BBQ Pork and Chicken Fried Rice was a hit that we placed two more orders to go!

I didn't expect TOO much from this place based off of its location. Also, just so y'all know, it's pretty expensive as well. I think it's expensive because of how big the portions are; I believe that make the quantity that size to share; not for individuals. Unless you got a big appetite Anyways, the food was BUSSIN‍ the sesame chicken was my favorite. They brought it out within 10-15 minutes. The service was great, they exceeded my expectations on the food, but just be prepared to spent a hefty chunk of Mula baabbyyy Unless this is normal pricing, cuz ya boii originally from down south in Utah

NOT OKAY- I went to dinner solo and ordered a combo meal. Everything was fine until I bit into the General Tso chicken. The inside was old, hard and dried up chicken. I called the owner over to take a look. She said people like it like that. She did not take anything off my meal nor did she refund me. I will post the pictures of it after I remove the breading. It looks like jerky. Poor service and poor food. General Tso 's Chicken

ordered a lot for takeout to bring to my parents. Mongolian beef, Honey Walnut shrimp, house fried Rice, house chow mein and General Taos chicken! Everything was good! Enjoyed the beef the most and my parents loved the shrimp! The staff was really kind and took their time helping me pick the best choices . The food came out fast too!

HUGE amount of Shrimp Fried Rice you get for $10.45!

Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

I'm one picky 70yr. old who knows fresh dim sum from frozen. Since moving to Tacoma area from King County, I missed my dim sum from international district aka Chinatown. Harbor city brought back the flavor & I'm so thankful. Most of the places that served some dim sum out this way, you can tell were frozen and low quality. As for the Ambiance... well I have to admit, they do deserve a much better place. When looking on the outside, it's hard to imagine how good their food is. Yet again, I always told my children and grandchildren ... it's always the small & hole in the wall places that can be the best to eat at.

The food is still top notch and the service is speedy. But the restaurant is now very warm. The floors are really slippery so be careful, but it's a nice fast paced Chinese restaurant you can get dim sum instead of the normal yum cha times of seattle Chinatown. If you want really good Chinese food at breakneck speeds, want to feel like you're at your Chinese ma's house as she's yelling at the kids in the background, this is it! We even had a loud Chinese conversation that I had to tell my husband "shes not angry, just very busy and trying to get orders out". The only annoying thing is their uber eats notification is consistently on fire. Dinged enough to notice it through the entire meal.

Tonight, it was my turn to "cook" for the family and I wanted something a step above fast food and the usual sandwich shops/chipotle/ezells/tacos/pollo loco/chicfilet/dicks/BWW just didn't catch my interest. A quick ChatGPT search recommended teriyaki and that actually sounded good. Turned to yelp for some good options as I was heading home and boom! International teriyaki house was the winner, especially since it was on my way home. It's a no frills, hole in the wall restaurant behind that old jack in the box that's been under construction for years. I ordered 2 spicy chicken and regular chicken. Total damage was $49 after tax and excluding tip, which is about $16 per order. It is a bit pricier than what I expected but I will say that was some of the best spicy chicken teriyaki I have EVER had. The regular chicken teriyaki was decent and the rice and side salad and dressing were average of course. I will definitely return for some more of that spicy chicken and maybe I'll try the beef teriyaki next time as well and see if they have any special sauce too
