This is our third time booking with Magical Vacation Homes. All three houses were amazingly clean and very welcoming for our whole family. Everyone enjoyed the game rooms. We have stayed in two houses in Champions Gate, and one in Reunion most recently. There have never been any issues with these homes.The neighborhoods have great amenities and are situated close to all the theme parks. The staff is always very helpful with any questions about the houses. They get back to us very quickly. This time, we wanted to add late checkout during our stay, and Kat was super helpful adding this option to our booking. Kat spoke with me through text messages and even called to confirm the late checkout was added. She is a joy! Magical Vacation Homes provides good discounts throughout the year. Magical Vacation Homes is the worst rental I've stayed at and my family and I have visited vacation rentals across the country over the past decade. We were only staying for 5 days and we arrived late the first day and left early the fifth day, so really just three full days. In that time, we were visited by four repair teams, one came twice, due to issues in the home. The position that Magical Vacation Home takes is that if they fix your issue in 24 hours, you shouldn't be upset. While this may seem like good customer service, imagine having to host multiple repair teams into the home while you are trying to relax on vacation. Here is a short list of the problems we faced: - amenities that didn't work or were broken (damaged pool table, video game remotes that weren't charged and had no charging cables making them unusable, a room advertised as a movie room with smart TV which actually only played cable television - which was also out, and TVs with nothing to watch but Netflix even though they called them smart TVs) - unclean accommodations (pasta sauce splashed over an area rug, wads of hair on the shower wall, more pasta sauce on the kitchen counters), bugs (we killed a roach and had ants), and kids toys and used cups littered around the backyard from previous guests - broken and missing furniture (dining table was said to be for 8 but only had 7 chairs and two of those were broken) - Broken tiles in the bathroom, a broken window upstairs, singe marks on the kitchen ceiling, marker drawn onto the curtains, two broken doors (this obviously didn't impact our vacation, but just be aware the listing photos seem to be out dated) They sent, unannounced, people to bring us charging cables, clean the rug, try to spray chemicals in the home for pests, and someone to try and fix the media room TV. In all we had five different visits on our vacation, in three days, when these things should have been handled before we arrived. Magical Vacation Homes will tell you that they fixed some of the issues, so what's the big deal? The big deal is that we spend over $500 per night to have quality family time, not host repair men. We didn't expect the first one and they just let themselves in while we were home in our pajamas (when we complained, we were told they have the right, per the agreement we signed, for their repair teams to come in at any time without letting you know, so there is really no privacy as their staff can just walk in to the home you rented with or without you in it). We let the second repair man in. The third one walked to the back of the house while we were in the pool. The fourth one showed up as we were leaving and we turned him away as we didn't want him to spray chemicals in the home while we were in it. The fifth one was in the house when we came home one day and the front door was unlocked when we arrived as well. Again, many of these are small issues, but they added up to a big problem for our family who just wanted to relax. After all this, all I asked was that the company refund the cleaning fee as the house wasn't clean among the many other small Issues. They refused and offered us a late check out when our flight is early on the final day so that was of no use to us. We refused. They then offered us 15% off to stay again. We won't be doing that. I told them it was the cleaning fee or nothing and that I would be sharing my review and reporting their company to the BBB. They then accused me of trying to extort them for money with the threat of bad reviews and they offered me $100 back on an over $2000 rental. I told them to keep their money as we were beyond that now and I would be sharing my review of their rentals far and wide. This wasn't ever about money, it was about not getting what we paid for and them getting our money for services not provided and nonfictional amenities. Had we known there were so many issues with the amenities this house boasts, we would have not chosen this house and spent our money with this company. I highly encourage you to stay anywhere else than with Magical Vacation Homes. There is a joke in here somewhere that their homes are less than magical, but I can promise you it's worse than even that. Choose anywhere else to stay and believe any and all bad reviews you read. I wish we would have. We are now out money and time on a bad rental and a worse rental company. Please don't follow in our footsteps. read more

