Likely the best Thai food in the CSRA. I have ordered takeout from Mai Thai multiple times and it is consistently delicious. The fried foods (spring rolls and dumplings) and not greasy, but light and crispy. The curry has a mild heat even when you order no spice, so just keep that in mind. Overall, best Thai food in Augusta, especially for take-out.

Can to try mai thai after 2 people had mentioned it to make like 2 weeks apart. Went on a Thursday around 6 or 630 and they were not super busy. It was a bit hot inside they do have ceiling fans. The server was nice and our food came out pretty quickly. I loved my pad see ew with shrimp. This is usually my test if I like a Thai restaurant. I also got the massaman curry which wasn't bad but not quiet what I was expecting. It was definitely a very large portion that lasted me 2 or 3 meals with rice. They have 4 spice levels so you can customize to your preference. Will be visiting again.

Went here for lunchtime since it had been nearly a decade since we've been here and remember it being good. The inside was very authentic feeling for the theme of the restaurant and there was plenty of seating, for groups of all sizes. The menu was very expansive with options for any appetite, with the ability to get your meal prepared in a variety of ways with various meat options. We got the butterfly shrimp as an appetizer but it was more of a shrimp rolled up like spring roll which is not what butterfly shrimp means so that was disappointing but at least it tasted good with the sweet and sour sauce it came with. There was only one waitress for the whole place but she did great catering to each table and bringing out food and drinks in a timely manner. I got duck which was pretty good as it was prepared with pineapple and mushrooms and my wife got the lunch pad Thai with chicken. The food tasted great, though the portions between lunch and regular were not much different considering the price. If you are going to lunch it's worth it for their specials, however certain options like the duck are not available for lunch specials.

My search for vegetarian-friendly Thai food in the Augusta area led me to this strip mall on the edge of town. I was surprised when my server told me she herself couldn't tolerate the spice level I ordered. My tofu and green beans were indeed robustly spicy. A bit heavy on oil so I left some of that on the plate. The vegetarian section of the menu was not huge, but to have found a proper Thai place that gives you that spicy, fruity, herbal mix of flavors was a success, particularly since it's hard to find any assurance of non-seafood dishes at Thai places.

The staff were very polite, but I would not recommend the food. I was in town and saw they advertised as authentic Thai. However, they did not have Pad Woon Sen or any dishes with glass noodles. I ordered Pad See Ew which had a nice flavor but the rice noodles were undercooked. The noodle that is on a plate by itself is still hard in the middle.

Blue stuff in rice, no one ever called me back to address issue.

I came in to restaurant at 11:55 and immediately placed my order and I CANT BELIEVE THE WAITRESS JUST CAME TO AT 12:55 and asked me if I WANTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER! 1 hr I've been sitting there and you couldn't tell me earlier!!! This is fu**** UP AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL!!! Won't EVER COME BACK!!! How dare you!!!!! I could have went somewhere else to eat but professionalism at all!!! You didn't know you had 1 cook when I ordered an hour ago!

The curry dish I ordered there at lunch was flavorful and made-to-order. The chicken was tender. The presentation of the dish was nice in their blue and white dinnerware. The restaurant was clean. Despite having only one waitress, the service was fast. There were only three customers including me. The waitress was friendly and customer-oriented. Nevertheless, the size portion of the dish was too small. I paid for an extra-portion of white noodle to finish my plate. It was easy to park on the shopping center parking lot.

Hmmm on an extended visit from Brooklyn, NY and I gotta say I never had Thai food quite like this. Service was great, Location is beautiful but the Food is... unique. Never saw Pad See Ew or Pad Kee Mao with sliced carrots, reg broccoli and celery. Normally it's Chinese Broccoli or Bok Choy. Texture was a little off too. Normally it's the extra wide rice noodles not the pad thai style ones. Spice was no where near spicy either. They have 4 levels, went with 2 on reccomendation, but I think the 4 is actually "reg" level. Hard to find Thai in Augusta so guess it's good to satisfy a quick craving but not great for a return visit.

I love Thai food and it's hard to come by in Augusta. I haven't been here in many years but I heard they recently changed management and I was curious. I'll give any place a second chance. And thank goodness I did. I got the e1 and my friend got the n3. Before you judge this restaurant by the poor reviews it got before give it a try!

After browsing their menu online, I called in a to-go order and headed over. The restaurant wasn't too busy when I arrived, which made for a smooth pickup experience. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, and multiple people checked to make sure I had been helped while I waited for my food. The dining area was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed atmosphere that made me wish I had more time to dine in. Their menu is packed with options, pho, traditional Vietnamese dishes, seafood, vegetarian choices, honestly, narrowing it down was the hardest part of the visit. I was looking for something lighter without a mountain of noodles or rice, so I ordered the Seafood Stir Fry. This was easily one of the freshest and most flavorful Vietnamese meals I've had in a long time. The bowl was loaded with crisp vegetables and plenty of seafood, all perfectly seasoned and cooked. It came with rice on the side, but the portion was so generous and satisfying that I barely touched it. The prices were reasonable, the portions were large, and the service was excellent from start to finish. If you're in the Augusta area and craving flavorful, fresh Vietnamese food, Pho Viet Augusta absolutely deserves a spot on your restaurant list.

There were so many choices on the menu, but eventually, I wanted to try the Mongolian beef stir fry, the hot Green Tea, and the sesame balls and I can tell you it's an excellent combination, but the sesame bowls are more of an acquired taste for me. Hopefully 1 day I'll be able to enjoy it fully once I get around this sesame seeds. But overall, I highly recommend this place entirely.

The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right.
