Maxine - thanks for responding, but the frequency or length of the cleaning wasn't the issue. At least half of the times, the person left early - usually after 90 minutes of work (even though I was paying for 2 hours). I sent a few emails about this too - that not only did the person leave early, but also that the cleaning tasks that they were supposed to accomplish were not done. The problem is that the actual cleaning tasks were either done poorly, or not done at all, and usually the reason was that the person left early - it wasn't due to time constraints. read more

Not impressed at all. Stay away!! Initially, I was impressed with the front office. They seemed very professional and on top of it. However, that changed quickly when I realized that they don't have their stuff together. I was called the day before my scheduled 1 time cleaning by the front office to change my appointment time - less than 24 hours notice. I had already made arrangements and plans to let them in and had a full list of errands/activities that had to be done before I left town and then had guests in immediately after, which is why I needed the cleaning. I confirmed back with the front office for the original time but guess what, the cleaners didn't show. I waited an hour and a half and nothing. Finally I received a call but it was too late. This is the WORST maid service I have ever seen. From customer service to the actual cleaning. I mean the WORST. My original call to them I informed them that I was new to the area and needed a little extra cleaning help and may use them every 2 weeks if all went OK. They quoted me a new move in rate (which they said would take 10 hours). I told the person no way as I have already moved in .":No problem"-she said, they would just charge for the time they were there. I called them the morning of the clean because by 9am they were not here and I needed an ETA-when I called I STRESSED -again- that it would NOT take 10 hours -Again-"no problem". I could barely hear her over the baby crying in the back ground- I stupidly gave them my credit card info. (I am just too trusting)!! -2 ladies came at 9:30am and left at around 2pm-Ok that's 4 and 1/2 hours (right)???-They left me no paper work and I signed nothing- so I waited for a call to confirm the cost. No call-The 2nd day I got an email thanking me and asking me to fill out an on-line survey, I informed them that no one has contacted me and I don't want to be over charged and the ladies spoke very little english. Plus the cleaning was not that great. -After reviewing my on-line survey they called and apologized saying they normally call right after the cleaning to make sure all went OK. I stated I need to know what is being charged on my credit card. Again-"no problem"!! Big problem when a day later I checked my bank and they'd charged me for 10 hours. Upon calling them back they stated oh that's not 10 hours that's for 2 people-Plus she told me a different price per hour-*no one ever mentioned they charged for each person* and..that the quote was for a weekly cleaning not a move in cleaning-I got tired of arguing with someone who barely spoke english and whom I don't think even understood all of what I was saying. Their favorite words are: "NO PROBLEM AND I'M SO SORRY"-Which is what this company is.. SO SORRY!!!! -So don't waste your time and money on them!! read more

Where do I begin? This company is the worst on every level possible. First off, I filled out their online survey, so that I may get a phone call and a quote. Never heard. Then my husband called, and made an appointment for a one time clean. He created a checklist so that he could tailor the clean to our needs and was given a general quote. The company also verbally offered to honor a coupon. 2 women came, spoke zero English (please start upstairs was not understood), talked on the phone, had no checklist, and cleaned slllloooowwwwly obviously dragging it out as much as possible. My husband was home and in the end our house was very lightly cleaned. They also did not use the eco products they promised online and our house smelled so toxic my husband had to take our babies out for awhile. Fast forward 2+ months later and we were mailed an unitemized bill for $210 (coupon not honored). My husband called and left a message to discuss the ridiculous bill that doesn't even reflect the amount of hours they cleaned and has not heard back in days. My husband and I have been very pleased with Maid Pro's service. She spends the time I paid doing the cleaning and working hard at it. She also has nice little finishing touches that are minor, but just show you she is giving the house an extra little TLC. For example, she empties the K cups from the coffee, folds the corners on the TP and transfers my bathroom rugs from the washer to the dryer and they are ready to be put done when I get home. Although my service has a regular schedule every other week it's been quite uneven lately. At the point that the last just didn't happened even after I called to verify. I received the information that the cleaners were very late (just because I called) and that they will be at my home by 5:30pm-6pm I told me I even so prefer that they come because I'll have guests coming the next day. So they promised they will and they didn't. Very Very frustrating and unprofessional customer service. I am very satisfied with the service I've received from Maid Pro. I live in Redmond and have an average sized home. I am not one that needs the every 2 week cleaning since I have no kids or pets. I just call about once a quarter to do the things that I hate, such as dusting and cleaning the shower! ICK! I am always so happy and shocked how they do such a good job in a relatively short time frame. I am not sure why the reviews are so bad about this company. I have been more than happy each time. Of course you are not going to get perfection, but it's as close as humanly possible. I see reviews that they are overpriced. I believe that if people are cleaning your vial toilets and nasty showers, YOU SHOULD PAY THEM WELL! I would definitely recommend this company if you are 1. reasonable about expectations and 2. hate cleaning I make sure before my cleans to pick up the "knick knacks" and do my own dishes and laundry as i find these things simple. since you are paying by the hour, it is your choice how you want them to spend their time. We had a cleaning done by MaidPro Bellevue but the team that cleaned our home did not do a very good job and they left many things undone, even though they checked off everything on the checklist. MaidPro immediately offered to have another team come and do a re-clean in order to get everything done that was promised and they delivered! Gabby and Ana came to our house, did the re-clean, and when we got home, we were very pleased with how beautiful our house looked! They did a wonderful job! At first different people came but I asked them to make sure Ana was the one to come every time. She does a great job and I love coming back to a clean house on Thursdays. I've used both the Bellevue and Tukwila offices (I moved about 3 years ago) and I've been very pleased. I'm disabled, so they vacuum, clean the shower, change the bed, and do other tasks that I'm not physically able to do myself. I've been home a couple of times when the cleaner is here, and they're always polite. Besides typical cleaning tasks, they also wash my bedsheets after changing them, and will put away any laundry in the dryer. I've left my iPad and even some cash lying around and never had any trouble with items wandering off. Overall, I'm very happy with their service. read more