The vacation home we rented from magical vacation homes was horrible. It's in the reunion gated community. The chairs were broken things literally falling apart. Washer didn't work. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Every add on was expensive. I can only say my care team Rep Kat Rios was our only saving grace. She was fabulous. Family of 20 booked, only 5 cars allowed -- stranded, stressed, and cars towed. Never again. Large Family Booking Alert! The house may sleep 20, but only 5 cars are allowed. Hidden rule, rude staff, and towing threats left us stranded at midnight with a one-year-old in the car. Worst experience ever. Magical Booking Homes at Windsor Island Resort completely ruined our trip. The "5-vehicle limit" was never clearly disclosed on the magicalvacationhomes website under the listing. When we begged for 4 extra passes, management only gave us 1. We even watched cars being towed and had to consider leaving ours at Walmart overnight. Even family members who lived nearby weren't allowed to visit, despite being on the guest list. We were told no one, even guest on the list, were allowed to drive in because there were more than 5 cars. Those are very important rules that should always be clearly disclosed prior to booking. The house itself was nice, but everything else -- the lack of transparency, rude staff, and unfair rules -- was a nightmare. We had a minor inconvenience due to the tv not working downstairs. I booked a VRBO 3-4 months ago for a night before we need to check into our Disney hotel. 3 weeks before our trip, I got an email saying the unit has sold and I need to cancel my VRBO reservation and contact Magical Vacation Homes to rebook. I was told that, "all of the units are the same and I probably won't notice the difference. The price will also be no different". Great, I thought. Should be an easy transition. I just needed to call Magical Vacation Homes and book directly with them. I called them. They couldn't find my reservation. The customer service rep told me that I could not book a condo through them because their policy is a minimum of 2 nights. I don't need 2 nights. I only needed one. I said I was told to contact the manager, Reina Soto Sr. if I had an issues with this. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TOLD ME THAT REINA WAS THE PERSON WHO TOLD HER I COULD ONLY BOOK ONE NIGHT. I reached out to Magical Vacation Homes yesterday through their website for help with a new reservation. Marcos wrote back within 15 minutes. I was using their new "make an offer" feature that I was not familiar with. While he was not able to make the final approval on a Sunday without management there he walked me through the whole process, and I woke up this morning to an accepted offer . reservation #8192240. We exclusively use Magical Vacation Homes when traveling to Orlando and this is probably our 12th reservation. My experience with Marcos yesterday only reinforces my decision. Worst rental experience we have ever had. We arrived and no games and TVs work. Fridge did not work, ruined our food we bought. No one can come fix this until Monday when we arrived on Friday. Call about pool heat, and they claim it is 350 bucks extra. I ask them why it isn't complimentary at this point when nothing else here works. They say they can't help me. I tell them to do the heat. But we have multiple families here and I can't change my friends card on file. So I say to wait until I ask him and they go and charge my friends card 400 not 350 for heat. Then they do not answer me. No manager is available to handle anything or fix anything. This is the worst run place ever. They also go and tell me pre checks were done on all the TVs and games by their team. Funny somehow it all broke between when they checked on Friday until we arrived on Friday. I have asked over and over to speak to a manager and I am told I can't. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

WARNING: Be very careful with booking with Magical Vacation Homes. We stayed at the "Belle Oasis" in Champion Gates January 2023. The website pictures looked amazing, but when we arrived at the home it was in extremely bad shape. A lot more issues were reported but just to name the more severe ones: 1) Couch is terrible condition 2) Bunk Bed Broken 3) Water Leaking in Game Room 4) No Heated Pool 5) HVAC broken with 81 Degree Temperature. After countless calls for service, they finally admitted that they work with a sister Property Management Company "Florida Vacation Homes". They say they take pride in resolving issues within 48 hours and take issues very seriously, but after the third day of me called for service (Care Team), the only fix that was done on the fourth day was the HVAC and Heated Pool. All other issues they did nothing about. The worst part about the company is being dishonest and painting a picture that they fixed everything but this is simply not true and I have documented everything as proof with the Better Business Bureau. They took pictures of fixes when I already left the property and