I will start with this : Dr. Monika Dahiya is a wonderful dentist but she left this office months ago. PEOPLE please stay away and don't do business with these people. I was a patient for years and spent thousands of dollars out of pocket because I don't have a dental insurance. I came this week for a regular cleaning and the over charged me by 150% of the mark up, that's ridiculous. They charged me $273 for cleaning instead of $125 what it normally is. The called me to schedule and appointment and they didn't even bother on the phone to mention that the price for a regular cleaning went up by only 150%. They aslso didn't even do a good cleaning job, it took them less than 15 minutes. They also lied to me last 2 times I came saying that Dr. Monika Dahiya still worked there even though she already left. Dr. Monika Dahiya is the only reason I was loyal to this office despite the rest of the stuff being unprofessional and literally ripping you off. Never again I will come near that place. Be careful at this company! I bought a Groupon for this company that was supposed to have an exam, a set of dental x-rays and a cleaning. It was the cleaning that I really wanted. I had been at my dentist the previous week for a filling and he said it was time for a cleaning. So I thought I would try a new place. Dr Dahiya did the exam and x-rays and told me that I needed a deep cleaning. She also said that I had a cavity in number six. Seeing as how the filling I had just had was on number seven I had my doubts. Dr Dahiya said they didn't want to do the regular cleaning because I needed a deep cleaning which would cost $1200. So I went back to my regular dentist and had the cleaning. They said my teeth look much better than they had the previous year and that no I did not have a cavity on number six and definitely did not need a deep cleaning. What Country Fair also missed was the fact that I have small cavities on 21 and 22 that are visible to the eye. Dr. Dahiya never mention that. This service was a lie. Plain and simple a hustle for services I did not need. A cavity that does not exist and a cleaning that is not necessary. In fact deep cleanings done when you don't need them are damaging. read more

Good luck getting an appointment. Country Faire Dental Group was assigned to me by my insurance Anthem Blue Cross. After calling multiple times, I finally scheduled an appointment for a routine cleaning and x-rays. However, my appointment was canceled the day of the scheduled appointment. I made efforts to reschedule. Called multiple times during business hours. Nobody answers the phone. I left a detailed voicemail to schedule an appointment and NEVER received a call back. I tried calling one last time today...and again, no answer. My next call was to Anthem Blue Cross to change my assigned provider. read more

If I could I would leave ZERO stars. First time I went there they quoted my son's cavity $200 each. He had 2, so $400. Later we learned that they were talking about the white filling. My son is 9 years old, the teeth on the back are still baby teeth and because they will come out we asked for the silver filling. They quoted us in $65 per silver and when I called my insurance they informed me that the silvers should be FREE. I conferenced the insurance with the dentist over the phone and they were quick on changing their story. Only then they said, "oh, we were NOT charging for the silver, we were charging for an option coat on top of the silver..." I was upset and I called them again to ask for more information and the lady on the phone, Carmen, pretended to be called Jennifer - she would say, "this is not Carmen, this is Jennifer, Carmen is on the phone." I hang up, knowing that it was Carmen, to never call them again. One week later I get a call from them, another lady, to confirm an old appointment. Of course I said I wasn't going there, but I was curious and asked, "is there any Jennifer that works there?" and the girl said, "I don't know..." How can they not know? Found this place through Groupon they had a great special for about $29 for a dental exam, x-rays and a cleaning. Didn't have a problem with the cleaning or x-rays but the exam was an issue they wanted to do unnecessary seizures like telling me one of my front teeth that I had a prior root canal will start changing colors and probably eventually fall out. Telling me I had cavities that I needed to repair right away. Needless to say went back to my original dentist they confirmed I had two cavities that needed to be repaired the others were exactly the same from two years prior with no changes. And my front tooth was exactly the same as well. In my opinion they are all about money even if they have to use scare tactics to get money from you and over charge for that procedure. Dr. Shibani is professional, warm, friendly and really gets to know her patients. Every time I see Dr. Shibani, she remembers my entire dental history and asks me how I'm doing since my last so and so procedure. I'm just sad that she is now located in San Ramon and too far of a commute for me. I hope the San Ramon community appreciates her as much as I do! I just scheduled a dental exam at Country Faire Dental Group in San Ramon, as I hadn't been to the dentist in a whopping 2.5 years or so. What Incredible Service ! They took full X-rays and did a comprehensive exam, which clearly showed I had 3 small cavities and an old silver filling that needed replacement, and that I had 4 chipped teeth that should be repaired. That's typically a lot of dental work! Dr. Monica Dahiya kept my butt in the seat, numbed me for a deep and thorough teeth cleaning, completed that, then went right into the 4 fillings AND totally did cosmetic dental work on my chipped teeth !!!! All of this cost far less than one would expect - less than $1,000 of which my insurance covered 80%. I could have seriously spent $500 to $1,000 elsewhere just for the cosmetic work on my chipped teeth !! The Dental assistant, Marcella was a doll, as was the receptionist Monica. And Dr. Dahiya is not only an incredible dentist, she's a totally kind, sweet woman as well. Incredible Dental practice ! read more