For the most part we are happy with our cleanings. We seem to have a good cleaner who is consistently assigned to our house. She does a good job with the large spaces. Since I am a neat freak and notice the little things, I wish the cleaner would spend a little more time on the details, though, like taking down cobwebs, edging around the window sills and baseboards, and scrubbing the grout of mildew (rather than just going over the showers with a cloth). Still, it is great to come home to a clean and fresh smelling house. Also, in the past whenever I have had an issue, the front desk has made sure to pass on the notes to the cleaner and the problem has been corrected at once. I had begun using maid pro after we got a second dog. Although their service seemed overpriced and slow, I was pretty satisfied. If they missed something one week, I would provide feedback and they would generally make sure they got it the next. All in all, when enrolled in a bi-weekly service, they were quick to respond and ensure I was satisfied. That is until we decided to terminate service because we were moving. We asked maid pro to make our last bi- weekly service a move out clean. This clean was priced even higher than their regular services and took even longer (even though all of our furniture was out of the apartment). But the real issue came when they shut off our refrigerator without emptying the ice tray. I am not sure why they shut it off, but when out move out inspectors were about to come through we had a huge puddle of water across the kitchen floor; not the end of the world, but we were not thrilled given the $200+ we paid for this cleaning. The thing that really got to me was the great customer service that we had while using maid pro on a bi-weekly basis all but disappeared. I provided my feedback and got no response and no attempt to rectify the situation. In all, this service is overpriced and, from the feedback I have read here, not worth the trouble. read more

The cleaning was great. The cleaners are professional, punctual, and they do a fantastic job. The business office is a different story. They have had some fluctuations in franchises around Seattle recently, so I'm cutting them a little slack because of that. But I had some regular cleanings that were not charged because of the franchise changes. When they finally were charged, over a year later, they were done in a lump sum without prior authorization. I don't have an issue paying for cleanings I received, even over a year later, but I should have been notified that the entire amount would be charged on my card, and given the opportunity to prepare for that. Not as advertised. I have been having my house cleaned for almost 7 years now. I know what a properly cleaned house looks like. I tried using Maid Pro and am very disappointed with my experience. Maid Pro cleaners have NO idea how to clean a house. The schedulers try to get you to buy more time for cleaning. Yet within the hours that you do pay for, the cleaners seem to do a very poor job of cleaning. For example, I paid for 2 hours of regular cleaning. The maid would spend an hour and half in one room and its bathroom (approx 500 Square Ft sized room with bathroom) and then less than a half hour on the rest of the house. Given this, I expected at least the one room to be clean. Not so. The room was left grimy, with visible layers of dust on all surfaces. The toilet still had stains and fresh urine drops left on it (not ours)! Very horrifying to find this on a supposedly "cleaned" room. The floor was covered in dirt - could run a wet towel and find it covered in dirt. So, what exactly did the maid clean for over an hour in this room? I tried to give it a chance and continued using them over 6 months. Finally I could stand it no more and contacted the Maid Pro office. When I contacted Maid Pro, instead of addressing my concern, I was told I need to pay for more hours - if I want my house properly cleaned - to my expectations. That does not make any sense! How will paying for more hours fix the issue of the house being left unclean after being "cleaned" for 2 hours? I switched to another maid service and am very happy with the 2 hours of cleaning this other maid service is doing for me so far. read more
