I don't remember if I've ever reviewed Calloways. This bar is totally awesome. They have about 6 billiard (pool) tables and recently installed some super bright lights above them. They have a few arcade games and a punching game. The jukebox is always jamming some good tunes thanks to the patrons (like me). They have 6 large screen TV's streaming sports but they will charge the channel to something you want to watch (sound off). The food: everything is awesome and kitchen is open until 2am! It's so hard to find food after 10pm that isn't fast food! Their pizza is really good for late night food. Their burgers are huge as are the chicken fingers. The ragin' cajun blackened grilled chicken sandwich is the bomb, as are their phillies (chicken or beef). The star on menu though is their wings. I'm completely addicted to the flavor "Hot Lemon Pepper Garlic " but let me tell you that their HOMEMADE "Inferno " sauce is AMAZING but not for the faint of heart! It's made with tons of fresh habanero peppers and lots of love in secret ingredients! Just a teeny dip on my wrap and I experienced an explosion of heat and flavor. I'm not sure I could handle an entire wing dipped into the stuff but it's awesome on seasoned french fries and sandwiches turned into wraps. read more

11 of us came to town for an LSU game. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. I cannot say enough about the staff. Meagan, Brianna, and Jayson were amazing. They treated us like we were regulars. We frequented the bar several times during our stay. If we ever come back this way, we will be sure to visit this place again. Good food at affordable prices. Often get take out and the food is always cooked properly and as ordered. Tasty with good portions. Everything we ever eat here is very good. From burgers too philly cheesesteaks to the mozzarella sticks and mini corn dogs which are actually fried dough with a creamy corn inside. The menu has something for everyone. Came here with my Dad and brother on thanksgiving and had an amazing time just sitting and talking and watching the Cowboys game and Egg Bowl. The lady behind the bar was so nice and the drinks were really good. Got some chicken tenders and assumed they would be the small tyson ones you get at normal bars but these things were massive and made 2 meals, the teri-hot-cajun was awesome and I recommend this sauce for sure. Sports/dive bar... not a fancy place, but very friendly. Located in a corner of a mostly vacant retail strip. Half of the bar is dedicated to billiards, foos ball, and video games. Decent beer selection. Most of the patrons were sitting at/by the bar. Most of the tables were vacant. It is mostly bar service, but our bartender/waitress did a great job with us at a table. The pub grub we ordered were very good (cheesesteak, burger, fries, and wings.) The burgers are on fancy brioche buns and the fries are double-fried, REALLY good! Our order of hot and honey wings were nicely sauced, meaty, and well fried. Though, I felt they were neither hot or sweet. There is a sign that kids are prohibited after 8PM. We were there around 6PM on a Saturday. We saw no kids and it was not too busy at this time. Will definitely come back and try different wing sauces and bring the kids to play pool and the other games. read more

I came in to Calloway's and enjoyed my self. Leigh and Rachel were so kind and had great personalities. They handle customers so nicely. One lady came in and was so rude to them and they killed her with kindness. I believe I heard them Say they were going to pray for her. I hope my children will one day be as kind as these ladies are. Great place. It's neighborhood type of sports bar and grill. The food is excellent, especially the wings with raw fries on the side. Good bar with some great bartenders. A lot of pool tables, video games, & several televisions. Great to just hangout or get take out. They have regular entertainment. I regularly get delivery through Bite Squad & food arrives still hot and fresh. I wish they offered some simple side salads for when want a healthy side. read more

I went to a restaurant Calloways Sports Bar & Grill after church on Sunday 12/2/18 they had the sport bar dark inside & couldn't see a step they had inside & I fell hard & my head hit the post under the table & my knees are in so much pain. What was so foul the manager or staff didn't come check on me at all. The others customers had the nerve to say that's been happening all day to other customers what the kind of mess is this & they still don't turn on some lights or do something to protect the customers. My husband and oldest son had to pick me off the floor. Where it happened at is in front of the bar where the customers and the waitstaff lady was and they saw what happened. The waitstaff lady came took my family order and still didn't check on me she acted like nothing happened. It's been 3 days and I am still in pain. My knee is swollen and I been having headaches and body is stiff and sore. Do not go here they are so rude & the food is not worth it. This was our first time eating at this place. Won't eat there ever again. The waitstaff name is Rachel who took our order and who was behind the bar when I fell. read more

We ordered one night here through bite squad and I will say their food is great. We ordered bbq wings and lemon pepper wings with their pub chips (I forget what they call them there) and I thought everything was great. My one complaint is their lemon pepper seasoning. It is not that great. It tastes like lemon sweet tarts and pepper. It has a funny smell to it as well. We also got all flats which was awesome! Their ranch is great as well. We will definitely order again, just not the lemon pepper. read more

Let me just say Ive been coming here for years. They have the absolute best wings, burgers AND pizza. This is a true local neighborhood bar. There is always entertainment. Bartenders are conversationally witty and pleasant. And if you like college football, there is no bar anywhere that does football like Calloways-college or pro. You have to experience it for yourself. Basketball, races, baseball, hockey....got that too. That little bar where everyone knows your name. read more

I really wish that I lived closer to west Columbia. If I did I would be here ALL THE TIME. If you are looking for some Buffalo Wild Wings, Twin Peaks, chain vibe then this place is not for you. If you are looking for a hometown place with good food, great beer, and friendly vibe... then this IS the place for you. The owner Mike is one of the most down to earth people with the most wonderful demeanor. The bartenders are fun and attentive without being overbearing. The pool tables are open. The conversations are flowing. This is truly what the bar life is all about. Try the twice baked wings. Dry hot wings who would have thought. I truly think this place is the bees knees if you are the type to frequent a local dive bar. Not a run if the mill family spot so please leave your kids at home. But, if you want great chicken wings at a good price in a place that treats you as a regular on your first visit...this is the place. Best dive bar ever!!! The food is quality bar food! Ice cold beers!!! Great service!!! And no smoking so it does not smell like a dive bar. Just passing through for the masters, close to my hotel. To be honest with you my feelings on this place would have to be very mixed like Mariah Carey I'm not sure which way to go you know I enjoyed the few beers I had but then when I learned that the mixed drinks were made with mini mini liquor bottles it was kind of questionable $5 for a mini Jack Daniels bottle I can go buy three of them put them in my pocket and drinking in the bathroom well that was what ran through my head then they handed me the most many glass of Coke in the world to mix with my Jack Daniels which made it a little bit worth it is like taking one big shot with the little bitty chaser not enough girls not enough females that all the bartender was nice she was a little bit weird though read more

If you want great music and the largest and the best wings in town then this is the place for you. If you want a glitzy glam place then you have come to the wrong place. This is a place to eat great wings, watch your favorite team and shoot a game of pool. The music is kinda loud so not the best place for little ones. This bar is located right behind the Sonics in a shopping center off Augusta Highway. We ended up going there just for a couple of quick beers & that's what we got. If your going for girly drinks this is not the place for you. If you like a good atmosphere, friendly staff and a non college town kind of night for once. Than this will do. read more