Dr. Dahiya is the best!! I brang my 14 year old in for a cleaning. She explained to me my daughter will be needing some fillings. My daughter is frightened of the dentist since she had a bad experience in the past. I assured her that she will be fine. Dr. Dahiya and Dee took very good care of my daughter, she did not even need to inject her with lidocaine. When she finished, my daughter actually was surprised how quick and painless it was! I recommend staying away from here. My list of complaints: 1. You never seem to know which doctor you will be seeing, as the ones who saw me was never the one listed on my dental plan. 2. After you see the dentist, if you need some work beyond a cleaning and check up, a lady from the front office will pull you into a small little room up front. I felt I was talked into several unneccessary treatments and expensive upgrades from the standard insurance covered materials and services. 4. Long waits - clearly scheduling is an issue as they'll call you back, only to have you sit in the chair for 30 minutes before a Dr. can come see you. 3. I unfortunately had to get a root canal once. As part of the process they stick long pins into the canal. My canals were slightly unique, so the doctor wanted to take x-rays with the pins in my tooth. I agreed. They did all this without using any sort of diaghram to prevent anything from falling down my throat. Long story short, they referred me to a specialist to complete the procedure and he was shocked that they did this without a diaghram. Needless to say, I've switched dentists since and am just happy they didn't kill me. read more

I should have read the other reviews on Yelp a long time ago. I had the same insurance issues that many others have had. They overcharge for services and state you need services that are actually not required. One example, my wife and are were both told we needed root canals - after switching to another dentist, we were told that root canals were not required at all! Stay away from County Fair Dental. Stay away from this place! They tricked my husband in paying $800 for a deep cleaning WITH insurance coverage. Dr Pannu is half that price without insurance covered. These people are crooks. I called in because a cavity was bothering me so they had me come in. The dentist then said she has no time to fill my cavity but has time to do a cleaning. They then had someone sit down with me to go over $900 of work that needs to be done WITH insurance coverage. WOW dentist really know how to take your money. I realized other places are cheaper. They did go over silver fillings and white fillings. My insurance covers 3 silver fillings for free. They however wanted me to get the white fillings at $100 each. Without writing to much as other do I'd like to say thank you for your professional help. There are many dentists out there but this one has a clear pricing structure and does a wonderful job. Parking is great as well as the service. I've just gotten a cleaning and an exam and in comparison to other dentist I felt I receive a more honest opinion and the procedures have been affordable and very reasonable prices. I also had a small filling done last time and it was quick and easy. Again, I love the direct pricing structure. I went for a check up and cleaning, not only they refuse to clean my teeth, they try to charge me $1600 for some mambo jumbo bullshits. I knew what were wrong with my teeth, my wife is a DA, at a clinic, the reason I go here because of the convenience and it is close to where I live .When I left I felt like a Whore, no body thanked me said see next time, or have a good day,the front desk lady said ((Sorry)), I am not sure what she by that but I think I know she was referring to the dentist that did not want to help me. My experiences have been very good. I got a groupon and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Monika Dahiya. Dr. Dahiya seemed to be very nice, caring, explained to me nicely what is going on and answered all my questions very nicely. The nurse who cleaned my teeth was also very friendly. They asked me beforehand if I want to go ahead and do a procedure, so I had the options to opt put on things I don't want to do and don't want to be charged. I trust them and I will schedule my next regular dental checkup with Dr. Dahiya. The facility is also clean and tidy. I would recommend them. read more

Best dental experience ever! I bought a Groupon for an exam and cleaning. Although I had to wait for almost a month for the appointment, it was well worth it. The staff accommodated me on a Saturday and when I arrived, were so friendly. Everyone was respectful and made you feel at ease. Going to the dentist can be quite uncomfortable, but I was immediately made to feel right at home. The Dr. was informative and thorough. I recently moved to East Bay and was looking for a reliable dentist in the neighborhood . I came across Dr. Raja on yelp.com. I was nervous initially but Dr. Raja's warm, friendly, gentle and informative approach sure helped me calm down and go for the dental exam followed by the required dental procedure I was wanting to get done for a while. She even called that evening to check on me, making sure I wasn't in pain as I was very nervous prior to the procedure. I have never written a yelp review before, but, I came across Dr. Raja on yelp and the reviews I read from the patients helped me find a good, professional & caring dentist. I don't usually give 5 stars but in this case they deserve it! My insurance changed at work and my regular dentist no longer accepted it so I called this office and from the very first call I got good vibes. The front office is very professional. Once I was called to the back the assistant was very nice and educated me on why I needed a certain procedure. Dr. Dahiya answered all of my questions (there were many questions btw) and completed the procedure with no delays. Not only do they take my insurance but the office as a whole is very comforting. I've set an appointment at 10:30am and when I got my Uber going to the clinic, I know that I'm not gonna make it so I called them and leave a voice message to inform them that I'm still coming. Surprisingly, when I arrived I told them I have an appointment and I called earlier that I'll be late for 20mins, they asked me if I talked to someone or what (seems like they don't check their voice mails and get back to. You as soon as possible), I said I left a voice mail. I understand and apologize to them that I'm late and I understand that there will be other patients coming but they just told me to sit down and wait so I assumed they will attend me or something. Then they asked me to fill up the forms. The staff kept updating me that I will be attended in few minutes, 20 mins, 10 mins, until I was waiting for more than an hour already. And the guy that just came in I assume he's a staff too, ask me if what do I need I told him I have an appointment and I was late so literally ill wait until they're available to attend me. And then he asked me to just Re schedule, the other staff said oh she has a a Groupon. And then the guy was like do you wanna Re schedule another time because they need to eat lunch and they're still working on other patient. I was like I'm waiting here already for more than an hour, if that's the SOP that they don't think they can insert me to the schedule by that day, they should have told me when I arrive because I don't mind Re scheduling but what frustrates me is they just let me kept waiting till more than an hour, and told me to re schedule after wasting my time and money to Uber going back and forth. Anyways I asked for a refund. Don't wanna ever come back to this dental clinic. Although we purchased Groupon it doesn't mean you can just ignore us and let us wait without assurance. read more

