We love maid pro, it just makes our lives so much easier. We have them come once a month to make it easier to maintain overall cleanliness of our apartment and it's always great! Tristan did an awesome job cleaning our kitchen and bathroom. He always asks before vacuuming, which is great since we work from home. We've never had a bad experience with maid pro. I do wish they had a better customer service system though as it does take a few days for them to get back to you if you call them with questions or anything. If I could select ZERO stars I would. The Hopkinton office cleaned my home and left so much behind. I paid for four hours of service and they didn't even complete half of the guaranteed work. I went behind them when I returned home and had to wipe down my stove and cabinets myself. The microwave inside or out was never touched although I pulled it out for them! Switch plates were not done and there were cobwebs throughout. The baseboards and radiator were not touched at all. When I called to express frustration, the office management was rude, unprofessional, and did nothing but make excuses. Sarah the manager actually had the nerve to ask me why I didn't go with someone else for the service. The owner (Nicole) then called - and I can clearly see where her staff gets their attitudes and horrid customer service skills - she was just as rude and abrasive. Contently cutting me off and ultimately rudely saying she'd cut a refund check and cancel my service on her end (not even at my request) Nicole the owner was rude and I'm surprised she is still in business. read more

After being a bit disappointed in my 1st deep clean, I spoke with the manager, who immediately sent someone else out to do a re-clean at no cost. Teresa did my re-clean and she is wonderful! I've always been pleased with my cleaning but if I wanted to see something else done or wanted more attention given to a particular room, they are always happy to so the job. MaidPro in Hopkinton is the best! I've tried many services and individuals over the years but the MaidPro cleaning crew is by far my best experience. They follow directions carefully (I like my bed made a certain way and I am a stickler about dust accumulating in hard to reach places). Debi and Taryn get all the hard to reach places clean and sparkly. The office staff reschedules my cleanings on very short notice when I have scheduling conflicts come up. So obviously you didn't read my review or didn't get the correct information from your employee or are simply telling lies. She tried to get me to agree to 6 hours or $300 to clean an 1100 sqft condo with no furniture and new rugs. It does not take 6 hours to clean 1.5 bathrooms and a small galley kitchen. So sorry but no your estimates are far from accurate. They are BS and you are trying to screw your customers. Also, it was not a 24 hour request. It was an 11 day request that was scheduled and agreed upon. The problem is (the only almost accurate thing you said) was I stated I would not pay over 2 hours. So do what you can in 2 hours and stop. So obviously you got a more expensive job and tossed me aside with zero notice. You put me in a spot to make other arrangements last minute after must wasted time explaining to you that I would not be taken advantage of. I have notified the Walcott Valley board and they will recommend that you are no longer used. Maybe if you spent more time in the Customer Service side versus the Screw the Customer aspect you would be more successful. read more

MaidPro is amazing! I will admit I am one tough customer. I've been with them all. The Maids, Merry Maids and I even had a woman come and clean my home for several months needless to say that didn't work out. One day I was on my way home and saw a MaidPro car so I grabbed the number and gave them a call. They were wonderful on the phone. Melissa and Sarah are the ladies that run the Hopkinton office and were very sweet assured me I would get an amazing clean. They were right. The two ladies they had sent to me were very professional and very nice. I am so happy I signed up with MaidPro. Not really impressed. I've been with this service for about 5 months. Some months its great, sometimes it isn't. I have a different team every month and the results are really inconsitant. Corners are missed, soap scum is left, nothing is moved, its really just a superficial cleaning, it looks good if you don't look hard. I can no longer justify the cost. read more

This team is highly effective: they usually take about 2 hours to clean the house, every 2 weeks. This can be challenging with a house with 2 cats and a messy teenage boy. The cleaning is thorough. I was once a very happy Maid Pro customer. I'm giving them two stars instead of one because they did continue to offer services throughout the pandemic, and as an exhausted health care professional, I appreciated that. Two years ago when we started using the service we were generally assigned the same housekeeper every week, the checklist was always completed, and I could count on my house being clean. If our pro couldn't make it we'd be offered an alternate day or alternate pro, our choice. We gladly paid the increased cost when the pandemic made everything more expensive. I figured it was hazard pay. Unfortunately the quality of the service has gone completely downhill. I recently terminated the service after the third cancellation in a one month period (weekly cleans). It began to seem like there was a different person in my home every week, or group of people who didn't seem to know who was cleaning what. This was extremely disruptive while we were working from home. Regularly the house was left not clean, sometimes because of the frequency with which the pros would interrupt my work to ask if it was OK to leave some item undone because they were running behind and other times because the pros had simply skipped items. There was an occasion where my husband texted to tell me that the pro had left and never even run the vacuum. In cases of cancellations I'd simply get an email saying "we can't come today, see you next week." I believe that Maid Pro has taken on more clients than they can actually provide services for resulting in stressed out pros and terrible service. Caring for a family member with a serious illness, and working full time to take care of my patients, I really needed consistency and cleanliness and unfortunately Maid Pro could no longer deliver. read more

