I came last week for a cleaning and from the moment I walked in the door I felt great about the place. Min greeted me warmly and as I walked in, I noticed a baby bouncing around behind the counter. I don't have children myself, but I am so happy to see a business normalize having a child around because childcare is too expensive and complicated for many folks, plus it's so important to see a child have an opportunity to have quality bonding time with their parents. When I went to get x-rays, Jen was efficient and warm, and made sure I had what I needed to feel comfortable. I do t have dental anxiety myself, but I appreciated that Dr. Khalil and Jen checked in on me often to ensure that I was comfortable. At today's appointment, I got a deep cleaning and some cavities filled. Between Dr. Khalil and Jen, their bedside manner was calm and comforting , and I felt very at ease. I have recommended this dentist to my spouse and he's coming here for a second opinion because I feel very strongly about this dentist office. Oh, and they have a BLM sign out front, which is definitely the right move in today's day and age.

We scheduled a follow-up two weeks out for some fillings but then they cancelled and rescheduled this follow up 3 times. I will not be returning to this office after the third cancellation. This is especially frustrating for someone who has to notify their workplace in advance. Edit: I went to another dentist in San Leandro who told me that I didn't have cavities and didn't need the fillings. Saved myself 200 bucks by getting a second opinion.

I had been at my dentist the previous week for a filling and he said it was time for a cleaning. So I thought I would try a new place. Dr Dahiya did the exam and x-rays and told me that I needed a deep cleaning. She also said that I had a cavity in number six. Seeing as how the filling I had just had was on number seven I had my doubts. Dr Dahiya said they didn't want to do the regular cleaning because I needed a deep cleaning which would cost $1200. So I went back to my regular dentist and had the cleaning. They said my teeth look much better than they had the previous year and that no I did not have a cavity on number six and definitely did not need a deep cleaning. What Country Fair also missed was the fact that I have small cavities on 21 and 22 that are visible to the eye. Dr. Dahiya never mention that. This service was a lie. Plain and simple a hustle for services I did not need. A cavity that does not exist and a cleaning that is not necessary. In fact deep cleanings done when you don't need them are damaging.

Not because I'm looking for a luxury office with fancy music, but because he is an amazing dentist and gives quality work. He has over 30+ years of experience. His son and wife also practice dentistry. He's conservative. That's the type of work I want. I don't want every filling turned into a root canal or crown. For the yelper who complained of his work, its unfortunate she experienced that, however all her reviews are completely negative and she bashes everything. Some people just can't be satisfied. And I don't know that it's his fault if you're not taking care of a filling that turned into something more. I brought a friend here who was told she needed 6 "small" fillings and Dr Jang did not find any decay AT ALL. Dentists make their money on treatment, not regular cleanings. It's common to leave an office with a $5-7k treatment plan., but was the work necessary or is the dentist trying to pay off his new Tesla? Why would anyone want that sort of dentist? I referred all my friends and family to him and they still continue to see him. Quality work and a Doctor you can trust. He takes his time and listens to your concerns. I had my bleach trays made with him and he orders me the bleach syringes as well. Definitely one of the greatest dentists! I plan on being his patient regardless of how far I have to drive.

She took x-rays and was able to diagnose why the crown cracked and proceeded to explain thoroughly what was needed to be done to prevent a similar problem with the crown in the future. Of course, the crown had to be replaced. Dr. Pham is a very caring dentist and even texted me the next day after a previous appointment with her. Needless to say...I am very pleased to have Lumi Dental Studio serve my dental needs and a big shoutout to Dr. Pham for being so professional and caring as I assume that she probably treats all her patients the same way.

I wish I could give zero stars. My husband had a terrible experience with this dental office--they…read moreare incompetent and push unnecessary procedures. He emailed and called multiple times to get his dental X-rays but received no response. When he finally reached them, they didn't even send all his records, forcing his new dentist to take a new set. They also recommended numerous inlays and fillings, which we now realize were unnecessary--another dentist confirmed this. He did get one onlay done with them, but it fell off just four months later. When we called their emergency line on a Saturday, no one even responded or followed up even days later. The onlay cracked a few days later. Another dentist confirmed that putting an onlay on a molar is generally bad practice for someone who grinds and it's inevitable for the onlay to crack. Even the process of getting the onlay was a nightmare--every appointment was delayed, and their poor technique made the procedure take much longer than necessary. Now, because of their incompetence, a larger part of his tooth has been removed unnecessarily, and the onlay is cracked. This entire experience has been disappointing, frustrating, and expensive.
