It has now been over 90 minutes with poor communication and very little urgency from the staff. If you are really ill, this pharmacy will make the experience even worse. Honestly, I would recommend going to Walgreens or using Amazon Pharmacy instead if you want reliable service and less stress.

We did some small shopping and when we went to pay there weren't any checkers at any registers. After hunting someone down we paid and returned to the pharmacy. This was definitely our first and last time filling a Rx here!

I am Very sick for the first time in years. Called to see if the prescription was ready that was sent here (Glenoaks location). Turns out they did not have the medication. First, no one called me to let me know. I found out by calling them before driving there. The person in the pharmacy told me other Walgreens may have it but he could not call them and be sure. So I spent 3.5 hours calling every Walgreens within a practical distance - average wait / hold time 30 minutes each. All told me they could tell me who MAY have the drug I was prescribed but would not call to make certain. I think this is pretty crappy customer service. Not sure if this is a policy but just sucky if you ask me.

We have two CVS stores close to my house. Neither one of them had what I was looking for. The…read moreshelves were empty. So, I decided to drive all the way to Glendale to see if they had what I was looking for and they did. Went in yesterday around noon and all I needed to get was 4 value pack of Febreeze. One the Linen and Sky scent, and the other one their original Gain scent. I also needed to buy 4 Glade applicators for my plug-in Glade adapter. Well, found everything. The applicators--2 were clean linen scents, one was Hawiian breeze, and the other one was an orchid blossom. When I was looking for my items, another lady that was stocking more stuff, asked me if I needed help. I replied "yes, if you could please unlock those windows so I can get my items," She said for me to wait, and she will get the key. Didn't take long for her return. She came back, unlocked both cases, and I was on my way to the registers. Her name was Mary. Sweet Mary. She even told me "people steal stuff, and that is why we have to lock a lot of our items". I smiled and proceeded forward. Can't comment on their pharmacy, because we get our essential needs, medications, vitamins from the one that is a lot closer to me. Store was super clean, employees were very nice and helpful, has a drive thru, and ample underground parking structure. You can also park outside. Last, but not least, I had a $5.00 coupon for my $20.00 purchase. She honored that too. I wish that they can bring back that $10.00 care pass. I don't know why they discontinued that care pass? It saved us a lot of money. Now you have to sign up for it, and pay $5.00 for each month. Not beneficial at all. Total for all that was $37.03 including tax, minus my coupon. They also have great discounts all around the store. One of the best CVS stores that I have been to in a very long time. Keep up the great work! Overall, had a very nice experience at this CVS.

Each time, instead of helping me, she simply told me to press a button to call for assistance while she continued her conversation with a subordinate colleague. I found her demeanor extremely rude and dismissive. I was genuinely surprised to learn that she was a manager, as her interaction with a customer was anything but welcoming or helpful. A manager should understand the importance of stopping to assist a customer, especially when the customer is directly asking for help. Andrea did the complete opposite. Some additional training in customer service and the principle of putting the customer first would certainly be beneficial.

In recent years, I started coming to Glendale's East Broadway CVS Pharmacy location with some regularity as I took my mom for whatever this-and-that she needed. It was conveniently close to our P.O. Box, minimal traffic in the area except when the nearby elementary school let out, and the parking situation was usually easy. Because of these reasons, I then found myself shopping for random things because I was in the area. In particular, I frequented them for some of my favorite everyday-used brands/items: contact lens solution, lime juice for making cocktails, past holiday sale candy, shampoo, and toothpaste. OVERALL By default, CVS Pharmacy's Glendale East Broadway location had become my favorite pharmacy to go to, and I don't see that changing. The prices were generally comparable except maybe the actual grocery items which I've never bought, I couldn't speak about the pharmacy which I've never used, and the sale on the holiday candy was phenomenal! The many locked-up cases were sad to see, but that was more for a longer social commentary discussion. The one negative I had with them was their mile-long paper receipts loaded with a ton of coupons you probably wouldn't use! But, I felt their loyalty rewards program was pretty good because it seemed like I always qualified for a $5.00 cashback coupon. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $37.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
