Online through my account they allowed me to book with an MD I hadn't seen before but figured it meant that was okay since it would filter with who popped up based on my specifications. Received an email confirmation for my appointment. I guess same day they had called from a random number and let me know they cancelled my appointment. Issue is, I don't check my voicemail from random numbers. I showed up and they didn't seem to care that I didn't receive the notification that they cancelled due to the provider I booked with online not taking new patients. Why allow someone to book with a provider that isn't taking new patients?? No email or text or anything... very disappointing. Again, this is more of a "my fault" situation, but the customer service aspect of the situation was very underwhelming. Probably won't be back and will be going elsewhere.

When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

The provider saw me for about two minutes (literally) to answer my question, and I was still charged a full visit fee. A medical staff said that didn't seem accurate that I couldn't do both in the same visit. I reached out to the billing department but nothing was resolved. I guess it's my fault for saying I had an additional question when I called to make the appointment. Next time I won't. I was told some providers allow you to ask an additional question or a couple of questions during an appointment, and some don't. I gave two stars because I did genuinely like the providers themselves, but I won't be returning.
