Went to Lumi Dental Studio yesterday on short notice and was pleased they were able to see me the same day. I had a problem with a crown cracked on its side and saw Dr. Pham. She took x-rays and was able to diagnose why the crown cracked and proceeded to explain thoroughly what was needed to be done to prevent a similar problem with the crown in the future. Of course, the crown had to be replaced. Dr. Pham is a very caring dentist and even texted me the next day after a previous appointment with her. Needless to say...I am very pleased to have Lumi Dental Studio serve my dental needs and a big shoutout to Dr. Pham for being so professional and caring as I assume that she probably treats all her patients the same way. read more

Total scam. After seeing their ad for $1,888 total dental implant, I made an appointment, filled out their endless online form and went there. Dr. Leon Chung said that is a click bate. their price starts with that, if tooth extraction, no bone graph, not if your tooth root too deep etc. The real price will be over $4,000. When I told him he is not honoring his advertised deal, he said we are not good match, he will not even give me a quote. He asked money for the Xray that he said that was free when I first talk to him. He refused to send the Xray over the email, asked me to come next week to pick it up. He is unexperienced, young person with no manners. Stay away from his office. read more

Went in for a deep cleaning, crown and some fillings. Dr. Chung and his team were very professional and had great bedside manner. They made the process less agonizing by constantly checked in making sure I was comfortable and talked through what the next steps were. I was discriminated against and urged to find a periodontist because I have bipolar (AKA they don't want to work on someone with bipolar because they think it's beneath them) They sent me an email saying this otherwise no one would know how bad they messed up! They kept trying to make it an issue of price. That being said, they were accurate in their prognosis in saying I had periodontal disease so they can have their 1 star. Dr. Leon Chung (who got his license end of 2017); ADVERTISES he has "EXTENSIVE training in dental IMPLANTS, dental extraction tissue & bone regeneration." I called & asked his receptionist (prior to choosing his office); with some Q&A 1. How many implants has he done? A. She replied "quite often". 2. Q. How were his results? A. "Great no issues. He has over 100's positive results" I explained my situation, that a prior dentist had caused an upper front (good tooth) to break with a too tight cosmetic veneer/cap & now I need an implant. I also filled out a lot of paper work prior to visit, with same explanation as well. At Lumi Dental studio, they took an x-ray of the tooth. Then Dr. Leon Chung told me: I would be referred to another dentist for extraction part.... However later the receptionist informed me, he would also be referring me to another dentist for the next procedure as well. I asked Dr. Leon Chung why wouldn't he be doing what he advertises? He replied: he didn't feel he could do the job well enough to make me happy, because it was a front tooth. He said if it were a back tooth, no problem. But a front tooth he didn't feel comfortable doing it. He also expressed, I should be grateful he wanted to pass me off to other dentists. I concluded he doesn't want to do any work that might risk him receiving a 5 star review. However that is NOT what he advertises. What a waste of my time! read more

She took her time to explain everything to me so I could understand and make informed decisions about my oral health. I love that this is a small, family run business. I called Delta to assign me a new dental office and I saw the reviews and chose Lumi Dental Studio. Delta rep sent the verification to the office and told me that it is effective immediately today. Later I called the office and the lady Tes took the phone telling me the other way that it could take 1-2 weeks to process (what?) and suggest me to pay cash if I need to see doctor before that. This is a scam. I then asked to talk to the owner about this and was told not in the office. She also tried to sell their own program to me who has insurance. Ridiculous! read more

I had the most unprofessional experience with a dentist today. 6 months ago Dr. Leon Chung had given me a suggestion/proposal to replace one of my perfectly fine teeth with a crown (I was there for a cleaning and no other issues). I told him outright that I had no issues with my tooth. He went ahead and sent a cost estimate. Since I did not have any issues with my tooth, I refused to do any work on it. When I went back for cleaning today, he started berating me because I didn't follow his suggestion and kept on saying I am going to have a rotten teeth etc.. in a totally unprofessional manner. I reminded him that he shouldn't be talking like that and that it was very unprofessional. He was taken back; said sorry and then started cleaning my teeth; no bib, no tool set up nothing. He just scrubbed by teeth so hard, it was hurting and bleeding. I had stuff all over my face, clothes; it was unbelievably bad experience! He finished cleaning in 10 MINUTES (!! ) and left me with a mouthful of cleaning stuff and said "you are done" you can go. The total time spend on the chair, including his quick inspection and cleaning was 15 minutes!! I had to go to the bathroom and clean my mouth, face etc. In my 43 years of going to dentists in the US, I have never experienced anything so bad with a medical professional. Will never go back to this place again. read more

Dr. Pham is an excellent Dentist. Had a split tooth and she came in on her day off to check it out and give me options. Decided to go with a crown and started the work the same day. Made sure no pain, and was comfortable. High tech equipment, and procedures. 3D Scanner of teeth for the lab seems more accurate than rubber molds. Efficient, caring, fast, and no pain. We messed up on our dental plan this year!!! Found out we got enrolled to DMO instead of PPO!! It was really a pain to find a decent dentist within the DMO network. I spent a lot of time researching , checked review and rating on Yelp, Google etc. Finally found Dr. Chung & Dr. Pham. They are the only dental office which has good review! My son and I visited the office twice. First visit was for cleaning. The second time, my son had some filling work done. The office is small but cozy. Very clean and neat! Equipments and tools are all new and advanced! Although it's a small office, they even have the full panel x-ray machine. I like how the cleaning was done by the dentist, Dr. Leon Chung. He is very patient and spent time to explain things in detail & illustrate . He seems to be very honest, reasonable and caring too! For the filling work, I think Dr. Chung did a good job. I think he is very skillful & efficient! My highschooler chose not to use anesthesia even though it was his first time having filling done. He probably didn't want to get numb and had to wait for a few hours before he can eat and talk. Anyway, he didn't complain any pain or discomfort at all. And the work was nicely done in a short time.
