The line was long but moved very quickly through security. Restrooms located on the main floor were large with many urinals/toilets for men and the women's restroom (according to my wife) had almost no wait as they designed it with many stalls. The venue holds around 2,000 concert goers. The sound system is very good as it should be from a venue designed from the ground up. The seating at the tables were reserved with 4 chairs spaced around a small table. It was nice to be able to put our drinks on a table versus holding them. At the end of the last song of the evening, Bonnie Raitt graciously allowed pictures. We will be returning in the future!

They also seemed to have stopped some of the earlier efforts to encourage non-automobile transportation (like the SABA-sponsored bike parking). I've attended a show here early on when it opened and parked my bike, but have not seen any more bike parking efforts. I wish the theater would do more to **clean up after themselves** or their guests for the neighborhood (such as a courtesy pick of the associated trash in a one block vicinity after a show). The additional trash, noise, and parking issues are a DIRECT result of the venue (not here before it existed) and Channel 24 showing some effort or courtesy for the neighborhood would be welcome. There are other reviews here about the parking issue and Reddit posts about the lack of neighborliness.

When you first walk in there's lots of local vendors in the Sacramento area promoting their goods and services. After that you walk through the corridor and see lots of local artist work and exhibits. There are days they're doing live demonstrations as well as live music and they had a cool raffle.There also was lots of food given away like a charcuterie cup, cheesecake and a lot of mixologist non-alcoholic of course. They were flexible about when we could drop stuff off and assisted us with carts for loading, unloading etc. They even had someone come in on a holiday (Labor Day) to open the place and let us clean up, because it would have been difficult for us to do it on the day we had previously arranged. A+ for service! We held our ceremony in the smaller of the two big rooms and the reception in the larger. We had a massive curtain made that was pinned up between the two rooms, to divide the space. This worked ok, though we could have executed it a little better. (Did I mention we planned the wedding from NYC and had friends and family set everything up? LOL). My husband typically orders the spicy orange chicken and has always been satisfied with it. Unfortunately, our most recent visit yesterday was a completely different experience. We came in around 11:15 AM on a Tuesday expecting a nice, casual dim sum date. I ordered har gow, siu mai, sticky rice, and shrimp balls with sweet and sour sauce, and we waited for more of the dim sum carts to come around. As usual, I ordered the spicy orange chicken for my husband. It was already off to a rough start when communication with our servers became difficult. There seemed to be a significant language barrier, and it was challenging to get our concerns across. Things went downhill when we received the "spicy" orange chicken. It was not spicy at all and, more importantly, it was severely overcooked--hard, dry, and honestly unchewable. We ordered chicken, not beef jerky. When we brought this up, the staff seemed fixated on the spice level rather than listening to the main issue. They insisted that the dish was already spicy and interpreted our concern as a request for "extra spicy." Both my husband and I can handle spice differently, but we could agree there was no spice present, and that wasn't even the primary problem--the texture was. They took the dish back, and we assumed it would be remade. Instead, it was quickly returned to us with some chili sauce sprinkled on top--the same exact overcooked chicken. I could tell it hadn't been remade because the same broken piece of chicken was still on the plate. At that point, we were frustrated and had lost our appetites. I took the dish to the register myself to explain that the issue was the texture and that the chicken was inedible. It finally seemed to click, and they apologized and offered to remake it, but by then, it felt too late. I'm not one to give third chances when something should have been handled correctly the first or second time. To their credit, they did not charge us for the dish and were apologetic, but the entire experience felt unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. That's not the level of service I expect when I'm paying to support a business. It's especially disappointing because this was meant to be our last visit before moving out of state, and it ended on such a sour note. Sadly, after this experience, I definitely do not see myself returning.
