1st time here, it was recommended by a coworker who said that this is the best teriyaki in Bonneylake. The chicken teriyaki was okay. The chicken katsu was overcooked to where the chicken was stringy. I don't think we'll be itching to come back. read more

I have to say the chicken, the rice and the vegetable are spectacular. Very tasty. I lick my chops hours afterwards dreaming about chasing the chicken and rooster next- door with teriyaki sauce in my leash. My master doesn't let me run loose in the neighbor's yard however.... I sit next to the windows just in case the stray cat trolls by looking for a free meal.... 4 barks for Ichi 5 Teriyaki. read more

Its been years since we visited and we needed some takeout food for a party, so we decided to give them another try. Ordered the chicken teriyaki & gyozas. Was not a hit. Gyozas were soggy. Only the top/closed lining of the shell was a bit crispy. Chicken teriyaki was okay. Sauce was drizzled atop, but felt there was barely any. They dont give extra sauce either. Overall, was a miss. This place is amazing. They really care and take great care of you. I've been several times, but I highly recommend ordering online as the pickup speed is very impressive. I show up 5 minutes early, go inside, and they get it done in under a minute. Another thing to note is that they have really good lunch deals, so show up between 11:00-15:00. The food is outstanding, and the prices are unbeatable. The workers are kind and caring, and show a great attitude towards you. Really cute restaurant. Don't pass up on it. read more

Hitting the weights this morning I heard a couple talking about this place. Sounded interesting and they have never been disappointed going there usually to pick up and take home. I went ahead and placed a phone order, and it was ready when I go there (about 12 min). I was not disappointed.......The service was ready as promised and portions are not lacking. Most places, you have to ask for extra teriyaki, but here that is not a problem. I tried both dishes, the chicken yakisoba, and the chicken teriyaki -- both five stars. The place is very small and I did not see the tables inside because the owner was nice enough to come out and bring it to my car so I didn't need to transfer out. Very accommodating. I will be back to try other options in their menu, maybe next time go spicy. ;P read more

Ordered the daily special #3 veggie yakisoba with chicken teriyaki. My meal was cooked so fast that I barely had time to sit down and search for wifi. I was ordering to dine in but they served everything to me in a to go box already in a bag, which confusing because I said I wanted to eat in when I arrived. The yakisoba had that classic flavor that I've bought from Uwajimaya and the chicken teriyaki was drowning in sauce, but for the price I should've just ordered one of the lunch specials. read more

The last few months we have had such horrible luck with our usual Teriyaki restaurants. We hesitated coming here but decided to take a risk. Upon entering we noticed the place is spotless. Very very clean. You are greeted right away and welcomed in. They have lots of great options. We ordered our food and 10 minutes later we got our food. Food looked and tasted like it was freshly made. The chicken was juicy and not over cooked like a lot of places tend to be. Portions were perfect and the salad was nice and crispy. Worth every penny! Ichi 5 Teriyaki has always been my go to and my closest teriyaki place. Been going here for years! I like their yakisoba the most compared to other teriyaki places because their vegetables are still colorful, crunchy, and crisp after they've been cook. Other places are dull in color and not crunchy any more. Their teriyaki, on the other hand, is very similar to other places. read more

Best chicken Katsu I ever had. I enjoyed my whole experience at this place. The person who took my order I am assuming the owner was extremely nice and had a wonderful attitude that just made my day. I didn't feel like driving to Kent for my favorite teriyaki-- I will only eat at 4 different teriyaki restaurants in this entire state and they're all 30+ minutes away from me lol. Stopped in while in the area for dinner on a Saturday night. No one inside eating, I'm always leery about empty places but we were starving and low on time. We ordered our food and were not offered water. Food was ok, nothing wowing but pretty good. Staff was friendly. Food was served pretty quickly. Portions are not huge but came with a nice sized salad. Even though we were the only patrons eating in we saw several people come and go with take out orders. Teriyaki joints are everywhere in the PNW.... A lot of great options. The trick is and the thing that really differentiates them is quality of ingredients, portions, staff and speed. Ichi 5 does very well at all of them...especially quality of ingredients. My wife and I tend to get chicken at most teriyaki restaurants and Ichi 5 does a really great job both in cooking and seasoning. We love their sauce and they will always give you extra if you ask. Our picky little ones even love their food, especially the yakisoba. All in all our go to Teriyaki restaurant! read more

Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the quality of the food. When we approached the counter, it was our first visit, so we took a little extra time to look over the menu. The cashier initially told us she'd be with us shortly, then took our order. Throughout the interaction, she seemed irritated and unapproachable. I understand everyone can have an off day, so I didn't think much of it at first. (This was around 11:00 a.m. on July 2.) Since we had our toddler with us, I asked if she had any recommendations for what kids typically enjoy. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing her. We ended up ordering a pastry and a cake pop for our daughter. As the rest of my family placed their orders, we all noticed the same lack of friendliness. One tip for future customers: if you're sitting outside, keep an eye on the pickup counter. I checked a few minutes later and saw that only our drinks were ready. After using the restroom, I noticed several food baskets on the counter but wasn't sure if one was ours. I asked the cashier if the basket under my name was my order, and she simply responded with an "uh-huh" in a dismissive tone. I considered speaking to her about the interaction but ultimately decided to leave and share my experience here instead. The food, coffee, and beautiful location would definitely bring me back. I only hope the customer service improves because a welcoming attitude would make the overall experience just as enjoyable as the food.
