Hearing directly from the person in my home was more helpful than a central office, so I appreciated that. It built trust and I felt at ease. Now, here's where things get really exciting... When I came home, and opened the door, I was smacked in the face with a lovely, non-toxic scent and my tiny but cute-as-a-button place was gleaming. Superficially, the house looked amazing - cobwebs from ceiling to floor? Vanished. Dust bunnies in between my giant plant collection? Outta there. Every surface perfectly polished? Of course. But what unfolded over the next several hours felt like I was a little kid on Christmas morning...as my partner and I went about our day, we'd yell to each other, "Oh my gosh, they cleaned there!?" "Wait - they did THAT!?" "I didn't expect them to do THAT!" "I didn't realize that could even BE cleaned!" It happened about 10 times that afternoon and even a few times the next day.
