Great old school service. Zaven, the pharmacist, always has a joke/compliment ready for you. Great staff too.

There are so many things in life that we get to pick where to go to get what we need. We try to find doctors that we trust and will take care of us well and have a nice clean office that shows the doctor and owners put time and care into for us. When it comes to the medicine we have to take and put into our bodies we should be doing the same. Moving around a lot for my work has given me the ability to try several different pharmacies in different states and cities and Magnolia Pharmacy has set the bar higher. I have my grandmothers prescriptions there as well now because Kevin, one of the owners, and Sherry, make up two of the most intelligent pharmacists I have ever met. They take the time to study your prescriptions and get to know you and your history so they can have your medicine at your door before you even realize you were about to run out in a day or two. The chains like CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aide, as well as mail order Pharmacies are trained to give you over priced meds that they can charge more for. You can get the SAME ones, and talk about alternatives if you want, at Magnolia Pharmacy. They know how this industry works, what meds react with what, and how to do what a pharmacy should do! Every month when I stop by to pick up something Jessica is already ready for me. It's been a long time since I wrote a post that I truly believed in! You won't be disappointed at Magnolia Pharmacy! I paid less than my Kaiser co-pay for my prescriptions. How is that even possible? It pays to have knowledge. It took 10 minutes in/out. Honestly the best pharmacy experience ever. I called the competitor, a big chain, and got a run-around. None of that here. Just fast, affordable prescriptions. I referred my friend who had oral surgery and the pharmacist took care of it over the phone with the doctor in a minute. Again, he paid $6 for one and $8 for the other. My co-pay at my HMO is $20. Makes you scratch your head. Amazing. read more

Magnolia Pharmacy is a hidden gem in Burbank as far as Pharmacy's go. Great service and very friendly staff, very fast percription fills. Zaven and the girls know their stuff I'm glad I found this pharmacy, no more long waits at Rite Aid or CVS. read more

Long due review for the best pharmacy in the whole county and I am pretty sure the state of California! I found it when I was leaving my doctor's office a few years ago, I was kind of skeptical at first, but didn't have anything to loose, what could be worse than having to wait for an hour for your prescription at Rite Aid with a cold and indifferent service?? The pharmacist and his assistants are always caring and ready to help and answer any question I might have. They make me feel comfortable and within a few minutes my prescription is ready!! Great people knowledgable staff. They can explain all the reasons this particular medicine was prescribed & how to take it safely. Nice family business. Extra free parking in 3 story structure just west of main building. It is busy once in a while but, they remain smiling & polite. They really care for their customers. This place is my favorite pharmacy of all time. Zaven is always extremely kind and super knowledgeable in the field of medicine, there hasn't been a question I've asked that he could not answer. And I'd like to add that he and his staff have went above and beyond in helping me with getting my prescription orders filled, I'm not sure if I can ever find a pharmacy with a team as awesome as Magnolia's. 5 stars! read more

I wish I started coming here YEARS ago. So much time wasted going to big pharmacies who give vague answers and don't properly help you handle any insurance issues. The staff is so personable and remembers you, plus the wait time is microscopic. Finally, going to the pharmacy is an easy-going and pleasant experience! Magnolia Pharmacy is by far the best in terms of Customer Service. Their staff members are kind and they will all make you feel welcome. My mother has gone through different types of serious medical conditions and Magnolia Pharmacy has helped my mother get her Meds on time and has gone out of their way to make sure my mother was always taken care of. The Pharmacist "Zaven" is definitely knowledgeable and dependable, he is the nicest Pharmacist that I have ever met. I've never worked with a pharmacy with so much integrity. I like my other pharmacist A LOT but I am still going to stick with Magnolia Pharmacy because they are simply the best. It's like having a personal health advocate on your side--they really know what they are doing. I cannot concur enough with the previous reviewers. I live in Hollywood Hills and discovered this pharmacy only because I have one doctor in the building. Now I go there for everything even though it is out of the way for me - that's how good it is. Zaven is everything the other posters say - kind, caring, friendly and 100% genuine. And he knows his business like no other pharmacist I have ever known. He is an awesome addition to anyone's healthcare provider roster whereas most pharmacists are little more than cashiers these days. Zaven the pharmasist is amazing! enough said!!! this man is a gem!

This pharmacy is amazing. It reminds me of what a mom & pop shop pharmacy would have been like in the 1950's. Never before have I received such exceptional customer service and knowledge. The main pharmacist goes out of his way to make sure you understand the medication you're taking, he offers advice, and while you are having a discussion with him all of his focus is on YOU and he is so nice and sincere. Living in 2015 it's rare to have such a small town feel as you do when you receive your rx's here. I value that in an establishment and I can't believe I wasted a decade at CVS where their "pharmacists" are like robots, there is no real sincerity or care, and it's just another zombie customer service location. I will NEVER go anywhere else. They are a 1950's feel in a world so overrun with corporations and bar codes. Here, they treat each and every person like a person, not a number. I recommend them to everyone I can. read more

I've tried Zaven once and I've come back ever since. No more waiting in line in the other chain pharmacies. I'm in and out in about 5 mins. Parking is free and right across the street. This place is also very convenient since my doctor's office is upstairs. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the Burbank area. After a couple of visits, he'd remember me and actually ask about how I'm feeling. This is what a real pharmacist should be like. read more

After reading such great reviews, I guess I had outlandish expectations. The lady that answered the phone treated me as if I was an stupid dunce. I called to inquire if they carry a simple medication. They said that they may be able to order it, but would need to see the prescription. I explained that I could read it off to them, that it was three words. Not highly complicated medical jargon. Being tired of getting the run around, I explained that I could not continue to run around town, making blank trips, and could I please just read off the three simple words on the prescription. She replied "I just told you you need to bring it in". How dare she speak to me like a smart-mouthed child on the playground. I am not sure of her name, but she had an Asian accent and a very smart mouth. I will never do business with this pharmacy, and will advise all my colleagues the same. If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Now fill that! read more