tried to say those were fixed. But luckily I took my own pictures and have time stamps for everything. They commented on my issues and implied that a completely ripped up Couch and a tilted bunk bed is defined as "Still Useable". They tried to resolve this conflict by sharing the following statement: "As a gesture of good will we have offered Mr. Wu a refund of the pool heat he paid during his stay and a 5% discount off his next stay. As the pool was not heated for the majority of my stay, I do not believe this to be "Gesture of Good Will" but rather a "Expected Refund". The theming was absolutely beautiful! We had plenty of space, great Disney theming on the walls, and the condo was just wonderful! Don't let those website photos fool you into thinking this experience will be magical. My high hopes for this magical experience left me with nothing but disappointment. This entire experience was unbelievable. My family arrived at our rental and the house was not thoroughly cleaned. Previous garbage was left behind from the previous renters. My family took the garbage out and the cans were so full we couldn't throw ours away. Old food was found in the bed of one of the kids rooms. I called the help line immediately and got "someone will reach out". Days went by no response from them. Now with all the garbage in the cans this attracted pest. We had some aggressive raccoons. We paid for a heated pool and that wasn't working per the team if it's 55 degrees the pool won't heat. What's the point of having a heated pool. Called the support number again "someone will reach out". Someone came from their team to fix the pool but filled the pool and left leaving the water on causing flooding. The only positive from this experience was my family being able to laugh at the fact we paid thousands of dollars just to get a horrible memory. Management/owners please save your time couldn't care less about you commenting on this review because you were given countless opportunities to fix it. Top Villas looks like an amazing company with all these add ons and luxury homes., They are merely just a booking platform and do NOT manage the home. We had SOOO MANY ISSUES, and upon having to communicate them we were pushed along to the real manages Magical Vacations. We stayed in 4500 Reunion Resort,. We thought we were getting a 'luxury' home, but what we got instead was a beat up, run down, poorly managed home. The caliber this home is should be at the prime and peak of what you're getting. Let's start 1) First with upon arrival non working items- There was no hot water upon arrival, no sound in theatre, non working outlets in front so we couldn't even charge the golf carts we paid for, leaking water all over the floor from the ice machine, steamer not working, dishwasher not working,. 2) The stock- There was literally no stock. Again not once did TOP VILLAS, give you a heads up on this. There is 12 rooms and each room had ONE toilet paper!!!, one paper towel, no dish soap, hand soap, each bath room had tiny tiny and only ONE body wash per each bathroom, barely any towels, there was barely any pool towels,.No salt and pepper , Kitchen stock there was just nothing really super bare. 3) The esthetics and broken items - SOO WORN. Arcade games not working, all daybeds and outdoor furniture has MOLD and torn and stained and disgusting, inside same broken furniture everywhere, stains, broken mirrors, beds not even beds just metal frames, A 12 bedroom house soo poorly managed.,, I wonder if the Owners know their home is so abused and so poorly maintained. 4) Hours are not available to help during any issues, They close at 5 and open at 9, so any issues that come you have to make a ticket and then sometime the next day by 5pm they will be there read more

Edited to add: Spoke with manager and they offered to remove pool heat and the erroneous charge for the game that was broken on our arrival only if we remove our negative reviews. I will not be doing that as we were charged unjustly for pool heat that did not work 80% of the time and a game that we reported as broken within 24 hours of arrival. They should remove those charges based on fact, regardless of whether or not we remove our reviews. Magical Views vacation home was the least magical place I've ever stayed. If i could rate 0 stars I would. The worst rental experience I have ever had. States that the annex house had 2br but only had 1, hot tub and pool heat didn't work, had to call four days in row to have a tech out, the game room had an arcade game with a completely smashed screen and shards of glass on the console and floor. This leads me to believe that no one comes and checks out the rentals when guests leave. Two gaming consoles and 4 remotes but only one non working remote charger. gas grill didn't work and had to have a tech fix the connection. Pool furniture broken and stained. WiFi and tv systems didn't work. forced to pay for Reunion Resort amenities even though they still charge a fee through the resort if you try to do anything. When we went to pick up our wrist bands they said our house didn't qualify so we had to spend a day