My wife and I stopped in for a beverage while in Watkinsville. Don't judge the book by the cover- the inside is nice, and they have a little bit of outdoor seating as well. Slow service and lkewarm hot drinks. Had to have them remade. Second thing is nobody seemed to pick up customer trash left at tables.

Always a pleasure walking in. It is more than a good cup of coffee or tea. A relaxing atmosphere with the buzz of conversations from the variety of people who you see here. College students to seniors....bike riders....to truck drivers. A niche for everyone. They grind to your liking your coffee beans. The baristas know the coffee particulars and eagerly answer questions. If you do no do coffee the chai spiced or vanilla spiced latte has a creamy smooth texture that leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth. Make sure you have room for a muffin or the savory berry crumble bar. The only problem with it is the huge. So rich there is no way one should eat it all at once....but I did (again). Love this shop. Small town feel with great coffee. I met the manager who was absolutely awesome and we talked shop. Needs a better pastry selection but coffee is good. Hopefully if you are reading this you realize Starbucks coffee is over roasted crap. If so, you will love this place. read more

Leaving Athens to get to a work meeting in Thomasville Georgia. I was already running short on time but I decided to order 2 bagels with cream cheese and some coffee. Not only were they low on products but I open the bag and there are no napkins. That was only the beginning because my bagels didn't even have cream cheese on them. I don't like to waste food so I ate the bare bagels. Worst $19 that I have ever spent. At least they toasted it for me. I love Jittery Joes other locations and I was excited to try this one near my sons swim lesson. Unfortunately, employees need more training. Parking was nill. And, while I appreciate that this business needs to keep people moving, as does every other restaurant/coffee shop, there are disturbing signs posted on all tables labeled "please read" see picture. As an F&B manager I find this kinda wierd and a turn off (I purchase two drinks and a snack). Really? A notice on every table? Lastly, punch cards for this location are different than any of the others. Well, they look exactly the same but they won't punch yours if it is from another jittery joes. I didn't get an explanation so maybe this is a different owner? One that needs more experience in the industry perhaps? Not impressed. read more

Needed a place to squat for an hour or so while the hubs went to a meeting. Nice quiet spot. I ordered an iced Caramello and it was awesome. Not too sweet and not too strong in the espresso department. Staff was friendly and fun. Chose a seat facing the window and worked away. Music played quietly on the background. Really relaxing hour. Prices are the same as any other coffee shop (around $3.50 per cup), BUT... you can visit the actual roasting company in Athens, GA and see why! This location has a very friendly staff. They are very helpful.. There are plenty of areas to study, work, visit, etc. I have bought coffee to go, sat with my children to play games and drink hot chocolate (they were great about splitting the cup in two and adding whipped cream). They are very accommodating. The staff is very knowledgeable... Keep it up! read more

Better than starbucks in my opinion. Check out the brews they have with terrapin. Pretty good!
