She's really terrific - I can txt her to schedule visits and she is really really flexible with my weird time constraints on getting my condo cleaned. She's always on time - when she says she'll be there at 10 AM, she'll be there at 10 AM. She does a really great job cleaning, brings her own products, and most importantly -- she takes PayPal for payments (a minor miracle). Lorita called me on the day of to tell me that she was sending one of her helpers and that was fine. The woman was very nice but the cleaning was quite sub-par. Despite me specifically requesting that the inside of the cabinets be cleaned, some of the drawers weren't cleaned. The counters and the sink weren't cleaned off properly, she told me she couldn't reach the freezer (I ended up reaching it just fine and cleaning it myself), the inside of the microwave had food particles, the bath tile needed additional cleaning, there were sections of the floor that hadn't been swept properly. In all, I basically had to go through the entire place and swipe everything down and re-sweep certain areas and scrub the kitchen sink and clean the microwave interior. When I later emailed Lorita letting her know, she told me that cabinets were extra and were. not included in the deep cleaning. This was news to me since her helper hadn't told me that when I went through the apartment pointing out areas that needed special attention. Given that it's a woman-run business that I really wanted to support (I was thinking of retaining them for a regular monthly cleaning), I'm disappointed with how things turned out. I would give her 5 stars for the first cleaning and 2 stars for the second.

The meh: Their dusting was just ok - a lot left in the blinds. The ugly: They turned my side table around to clean behind it, and things weren't returned to the state they were in. The drawers were facing the bed so they wouldn't open, the power cord management box was behind the side table vice beside it, lamps were unplugged. Also, we have those "Indows" plexiglass window inserts for sound isolation. They pulled one of them out (to clean the window i guess) and managed to scratch the plexiglass in the process - about a 4-5" gash, and did not put the indow back in. I mean, I thought they didn't do windows anyway? Why wouldn't they ask how it worked or if they should clean the window? I think if I were to have them back I'd have to supervise, or set expectations for them not to touch windows and to return things the way they were.

My home is generally well-kept, so this was meant to be a focused deep clean on a few areas. Around the 1 hour 15 minute mark, I was contacted and told they would need an additional hour, which I found surprising given there were two cleaners and the task list was minimal. When I arrived back at the house at the two-hour mark (after they said they were finished), I immediately noticed the kitchen floor didn't look clean. I asked them to go back over it, but even after that, I saw multiple areas that were missed. Corners of baseboards still had visible debris, and some baseboards looked like they hadn't been touched at all. There was pink residue left around the sink drain, the showerhead wasn't cleaned, and there was long hair left in the shower, bathrooms, and on the floors -- which isn't mine. The windows had streaks, and overall it seemed like many areas were quickly wiped down rather than cleaned thoroughly. For such a small list of tasks, I expected better attention to detail and thoroughness. Unfortunately, the work felt rushed and incomplete, and I will not be booking this service again.

I chose to go with them over the competitors. The service itself was great - the ladies cleaned my 1br for about an hour and a half, and left before I was back (with my permission). I got home and while parts of my apartment were clean, the inside of the fridge, the inside of the cabinets, and the baseboards had not been cleaned. I called Scrubbies, as they had requested feedback, and expressed my disappointment that perhaps I had a different expectation of "deep clean" than they did. They immediately said they wanted to rectify it and would come out the next morning to do so. Then the owner called me as well to apologize and said they would take care of it. Kendra came out the next morning and addressed everything I had asked about.