My insurance switched to Deltacare, USA and after visiting several in the San Leandro area(close towhere I live) was taken aback at the lack of cleanliness in the two offices I visited.I am not a neat freak) I actually walked out of one as the trash bins in the offices were over-flowing with bloody gauze pads and the restrooms were dirty. I asked for the copy of my license back and left. When I found Country Faire, it was a miracle. Love this dental office!!! I have a PPO plan and for some reason when I went to visit some other office in San Ramon they wanted to charge me for what a routine visit and cleaning is, from out of my pocket. They said my plan was "out of network" so I came to Country Fair Dental instead. The service was wonderful! And I didn't hve to pay anything out of pocket. If i could give 0 star i would! First impression was that the staff was not warm and welcoming. The front desk assistant is snub! Here's a clipboard. Fill it out. It was my first time here and the Dental Assistant, she look like she has all the problem in the world! She did even say Hi or anything and never explain anything about the procedure (e.g. Is the paste safe to swallow?) I had to prompt her with questions, but she pretended not hearing any.. I am used to my own awesome dentist that guides me through each step as he is doing a procedure. I was all set and evrything is ready. I know the The first Session will take only half an hour or an hour but guess what, another Dental Assistant came and talk to the Dr. and left me to the DA and instead of attending to me she attended the patient seated next to the chair im seating. So the DA attended to me instead, she polished my teeth prior to the actual cleaning (what the hell is that!) its like, cleaning your toes prior to cleaning your face! and waited for another 30 mins, so when the dr was finished with her other "So Precious" Patient all i've got is "oh sorry." What the hell?! She clearly should have review her ethics! What kind of professionalism do they really have? This never happens at my old dentist. read more

Don't trust this sweet and friendly Dr. Raja. I went to her a few years back for a cleaning, and she tried to get as much money out of me as possible. She told me I needed over $7,000 of dental work done over, that a previous Dentist had done, because it was done wrong. Since then I have seen two different Dentist's, and both said the previous work done was not a problem unless I was concerned with the way it looked but the work was done right. She had her staff do the dirty work by selling me with fear, and that they would give me a great discount. Dr Raja told me that I needed a lot of work done that I did not need, and she said it with a sweet and friendly smile. Get a 2nd opinion, you'll save yourself a lot of pain and money. I signed up for Dental insurance and didn't realize I have a HMO plan! So they referred me here. OMG, this place has you signed pages and pages of WAIVERS! This should give you a clue that they are not trustworthy! My first appointment, they took so many xrays, I think I am going to glow for 2 yrs! Then they pointed out that all my fillings needed to be replaced and I had a cavity and cracked crown! The dentist did the cleaning, which I am used to a dental hygenist doing it and my teeth were still stained when I left, which never happened at my old dentist! I am a dental scardy cat, and told them, but they did nothing to calm me down. I will never come back and will highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new dentist here to never walk in the door! This DDS offered a groupon for exam, xray and cleaning, which is great way to check out a Dentist. However her whole approach was to backtrack and say that following her exam i may have to have a special cleaning which would cost money and not be viable for the groupon i paid for. I thought this was a pretty underhanded way to bump people up in their payments and asked the front desk how often people needed this 'special' cleaning. Almost always. SHe may be a good Dentist, i don't know, but the integrity of the process for getting new clients is all about what we can do for her, not the other way around. I am certainly not transferring my practice to her because customer care and satisfaction is as important as making a buck. read more

I really wish I could do -1 for rating. I normally don't have the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to so people know what's going on. It amazes me that this place has been receiving bad reviews for so many years and still continues to be dysfunctional. Except for the fact that they call and remind you about appointments, there really isn't one good thing about this place. They pester you with appointment requests, offer you services that are unnecessary and are VERY inefficient. Total RIPOFF!! If you care about your teeth, PLEASE STAY AWAY.
