Max Sushi -- located inside Community Craft House -- is an unexpected sushi gem. I wasn't sure what…read moreto expect from sushi in a craft beer bar, but everything totally exceeded my expectations. I tried the Eel Avocado, Spicy Tuna, Philadelphia Roll, New York Roll, and their specialty Volcano Roll -- and each one was delicious in its own way. The fish was super fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the rolls were well-balanced and generously filled. The Volcano Roll was definitely a standout -- warm, spicy, and full of flavor without being overpowering. It's such a cool setup: you can sip on a local beer from the Craft House and enjoy top-tier sushi in a chill, casual environment. The staff was friendly and fast, and it all just felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for high-quality sushi in a laid-back, unexpected spot, Max Sushi at Community Craft House is a must.

Ok but why not have a sign that tells customers that. The sushi was all rice, I mean it would have fed an army. Quality of fish good, not great. Can't understand how some reviews claim this as the best sushi in Charleston. Clearly you don't get out enough. Definitely won't be back!

They have great food, exceptional customer service and clean restrooms. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the cutest, handsome little boy, Quinn. He sold the whole experience. He was an exceptional representative of how awesome this place is. I highly recommend it. Way to go Brentwood for putting this here!

Visiting from out of town from Las Vegas, and I couldn't wait to check out these indoor courts!…read moreThere are 8 courts inside. We registered beforehand online for the Beginners open play from 2 to 4 on Monday. We were disappointed to find out that nobody else had registered to play on Monday. We were happy to have Tracy (an employee) come join us for a few games. We had an absolute beginner with us and two of us that have been playing for a good amount of time. So we really needed a 4th player! So thanks for joining us Tracy! This place is way more than just a pickleball business. There are two bars inside and many self-pour electronic beer dispensers. They serve food, although I didn't get to see the menu because they were hidden behind the bar and none were on display anywhere else. They have arcade games lined up along the middle of the venue. I saw a bunch of kids upstairs on the 2nd level playing video games on a TV monitor. Speaking of TVs, there are many upstairs to watch sports/shows. The upstairs is filled with tables and chairs to eat & hang-out. I hear they have some fun game nights for families on Friday nights. I heard this place has been open for two years. The staff was very friendly. They have 2 dartboards inside located in the back corner, and a smaller wall with more automated beer pour stations. I wish we could've checked out the Margarita Monday play! They have open play from 6 to 10 AM during the week, we're gonna go back and check that out. it was about a 40 minute drive from Charleston to this location for us. We will definitely be back to play while I'm in town! Try this place out for air conditioned play during the hot & humid summer!
