However, I wasn't the biggest fan of our drinks. We got one drink that was sugar-free to accommodate our dietary needs, and it was not good at all. The passionfruit tea was pretty good. I would get it with less sugar because it's naturally very sweet. With that I wish they had more sugar-free options for those who need it and still want to enjoy a refreshing lemonade or tea. this spot is located right next to an apartment with very few parking spots in front. So I can't imagine how crowded it may get during busy peak hours. If you are not diabetic or you do not need sugar-free beverages then I would say it's worth trying. However, if you do have some dietary restrictions when it comes to sugar level, I do not recommend recommend.

Apparently this is a widespread international chain that originated in Taiwan, though I cannot remember seeing one before. I thought maybe they would be trying to pass off a low-quality product on a college town audience. However, I am pleased to report that it was as good as any bubble tea place I've been to in a while. My kumquat lemon tea came with delicious lychee jellies by default, and I experienced no difficulty or extra charge by opting for half sugar and half ice. These turned out to be good choices as my tea was just sweet enough and the little bit of ice was just enough to make my tea cold without wasting space. The flavor was quite complex and I enjoyed it to the last drop. Their tea menu is sizable and intriguing, and the people working here appeared to know what they were doing. Notably, they had waffles which smelled awfully delicious, but contrary to what my Yelptastic profile might suggest, I do not eat everything in sight, and I did not have room for a waffle. But the people who did get one looked happy.

There was no line, but we took our time filling out the sheets they have along the long counter when you walk in. You can choose a bowl, burrito, or salad, and I chose the bowl after much debate between that and a burrito. I'm glad I chose that because with all of the good toppings choices they had, the ones I chose would not have fit well in a burrito. I also think you get more when you choose the bowl. You can get up to 3 proteins (with tiered pricing) and I loved that avocado was not extra. We waited about 5 minutes after order until getting our food and ate there at a table in the corner. The place was clean and the meal was fresh, can't beat that!

The place itself is really cute & well taken care of. They had nice decor & some background music on. There's tons of seating & free wifi so it would be a great study or meeting spot. 5/5. First, the boba drink was delicious. I got a small, which definitely was small but still a decent size. I tend to drink fast so next time I'll probably get a larger size. 3/5. Second, the poke bowl was a nice size & good quality. The reason I'm not rating it super high is because personally, I'm not a huge fan of when sushi fish or any kind of dish tastes fishy & honestly not a huge fan of poker overall but I wanted a lighter dish this visit. The spice was lacking in the salmon & tuna & they both tasted a little fishy/had odd textures plus a concerning bright color which I dislike. However, everything was fresh & nice portions, but I would definitely prefer more sauce in the cups & probably a different choice of proteins. I also hate how the leftovers didn't keep. Everything wilted in the fridge & I had to throw away the majority of the bowl which was a waste of money. Next time, I will probably get something else. If you are a big fan of poke, I think you would enjoy their bowls because they are fresh & they allow you to pick a ton of toppings included in the price. But if you're like me & have a love hate relationship with them, I'd definitely get something else. The menu & ambiance were great & the staff was super nice. Definitely a place worth trying out!

Besides many confections offered here, you can also try their great variety of coffee drinks. Many of their products ingredients are sourced from Ecuador. CHOCO COFFEE: Their blend of "Choco Coffee," isn't named after chocolate coffee. Instead, it's named after Ecuadorian, Choco Toucan bird. I bought, "Comunidad Blend," to brew at home. I've already brewed couple of cups and OMG!!! It offers notes of Dark Chocolate, Pecans, Pink Grapefruit and Guava. As I've been sipping on it, its whole beans are washed, well balanced, offer rich and bold flavors. You can taste the home roots. PARKING: It can be tricky to get in here. It's located off busy, S. They have a super impressive menu with the usual bubble tea offerings, fruit teas, Yakult drinks, and shakes, but they also have baked goods like muffins and donuts and banh mi! Like the other Ding Teas, you can customize the drinks to however much percent sugar and ice you'd like. The drinks are definitely not consistent and it depends on who is making the drink but I've always gotten pretty decent drinks. I was really impressed with their banh mi. I got the special combination banh mi and it honestly was better than a lot of banh mi's that I've gotten in Atlanta. Prices are pretty steep, but I guess that's inflation. There's ample seating in the Ding Tea with booth style seating along the wall and bar seats along the window. Decor was very simple. There's a lot of supplies visibly out though that kind of makes it look tacky. Music was also kind of loud, so I'd probably recommend coming here more for a take-out kinda deal. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend Ding Tea as a decent bubble tea spot in Athens!
