For being Valentine's Day, it was relatively quiet other than two families dining together with really loud kids being allowed to run around the restaurant. The beer choices were great but we found the food to be mediocre at best. The chips and salsa could've been from Costco and our salad was fresh but lackluster. Great spot in the neighborhood. It's a little bit of whatever you're hungry for, they prob have it and it's always good. Can get rowdy (in a good way) on the weekends. Regardless, I was happy just drinkin' ma beers and musing as if the food was funny. * Buffalo Chicken Dip ($9.95 - 3 stars) 3 Cheeses ... and 3 stars ... with bits of Shredded Chicken and drizzles of Buffalo Sauce that might of been better as separate items than this mix. * The Italian Stallion Panini ($11.95 - 2 stars) Ain't gonna be no rematch with this sandwich because the Genoa Salami, Bacon, Mozzarella, Roma Tomato, and Sriracha Mayo was not a knockout. * Indoor Survival Hazy IPA ($6.75 - 5 stars) Everybody loves somebody .... and somebody's will love Everybody's Brewing (White Salmon, WA) cloudy ale dropping 6.75% abv and 35 ibu. * Leisure Tendencies Hazy IPA ($6.75 - 5 stars) Feelin' hazy 'n lazy? Well, relax and let your liver do all the work with this 7.20%-abv New England brew from Level Beer in Portland, OR. * Orange Whip "Juicy" Hazy IPA ($6.50 - 5 stars) Just like Tang, this Hazy IPA from Fortside Brewing (Vancouver, WA) actually "Contains 0% juice" ... yet, it is a "juicy" way to guzzle 60 ibu and 5.90% abv. Another reason, I'm a Mahoney's fan was the friendly, fast, and fabulous taptender behind the bar. Thank you for (seemingly) loving your job ... helping us all love some cold frosty beers on tap. Excellent beer list; adequate wine selection if you like the standard chardonnay. Cocktails were a stingy pour. Nachos were kind of drippy, fake cheese and fake guacamole. Hamburger and chips were fine. There's no wait service-- order at the bar. They will bring the food to the table. Very friendly crew. Loud atmosphere. Several sports TVs. Typical sports bar in a suburban neighborhood strip mall. Fun if you live or work nearby, but not a destination. read more

Our first visit to Mahoney's. Great place for a beverage with their extensive on-tap selections! Service was friendly, but one orders their food and beverages at the counter. Food is brought to the table, beverages one picks up at the counter. Great selection of pub fare food, but portions and presentation was pretty skimpy. Meaning, small and lacking full sized portions for the price. Definitely not enough to split between two people or any box to go ever. Our party of six all felt the food was good and freshly prepared, but the portions were not worth the price. We were all a little surprised when the food was delivered. We felt a Mahoney's visit would be great for a beverage, but probably won't add food in the future. Good seating inside and out. comfortable and atypical of a pub. This place is pretty new and the menu is limited for now. They have no fryer but offer some very nice tasting panini's. They also have a nice looking meat and cheese plate and of course the beer and wine gets four stars. I think as they get settled in they hopefully will offer more food choices but for now I give them three stars primarily because of the lack of good bar food. As they add more choices to their menu I would revisit my review...the service was excellent and they've got some very nice beer choices as well as wine choices and really deserve four stars. I just had a hard time finding anything I really wanted to eat. It's a bar folks...burgers, fries, wings and all that other grease soaked goodness. It's definitely worth a visit just for the beer and wine! read more

I am a big fan of their East Couve location and this place kicks it up a notch. Way more space, water and pretzel station, outdoor seating are some of the improvements over the original location. Great beer selection, great paninis, lots of TV screens and friendly service make for a successful business model. Tom and Ashleigh are on a roll. A nice addition to Felida/Hazel Dell and very close to Vancouver Lake. I love their Albuquerque turkey panini with Hatch chilis. Soooo Good. Check it out. read more

