I sat at the bar, after being welcomed by a local fully equipped with his own Skynyrd beer koozie!! Hahaha! They have karaoke, and they karaoke DJ spinning all the good country hits, literally emulating exactly what I play at home. Anyhow, the local that pulled my chair out essentially, told me that the "bartender sucked" But in good ole down home local fashion, she clapped right back, and obviously he was joking cuz she is phenomenal. Despite having a completely full bar, and waiting tables, she acknowledged me almost immediately. Even sat down in the bar stool next to me to take my order and chit chat and go over the menu with me. I think her name was Alicia, but regardless she was outstanding! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper wings. They came out really fast, really hot, and really good. I kind of wish I had room to order another entree, but it filled me up. As I waited for my food, I was suddenly engulfed by an entire group of locals. Now this place, is the mature crowd, and they were so nice they sort of took me under their wing! This is the epitome of down south hospitality. I've been holding out on coming to this place for a few years now, and looking back, I wish I would have came a lot sooner. I hate using the term "vibe", But this is totally my vibe. Great food, great service, great locals, laid back atmosphere with music playing and karaoke? You just can't beat it. I have responsibilities, so I had to leave really early, but rest assured, I will definitely be back. I mean who else is going to sing Jason Aldean on the karaoke machine?
