We recently closed on our home in February. I called MaidPro (on a friend's recommendation) to clean our almost-empty home with a few pieces of furniture that was left for us. I was finally able to get an appointment at the beginning of March. In addition to being late, (while I was at work), they also did NOT clean my home. They called me at work asking for an additional hour to get the job done. I agreed because I thought they would be cleaning the house from head-to-toe. I was wrong. When I got home, I saw that my blinds were not dusted, dirt on the floor, windows still dirty, and animal/human hair from the last owner in the house. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, the representative admitted that they didn't clean the upstairs because they didn't have time and it was too much of a job. First of all, I called them because I needed the whole house cleaned (which I expressed when I scheduled my appointments). Why would they send someone to not complete the job? The representative was very nice but kept asking to call me back after speaking with her supervisor. After several follow-up calls like that, she said her supervisor was going to call me back, which never happened. They charged my credit card, and I never heard back from them since. I have never felt so deceived and unsatisfied with a cleaning service in my life and will never recommend them to anyone who needs a reputable home cleaning service. read more

I had booked their cleaning services for 3 days this past weekend in the Hamptons. First day Friday July 31st , no one shows up. I call the number provided on the email and I reached the sales department. They saw my booking on the system and said it was strange and asked me to hold while they call the Hamptons office. After a while they said that they are not answering,but they left multiple voice messages to the manager and they should get back to me the following day, conversation ended and I went about my night. The next evening, I have still not heard anything from their end. So I call again and reach their sales department again. (This is the only number where I actually got through to anyone) they again said they can't do anything from their end and that they will try to reach the Hamptons office again. They never reached anyone and came back saying the office might be closed for the weekend so I will most likely get a call back Monday or Tuesday (August 3/4) which was the other 2 days of my cleaning booking. It is now August 5th and no one showed up for my August 3/4 booking and I have still not hear back from anyone. This is the most unprofessional and unreliable company I have ever did business with. And their way of handling their negligence is to ignore the client. Let's just say, if you want to have a cleaner actually show up for the job, do not contact maidpro. Horrible experience.