straightening that out. When we went back for the second time to get the bands we were told we were the 4th family that day who had issues with homes they rented through MVH not having wristband access. Nightmare. Stated free bike rentals which no longer exist through the resort. Hot water didn't work in first floor bathroom sink. We had 14 registered guests and there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Kitchen was bare bones. Listing shows fire pit however at the house it shows only the owner can use it. We have rented A LOT of homes throughout the years and my occupation is in the hospitality industry and I have never experienced anything like this. Awful awful awful. Today is Sunday and I've been waiting for a manager to call me back since Thursday. Would never ever ever rent this house again or through this company. Should have been an amazing home but failed in so many ways. Too many issues to list them all. Adding that the management team just emailed trying to blame us for breaking the screen!!!! What ever you do, do not book through this company. Heading into a long weekend and they cancel our 6 bedroom rental for Tuesday. Yes, next Tuesday. No phone call just a generic email offering us the choice of two, much lower standard hones. When i called, they said we did not cancel, we are simply moving you to another property. Eh, excuse me? We took weeks researching the right house for all our needs. To be brushed off like that is absolutely unprofessional. I get, issues happen, but do the right thing. To get something comparable, in no way better, they want us to pay an extra 3500. Not happening! We now have 7 flights booked for Tuesday and no where to stay. Everything decent is booked. But not only did they nickel and dime us, there service was TERRIBLE, on top of the fact that charged us for damage that was already there (we have photo and video evidence). When we arrived, internet was not working. It took them a whole day to come out. When tried to call about heating the hot tub, it took hours for them to call us back only to let us know they charge to turn it on. There were no toiletries whatsoever in the house. Just not the experience we expected from a company called magical vacations. Now, TWO WEEKS later, we get a charge for $450 for a rip in the pool table. The rip was already there and we took video as we arrived and it is very clearly already there. DO NOT waste your money. Staying at the "Spanish castle" in reunion resort. Gorgeous home but immediately upon arrival issues with the home. Clogged sick (which smelled of an incredibly foul order) the jacuzzi did not work (apparently blowers need to be replaced). Three days later the jacuzzis still not repaired and following a rain stone last night mulch covering pool and back patio. Called at 9am promptly to clean, sent pics and now 3pm still nothing done! A complete day lost by the pool. I would have expected someone come repair and clean pool as it is disgusting..... or at least brought me the tools so I could have repaired, clean and vacuum pool and area. Disappointing beyond words. UPDATE: The storm was Sunday night---After a lot of complaining and back and fourth with the "care team" on Monday ---- The pool and patio have been cleaned and all debris removed so they can be safely used by noon on Tuesday. Fell on deaf ears: 7501 Mourning Dove (unit 202) Reported the following to the "care team" with magical vacations to no avail.. On first night we had to strip bed of linen due to excessive amount of hair in bed, it was during that same time we discovered the yellow stained pillows that made it difficult to just throw another pillow case on top. Had to wash bedding before we could get settled, it was evident that sheets were not changed. Water is very much luke warm in showers but hot from sink faucets (this made very uncomfortable showers). Carpets are severally stained in high traffic areas uninviting and unsanitary for kids to lounge, specifically my three year old,(this made for too many cringe worthy moments). Carpet was filthy. Unit has lots of stained walls and too many preventive maintenance items, which tells me they are being turned fast without the guest in mind but for the dollar that can be obtained. Two wash cloths, 0 paper towels or pots make me really question if this "starter pack" was really thought out for traveling families of 5 or more read more

We rented a large home with several other families, and we had such a great experience. The house was roomy enough that we didn't feel cramped and had plenty of room for family cooking and meals. Terrible service. Our rental had 2 broken dishwashers during our week long stay, had much of the week without a dishwasher. Bugs in one of the kid's themed bedrooms - they sprayed bug spray then never came back to change sheets, despite numerous calls. Most appalling was the glass in the bottom of the pool that my adult son did not see and stepped on - he's still being treated for it. They never contacted me after and quite frankly, with the exception of one lady 2 days before we left, no one cared. Would never rent here again. read more
