I'm so exceptionally disappointed with my food. I order beef brisket pho and chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki literally came with Rice, salad and chicken. No sauce on the chicken. A half condiment cup of chili sauce and a half condiment cup of dressing. I try the chicken anyway bc I'm starving and it is not only dry but has a strong tangy taste to it! Like it's sour or spoiled!! So immediately that's a no! I go try the salad and under the carrots is wilted lettuce with some pieces having brown spots! Rice is literally the only edible thing! I've given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately it's just not worth it. The pho isn't the worst I've had, but it's far from great and especially considering how overpriced it is. I finally got around to trying this place, and I wish it was better. I stopped by on a Thursday evening around dinner time. I was pleasantly surprised because it doesn't look much from the outside, but it's a very large and spacious restaurant with clean, modern decor. I guess I should have taken it as a red flag that there was only 1 couple dining in for dinner. Anyhow, I decided to order the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio for take-out because I was on the way home from Hong Kong Market. I paid a little over $16 for my order and it was kind of painful to pay that much for a bowl of vermicelli. I honestly don't recall ever paying that much at any other restaurant, and judging from the rest of their menu items, their prices are high compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. In terms of the actual dish, it was just so-so. The lemongrass grilled pork was marinated well and was the highlight of the dish. However, the other components of the dish fell short. The egg roll was slightly crispy on the outside, but the inside was soggy and chewy, as if the egg roll wrapper on the very inside was undercooked. The egg roll filling ratio was also off because it was nearly 90% carrots and was not balanced with meat and vermicelli like I expected. It cost nearly a dollar more to upgrade the Bun Thit Nuong to include just ONE egg roll. Most places usually give you 2 egg rolls. The fish sauce was extremely bland and watered down. Lastly, the portion of vermicelli and meat was very skimpy compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've tried. Overall, the grilled pork was tasty but considering the high price point, skimpy portion, and poor overall quality of my vermicelli bowl, I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I come back. read more

We were able to make reservations and they were able to accommodate our group size...about 11 adults and 7 teenagers. 2 pluses! Place was clean, and spacious. Staff were friendly. For a big group, they did well taking our orders. Only one mistake -- I ordered 1-P2 and 2-P3, but got 2-P2 and 1-P3. Luckily they were somewhat similar so we were ok with what we got. Since it's a big group, I don't know what the rest ordered but what we ordered was: A2 Goi Cuon - Spring Rolls appetizer (2 rolls) - was disappointed about this. VERY thinly sliced shrimp, a hint of the pork, a small piece of a lettuce, and A LOT of vermicelli noodle. So not much taste unless you pour the peanut sauce all over. P2 Pho Tai - Steak Pho P3 Pho Tai Chin - Steak & Brisket Pho Both Pho were good. We ordered the regular bowl. It was a good portion for lunch. If you're super hungry and eat a lot, you might want the large. We were only given one plate of the Thai basil, sprouts, lime wedges to share among 4 adults. I'm used to being given a plate just for me! So we asked for a second plate and they gave it to us with no issues. Ca Phe Sua Da - to my knowledge is Vietnamese ice coffee (emphasis on ice). So when we said we wanted 1 Ca Phe Sua Da and 1 Ca Phe Da (which we know as Vietnamese coffee...as in hot coffee) it confused the server. So we clarified by saying we wanted one hot and one cold. The restaurant is conveniently located near hongkong market. So after grocery shopping, we decided to order pho for takeout. The broth tastes fresh but what I do not like is the sweetness of it. This is the first time I have tried broth that's just too sweet. Maybe some people like theirs sweet but I prefer to taste the meat flavor. There was not a lot of meat in the pho either. Their sandwiches are good, though. There's another pho place about two minutes away and I would rather go there for good pho. The people here are always friendly, though. My fiancée and I love Pho and we've tried easily 14 or 15 different restaurants from Seattle to Tacoma. May not seem like much but it's more than most. This is definitely my new favorite place. First off it's the cleanest place I've ever been. As someone with a cleanliness and germ OCD, that is huge. The guy who was our server was super sweet and patient while we looked over the menu plus he was absolutely adorable. We had the tofu pho, tofu vermicelli, and the fried tofu appetizer. Their tofu is beyond compare, it is the absolute best! I can't think of a time in my life I've ever had such amazing tofu and I've been eating it my entire life. I recommend the fish sauce for the vermicelli and the peanut sauce for the fried tofu. I'm so happy we decided to give this place a try and I cannot wait to come back The tofu pho was great and so was the peach tea. Finally tried this place and I was quite disappointed. Like other reviews said, the broth is sweet AND salty, almost to the point of not being able to eat it. Not a lot of flavor, it's like they washed some beef in a pot of water with sugar and water, boiled it and called it a broth. Taking in consideration some reviews, I ordered double meat. The brisket was good but the "steak" was weird AF. Light pink and too tender almost falling apart. I didn't eat it. They give you about a tablespoon of onions with cilantro but most of the cilantro was going bad so I'm glad I had some cilantro in the fridge. Good amount of noodles and the other veggies. I ate the brisket and noodles and whatever broth snuck in. The place is clean, good decor...I just wish they'd pay less attention to the decor because in the end I'm not a decorator, I'm there for the food...and it was pretty bad. read more