Finally made it in after driving by so many times. What a great place to go for food and has a great beer selection. They have 27 beers on tap and a great selection of food. Luke does a great job of taking care of customers. It's a nice low key spot that has something for everyone. read more

5 stars for being a nice, neighborhood bar to be able to walk to and get an extensive selection of wine, beer and cider. They have a great outdoor area that welcomes dogs and you can bask in the sun while sipping an imperial IPA. The only area of improvement would be their food menu, not because they don't have good food but because it is limited to light snacks and panini. I'd love to get a killer burger and fries sometime. We visited last night, after leaving another venue that had too many people, not enough tables and, certainly, given the weather - way too little in the way of air-conditioning. We live on the east side of town, but we were already in Hazel Dell and decided to stay on the west side. My husband has been into the east side location to pick up growlers before, but described it as pretty claustrophobic, so I haven't gone. This west side location is small, but airy. Not a ton of seating, but has enough and has additional seating outside. The tap list is amazingly extensive and diverse. I'm not much on ales, stouts, and the like - but my husband is. I usually find one or two ciders on tap, but they had a half a dozen or so at this place. Score! The Locust Cider Dark Cherry was amazing, very different (it's an off-dry) to what I normally like, but super tasty stuff. Initially, I was disappointed with the size and lack of diversity on the menu, but fear not - what they do make, they make extremely well. We ordered a GnG Club and an Italian Stallion, both paninis. I'm honestly not sure which I liked better. Also outfuckingstanding sourcing of produce. I don't remember the last time I ate out where a tomato actually tasted like a food and not a filler. Why 4* and not 5? I really wasn't expecting a place like this to have indoor seating for children and there was a rather loud young'un in there with us. I know we have been sat outside other, similar establishments when we've had our son with us, due to local statutes. We weren't really aiming for a family friendly establishment when we set out last night, but given this was the second place we ended up and I was downright hangry by the time we sat down here, we stayed. read more

Wow. I am impressed with this place. The drink selection/board was current and eclectic. Easy to read. Riley helps decide what to enjoy based on your preferences. He took the time to explain and offer samples. I highly recommend the Ginja Ninja cider. Crisp and refreshing. We ordered the caprese appetizer. Oh. Hell. Yes!! The balsamic vinegar blended perfect. Avocado toast...add the chili peppers and enjoy. Top off our first visit with Patrick who made the food coming out to make sure it was good. We have a new local hangout. So disappointed. Went here once with a friend before and liked it so I brought my husband and family. The bartender was curt and not welcoming. He lacked service skills. The nachos were probably the worst we've ever had. Everything came out of a can and the chicken was ice cold on them. Barbecue pork pizza tasted processed. Gave a star as the cider & beer was good. Live in Camas but word travels that Mahoney's Public House is a must visit. I agree 100%. Staff is friendly and attentive. Beer selection is top notch. Recommend giving the Cranberry Mule a try if you want a switch from beer. High recommend!!! read more

I've now been to both Grapes n' Growlers locations, and I can say this one is definitely my favorite of the two (considering I don't even live on this side of town). I stopped by around 1pm on a Monday for lunch and a cider, I was greeted by Whitley, the only person working at the time. Much to my delight, Wicked D's Baked apple Cider was on tap- as I'm not a beer person, and much prefer ciders I was even more delighted to see that this location had several more ciders on tap than the 192nd location. It was 30 minutes to happy hour, and Whitley made sure I knew this. I ordered the TBA panini and it was fantastic, perfectly crisped and the flavors melded wonderfully. Being a slower afternoon, I got to chat with Whitley a bit, she was knowledgeable as far as items on tap are concerned, and she made me feel so welcome here that this may become my weekly lunch spot in between classes. read more

My fiancé and I came here after we picked up our marriage license, and it was the perfect spot for a snack and celebratory drinks. The owners, staff, food, and drinks were just what we wanted. It was also so sweet to see the families there enjoying drinks and taking in the sunshine! We have been back a few times after getting married and it is definitely a new fav. and will bring our friends next time!
