First off, Cheryl is amazing and so easy to work with; she cares and is so understanding. Having her over for this party has literally been 6 years in the making (she was originally set to be there for my daughter's 1st birthday party-- but COVID). Fast forward to last year, and once again we had to reschedule (due to getting COVID). Still, she let us reschedule and we were SO incredibly happy to finally have them today. They were friendly, professional, sweet to the kids at the party and they completely set up and took down their set up without needing anything from me. Now, the cotton candy was no JOKE! They offered a variety of flavors and the favorite of the party seemed to be green river. The kids (and adults) were stoked with it. Side note, I was half expecting the little pieces of cotton candy to fly similar to the at home cotton candy machine I have at home but everything was pretty contained! Also, don't get me started on the popcorn!!! They offered different sizes (small and large) and had different toppings and seasonings! People could customize their popcorn with seasoning like garlic, elote, Parmesan, cheddar cheese, and MORE! I was worried they wouldn't have availability since it was so last minute, but we were able to book with him! His replies were always very fast (within 20 minutes) and he made the booking process so quick and easy. Their prices are very reasonable as well! On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! Even the grouchiest guest can't help but smile and laugh when they create a special waist-wearing unicorn or Ghostbuster backpack and hose! This past Saturday we were lucky to have the third brother, Gideon, perform his magic and he arrived on time, easy set up, all prepared, dressed professionally, very friendly and amazing talking with the keiki. Gideon brought a large board with pictures of various balloon art to choose from and makes it easier on the guest which moves the line faster. Or, we've always asked if he can make a Ninja Turtle or Pluto which may not be on the board and most likely he can! One time someone asked for a monkey and he created a large palm tree with a little brown monkey hanging from it holding a banana! That's the extent these guys go to amaze and delight! I paid for the day of coordination package which included handling the contracts and communication 3 months in advance. I had a difficult time even getting a response back from Richel. It would take her weeks at a time to respond. And a couple vendors had trouble connecting with her as well. I actually emailed Richel a couple weeks before our wedding, stating that my experience working with them was subpar and asked if I needed to be reminded of the expectations, which I never got a response. On the day of the wedding, Richel and a team member were 20ish minutes late. And when they did arrive they were both holding iced drinks. Vendors were actually looking for Richel and asking where she was. I wasn't asked a single question on our wedding day. If that's what you want, fine. But I had mentioned wanting a certain use of rented furniture and it wasn't set up how I wanted. Which included, having to move furniture during the ceremony in order to accommodate our unity symbol. Also, our cake pops were out in the sun, melting. After the ceremony, food had not been saved for us, and when we went up to the table everything had been eaten. At our reception, ice for our drink buckets had melted and wasn't refilled so by the time we had gotten there the drinks weren't cold. I didn't ask for this to happen, but one would hope that your coordinator would assist with things like this. One positive. I do want to highlight the gentleman helping on the FTG team the day of our event. He was pointed out by many guests as very hard-working, personable and helpful and we were very appreciative of his services and kindness. He helped get items into the car at the end of the night and handed me a beverage or two after our ceremony. These are just little things that would have made a difference in our day, made a lasting negative impression for me.

Richel met with us before we committed to working with For the Good to get a sense of our vision for our wedding, our personal values and interests, and us as a couple. We connected with Monique shortly after to start wedding planning. Over the next 6+ months, we continued to meet in 2-3 month intervals to identify and select vendors and communicated via email in between. They gave us excellent suggestions about vendors to work with based on their previous experiences. We came to Oahu twice to visit in person, and they arranged a venue tour to plan the layout of our wedding. They even came to our tastings and took notes on dishes that we wanted to add or to change. We met at more frequent intervals leading up to our wedding date to finalize the timeline, design, and other details. Regarding our wedding day, the For the Good team made the day as stress-free as possible. They took care of all of the logistics and worked with all the vendors from set up to take down. When we arrived at our venue, everything looked exactly like we'd planned, down to the smallest details at our welcome table and the wedding arch. It was honestly even more beautiful than we'd hoped for. We ended up running a little bit behind on our timeline during the wedding itself because the speeches ran long, but the team worked to get us back on track to give us plenty of time to party with our guests. Most importantly, my husband and I got to focus on spending time with our family and friends throughout our big day.
