Wonderful buffet breakfast was enjoyed by us each day with a lot of great choices. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the main porch watching everything go by. Loved that the inn provided so many conveniences - beach chairs, towels, beach bag, bicycles, & bottled water! The location is excellent - you can walk easily to the beach or to restaurants, bars, or many ice cream places! Excellent place to stay when vacationing on LBI!!

We regard it the spot to go to when we are at LBI for our Anniversary or special dinner and we have done so several times. We were there in August of '25 and had great seats outside by the walk, although it is a beautiful setting you are right across from a popular ice cream store that gets very busy and loud with folks and children peering in to see what you are eating. Beach Haven is tough for parking as well and I had to walk two blocks to make it back to the restaurant. All said, if you are looking for a romantic special dinner spot, the Gables should be on your list but bring your wallet it is Prix Fixe at $130+ per person, add a bottle of wine and you have a $400 meal for two.

(After all, they've been in business for 30+ years!) I've been coming to LBI since i was a baby, and somehow missed this hidden gem! My fiancé and I were recommended this place by numerous people and boy were they right! The second you walk in, you're in awe of all the cute homey decor and games, piano, and cozy patio! Some things to note: -If you're worried about a shared bathroom: most rooms have their own private bathroom, but we booked late and were left with only the shared bathroom option. There was a separate key and it was always locked after use. The bathroom is shared with two rooms only, and was kept immaculate. I would definitely be content if i had to stay in that room again (plus it saved a bit of money) -The breakfast was great! It made it feel like home! Joanne's banana bread was deliiicious! As was everything else, and they have a ton of options for all dietary needs! -You can't go wrong staying on any of the floors! We were on the second floor and it was easy to pop in and out! -The $20/PP for late checkout was so worth it! You get to stay at the beach a little later, make use of their bikes and chairs, beach badges and pop in for a quick refreshment and shower before your trip ends! -Location: 10/10. Beach side, so it's easy to get to, but around the corner from CHEGG and a quick walk to fantasy island! Overall, I would give it a higher rating if i could! The breakfast room was filled with your yummy food and our happy faces and laughter each morning. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to both of you for the kindness you showed to my parents, especially my mother, throughout the weekend. She cannot stop talking about you all! The patient consideration that you showed in conversation with her, is so appreciated. I am still amazed by how generous and kind Christina was to lend her the earrings for the wedding. Your assistance when I was hosting the rehearsal dinner in the guest house was unexpected and very much appreciated. The entire weekend was a dream come true for many people, especially my son and his wife. But, for me, it was beyond even that. To look around and know that almost every person that I love was in the same house with me was absolutely incredible. Thank you for facilitating an unforgettable weekend.
