While in town for a conference, I tried the 90-minute Signature Massage which was described as a combination of Thai and Swedish massage. Overall, I left feeling slightly disappointed, though there were definitely some highlights. The pros: parking was easy, scheduling online was simple and convenient, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The standout part of the experience was the therapist walking on my back, which was actually my favorite portion of the massage. The brief stretching at the end was also enjoyable and felt beneficial. The cons: outside of the back walking and final stretching, the Swedish massage portion felt disjointed and choppy. The flow never really came together, and it felt as though the therapist may not have been fully trained in traditional Swedish massage techniques. I also wasn't a fan of the oil that was used. More oil had to be applied between what felt like nearly every stroke, which interrupted the experience, and the scent was quite antiseptic and clinical rather than relaxing. Since this was my first visit, I don't have much to compare it to at this particular business, but based on this experience, it didn't quite meet my expectations. There were some unique elements I enjoyed, but the overall massage lacked the smooth, relaxing flow I was hoping for. read more

Check in was peaceful, the space was clean and a comfortable temperature and the massage was INCREDIBLE! The Thai portion involves lots of stretching and pressure points and I was so happy with how much my muscles and back were worked out. The Swedish massage was in the 2nd half and was deeply relaxing with oils. In the combo that included full body: legs, feet, back, arms, hands, shoulders, upper chest/neck, light face/jaw, and a scalp massage. Luxsa is a hidden gem right across from the Coronado Hilton. They are quick to get you in (same day appointments!) and are super nice when scheduling. We received a couples massage and were blown away by the fantastic massages! Thai Swedish style, deep tissue massages were 10/10 the best massages we have ever received. They are very good at keeping you feeling covered up and private, the massage is fantastic and the service is above average. I had never felt more relaxed and at ease. Got the couple massage with the wife. Very good massage by both ladies. One was Cindy while i Zforgot the second . Originally didn't want a person stepping on the both of us but midway Cindy asked if it was ok in which I replied ok. She was treats Very strong and firm. Told me my back was very tight snd recommended i come visit more frequently. Only down side is i don't live in sd! Anyways, the massage was 90 minutes for 170. Very fair price for two person. Definitely would go back. My only complaint that we both had was the face . I believe it's like a donut type circular pillow on top of the hole- guessing it is a washable item for covid. But it was very hard to get used to faced down. If you are too high, your throat is on the pillow which makes it hard to breath. If you're too low, your eyes are on the top of the pillow which makes your eyes hurt. Definitely better than being choked when pressure is applied. Anyways, very thorough and long massage.
