Amazing service! Food is very tasty! Come by if you haven't yet! Very modern and clean space as well!

I finally got around to trying this place, and I wish it was better. I stopped by on a Thursday evening around dinner time. I was pleasantly surprised because it doesn't look much from the outside, but it's a very large and spacious restaurant with clean, modern decor. I guess I should have taken it as a red flag that there was only 1 couple dining in for dinner. Anyhow, I decided to order the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio for take-out because I was on the way home from Hong Kong Market. I paid a little over $16 for my order and it was kind of painful to pay that much for a bowl of vermicelli. I honestly don't recall ever paying that much at any other restaurant, and judging from the rest of their menu items, their prices are high compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. In terms of the actual dish, it was just so-so. The lemongrass grilled pork was marinated well and was the highlight of the dish. However, the other components of the dish fell short. The egg roll was slightly crispy on the outside, but the inside was soggy and chewy, as if the egg roll wrapper on the very inside was undercooked. The egg roll filling ratio was also off because it was nearly 90% carrots and was not balanced with meat and vermicelli like I expected. It cost nearly a dollar more to upgrade the Bun Thit Nuong to include just ONE egg roll. Most places usually give you 2 egg rolls. The fish sauce was extremely bland and watered down. Lastly, the portion of vermicelli and meat was very skimpy compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've tried. Overall, the grilled pork was tasty but considering the high price point, skimpy portion, and poor overall quality of my vermicelli bowl, I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I come back.

I cannot believe the size of my order, very small portion not even a decent amount of vegetables which aren't that expensive. The coffee was fire but other than that it's a no for me. The broth is very salty and taste strange. I love pho but this ain't it. I'm gonna throw this out and I wish I never ordered from this place.

Staff were super nice and the place was cute. I never leave bad reviews but I just had too cause I got food poisoning for the first time ever and I'm 5months pregnant !! definitely dangerous place to eat. The meat tasted funny and I noticed right away but didn't think much of it. I threw up the food that night. Now it's been 4 days and my stomach is still upset and my stool is black. it's freezing in there and my bf didn't like his sandwich and I've tried a lot of phos from a lot of different places and this one was just not Pho tasty, more like pho nasty :( sorry

Since it was late, the place had several tables filled but wasn't a full house. There's tons of tables for groups of 2+ people, and I got seated immediately. Inside is brightly lit and very casual. With all my usual first visits to Vietnamese restaurants, I got their Thai tea and their grilled beef short ribs rice plate. That tea was standard and took a little while to prepare since staff had a bunch other delivery orders to fill throughout the night. The rice plate itself was tasty; the grilled beef short ribs looked burnt but still tasted as if they had all the seasoning as I like, and the meat still pulled off the bone easily, so it definitely wasn't overcooked. The rest of the plate is very standard but satisfying in my books. It was also quite nice chatting with the staff a little bit too on some of the dishes. This is a place I'd recommend for some good food, and they're also open slightly later compared to most other places around their vicinity, so it's also a decent choice for if you want foods little later than usual. Really happy this place gets constant traction, and I will be recommending here to my friends!

I'm a saucy type of pho girl so I have to admit, I can't help but drench my bowl with every condiment available. Hubby ate it plain but that's why we're soulmates :) I also really love the pinch of black pepper they add on top. Most places don't do that so I'm so appreciative of little details like that. Heaping handful of cilantro was also an A++!

We came off a flight at Sea-Tac hoping to find something to satisfy everyone before the long drive home: The eye round and flank beef pho definitely hit the mark. Broth was more simple than some phos I've had before, but it had a very satisfying and fresh flavor and the beef quality was good. My husband ordered the mixed beef, and not having had tripe before wasn't a fan, but still enjoyed the other meats in the dish and overall flavor. Egg rolls were excellent and the fried rice was a favorite for my 10 year old. My 12 year old sampled and loved every dish equally. The owner was exceptional and waited on us like a one-man show he was warm and friendly us and our kids. The wait wasn't long, but he surprised our kids with chocolate after dinner for waiting patiently and smiled and joked with everyone in the restaurant and he moved around the restaurant. The restaurant itself isn't anything too exception in terms of looks or presentation, but the food and family feeling to it has definitely earned the respect of locals getting take out. We'll add it to the list of great places to stop.