I have been using the Hopkinton service for last year. I am very pleased with them. We travel a lot so I needed some one with flexibility. The Hopkinton office was was great to suit all our needs. All the staff we worked with was polite and professional even with last minute cancellation. It is affordable too, we shoed around before hiring them. Time for an update, MaidPro has been as good as gold, we did get a new team and Mariana and Melissa have been just wonderful. The house sparkles and smells so fresh by the time they are done. What I like the most about Mariana and Melissa is that they go the extra mile to tidy up some of the areas that are not included in the checklist, they see something out of place and they take care of it. And both of them are so polite and courteous, love Mariana and Melissa. And always a pleasure to talk to the office management team. We had some scratching on our cooktop, they actually hired a guy to come and restore the cooktop (they were even ready to replace it if that hadn't worked!). Keep up the good work read more

I am quite baffled by the excellent reviews that this cleaning service has acquired that had originally brought me to hire them in the first place. My experience with them was the worst I have experienced with any cleaning service I have every hired and I have used well over a half a dozen cleaning services in the 20 years I have owned a home. It started with the first deep cleaning, where the cleaners are supposed to do a thorough top-down cleaning as a foundation to work from for the ongoing cleanings. I was horrified at the job they did, called the office and one of the managers ( I will call her "S" as I do not wish to call out any particular names) came to see for herself and told me that it was "THE worst cleaning she had ever seen," apologized and sent another crew to remedy the disaster. She also offered me a free refrigerator cleaning to be done during the second cleaning. I still had faith, as they had remedied the situation and offered me a free extra for the inconvenience. One thing I did note: "S" never followed up with a customer service phone call to see if I was satisfied with remedy crew's work. Just figured it was an isolated oversight. But it just got worse from there. There were several items I had the company list in our file that the cleaners had missed the first time, but at this point, they were still getting to know the house and my particular requests and really thought nothing of it, but did expect those items to b addressed and not forgotten during the follow on cleanings, since the list was now supposed to be in our file. During the second cleaning, the first item on that list was yet again missed, a very simple request that the trash cans under the vanities in the master bath be emptied, since they are hidden behind the cabinets door. When I called the office, "S" answered the phone and she said that she told the cleaner that morning face-to-face and couldn't figure out why it wasn't done. Her comment at the time was "we'll take care of it". I don't know what she meant by that since nothing was done and again no follow up. I also made a separate request during the call to make sure the shredder in the office was emptied along with the trash. Before the third cleaning, I called the office to make sure the items were listed in our file so they would not be missed again. The two managers were both out sick so I spoke to a gentleman, who said he was one of the owners. He told me that that he didn't see these notes in my file, but that he would put them there and that he would verbally tell the cleaning crew. Therefore, "S" had never written it in our file. Had I not called before the third cleaning, it would have once again been missed. This time the trash was emptied, but all our beds were a mess. Old pillow cases were left on, new pillowcases put on over old ones, regular size pillow cases on king size pillows, while king size case were put on regular size pillows. The cleaners put the duvet cover on the bed as a a flat sheet with the old duvet cover being left on the comforter. I had to have them redo all the beds in the house and take off the soiled linens that weren't removed . By the fourth cleaning, I believed all kinks had been worked out, but they messed up the beds again and once again I had to have them redo the beds. One of the cleaners told me that she didn't know what a duvet cover was. It is unbelievable that a cleaning company can hire housecleaners, who do not know how to make a bed and can't tell a king pillow case from a regular pillow case. Is this not just common sense? It should also be mentioned that they never once sent the same crew (I do understand that cleaners get sick, they quit, etc.), but because I had to police each crew every time they came AND I followed up with a phone call to the office after every cleaning with a complaint about repeated offenses, that the managers/owners would be wise to be proactive about making sure to follow up about those items. There was never any follow up phone calls after any subsequent cleanings to be sure I was satisfied or if the items that I repeatedly had to call and complain about were taken care of. Repeated offenses documented and yet a complete lack of customer service. The fifth and final cleaning: they completely skipped a room. I called one final time to complain, "S" picked up and had the nerve to tell me that perhaps they need to add more time and charge me extra since maybe the cleaners felt rushed. Incompetence doesn't improve by adding more time. NO THANK YOU!! No apology and no reimbursement offered for the missed room. read more

One star for showing up. Hired for a deep clean before an open house. Needed it to be picture ready. Spent well over $400 to only have to finish the job myself...well actually do most of the job. Obvious 'normal' cleaning tasks were ignored. Didn't clean under beds- luckily I caught that before they left. Didn't dust my daughter's dresser. Didn't vac the rugs in my daughter's room. Didn't dust numerous selves throughout the house. Paid extra for oven and fridge cleaning..didn't touch bottom produce drawers and window of oven is still splattered with whatever. Dust bunnies under baseboards and behind doors. Chair rails still dusty from sanding and painting that was done. The list of 'didn't dos' is endless. Several friends and my realtor couldn't believe the extremely poor job that was done and proceeded to help me clean the rest of my house. And yes, I would have loved to have them come back to fix their mistakes but due to timing, that wasn't possible. So I'm out $400+ and can't be compensated in any other way. Avoid Maidpro at all costs. read more