They have probably…read moreone of the most chaotic and confusing menus I've ever seen, but they serve some really excellent food. Walking in for a Saturday lunch into this establishment, the entire restaurant smelled like sizzling meat and aromatic herbs. This was a little past noon and most of the staff were in the back taking their lunch break. There was only a single guy in front managing everything. We placed our order at the counter and were given an estimate of 20 minutes for the food. It took exactly 20 minutes, and he even gave us a 2 minute warning when it was almost ready. #4 Combo ($28.99) - This is a huge portion, easily enough for two people. In fact, this was the only thing we ordered (they had run out of the other item we wanted) and we finished only around 75% of the meal. The plate includes an entire mound of rice under all the meat. The photos of this dish are deceptive - the meat on top hides what's underneath. It's actually an appropriate amount given all the protein, a far cry from other places that only give a small bowl of rice. The rice is fried until dry and leathery, sticking together into larger chewy structures. It's actually an excellent texture for this dish. And the flavor is phenomenal, giving the fragrance of herbs, ginger, garlic, and other spices. In terms of meat, the dish includes two Kroeung meatball that taste of lemongrass and aromatic herbs. There's crunchy garlic stuck to the outside and everything is pan fried until a crust develops from the great sear and char. The inside is so meaty, with lots of whole pieces of meat rather than ground. It gives a burst of fragrant umami. There's a chicken wing, stuffed with vermicelli and shredded chicken meat. Again, it has a very fragrant and lemongrassy flavor. The chicken skin pulled along the stuffing gives an extra oomph of texture. Finally, there's an entire chicken leg/thigh quarter. It's so good, one of the best chicken quarters I've ever eaten. I especially love the scoring on the skin of the thigh that allows the pan sear to really develop an extra crusty layer from the additional surface area. The chicken meat interior is so tender and juicy and gives such an amazing coconut enhanced flavor, full of umami. The chicken fat and skin gives that crispy fattiness that enhances the chicken to the max. Now that's how to cook chicken! On the side are some spicy and crunchy daikon pickles mixed with some mint. Also, a fragrant and really spicy minced pepper mixture that gives an instant fresh burn. It's not smoky at all. (5/5) Everything Theary Cambodian Foods serves is a flavor bomb right to the gullet. Delicious, delicious, delicious food. Too bad it's so far away from me, otherwise I'd be a regular.

A few people came to pick up. We ordered the #1 stuffed chicken wings and the #11 clear vermicelli noodle salad with 4 meatballs. The owner was working alone so she was the cashier, waitress and chef. I've never been to Cambodia so can't comment on authenticity but the food was definitely homemade with love. Inside the ambience is very "hole in the wall" but that doesn't bother me. The owner had left our Clorox wipes so we wiped down the table ourselves. The food was absolutely incredible. I loved the noodle salad with bits of kale, crunch of cucumbers, and a refreshing sauce. The meatballs did taste like lemongrass as someone else had mentioned. It was a perfect balance of flavors. I'm not a huge fan of fish sauce but there was no fishiness whatsoever. The stuffed chicken wings were made from the flat part of a chicken wing except without the bone. These are a labor of love for the chef to extract the bone and wrap the meat and stuffing with the skin. It was delicious but seemed like an ingredients of the stuffing was already in my salad. The rice was scorched a tad like Korean scorched rice which gave bites of texture. I liked the wings and they were good but I really loved the noodle salad. I don't know if the owner has other employees but I would warn you to order in advance and be prepared to wait. We didn't mind as we were catching up but I could see that if it gets busy, she will need more help. If you are in the area, want to try new and different flavors, and have time to spare, give this place a try. I'm looking forward to going back to try other dishes.
