My previous experiences with cleaning crews had left much to be desired. I had been through several companies, including an eco-friendly cleaning service, and all of them fielded the same problems such as overcharging, sub-par service, and lack of punctuality. Completely exhausted and now wary of any cleaning service I had resigned my options to sacrificing a weekend to administer a thorough cleaning of my 2 story 3,000 square feet home. Three weeks ago I had some friends and co-workers over to watch Monday Night Football and one of my friends opined on the condition of the house. I have a fairly large house and it is really hard to keep it clean, especially with me and my wife both working, One of my work buddies told me that our company had hired a cleaning service called Maid Serve. I never heard of them but the office always seemed to be immaculate on Mondays, ( Maid Serve would service the office over the weekend ) so I reached out to inquire on availability and pricing. The prices seemed more than fair but I was at the very minimum wary and maybe a little bit jaded given my past experiences, I made a weekday appointment and they were able to oblige me at 10:00 am. I was expecting them at 10:15, maybe 10:20, ( I am very anal when it comes to time and I believe that any professional worth his or her salt arrives 15 minutes early ), low and behold I see this Van pull up into my drive way at 9:43!!! and I am thinking that perhaps they were going to ask me for directions to another house that they scheduled for 9:00 am. Well, my cynicism hit a wall when up walked Wilma and Ricardo. They were so friendly and I immediately softened up. We walked in the foyer of the house and I tell him to just use water and vinegar to clean the lacquered hardwood floors. With a semi furled brow he responded in a thinly veiled disbelief at my ignorance. He advised me to use Murphy's oil soap or a gentle cleanser on my flooring because though lacquer is a floor sealant, it does not make the floor impervious to water wear and damage. I was quite embarrassed and pleasantly surprised. The time estimate was for 5 hours which I thought to be lengthy, however Wilma told me that they never underbid a time estimate in order to get a job. These two were off to a fast start but could they deliver? well when I came back 4 hours later, I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. They were loading up the van and though at a cursory glance, every cleaning job appears to be spectacular, this just felt different. After they left I decided to conduct a full scale audit of their work. Like I mentioned before, most cleaning jobs are cosmetic and don't fair well under scrutiny. As I noticed the glowing sheen of my solid wood floor that was beaming with all of natures glory, the shimmering chrome of my shower head, the now mildew free ring around my tub that beckoned me for a well deserved bubble bath. The place just screamed aloud the inviting freshness of a brand new domicile, waiting to be warmed by a family building a nest for the future. It had that new house smell if their is such a thing. My wife said that the house had not been that clean since we first moved in but she is wrong. The house was never this clean and I am going to use them again for all of my cleaning needs. I am wholeheartedly recommending Maid Serve and you will be lucky if you get Wilma and Ricardo, though I'm sure that any of their workers are equally charming and professional. This crew completed reversed my opinion about this industry and erased all of my bad experiences. They are now my go to and they should be yours too. read more

I'll start with the pros - they were able to accommodate a next day cleaning request with a mid-day start time in West Hollywood. Professional by phone and follow-up e-mail to provide a quote and handle scheduling. While I was grateful to get someone to come out on such short notice so I didn't have to clean it myself, the services "could have been better". The crew of two people were nice enough but since I asked for a DEEP CLEAN in a practically vacant unit (it had minimal furniture for staging) and had been sub-par cleaned by tenants prior to move-out, I was expecting that WOW factor for almost $90 an hour before having people through for Open House as we are selling the property. What they did clean was good - but it was what they missed (seriously, the oven?) and/or had to have them re-do (debris in the strainer of the kitchen sink made me think it had been cleaned by the tenant before that day and not this crew), it was a little disconcerting to have them come back in after they were waiting to get paid and thought they were done to have them come back in and do more cleaning. This happened not once, but rather three (3?!?) times. Now to be fair - I was raised by a mother who was EXTREMELY OCD when it came to cleaning. She was the type who would have used a white glove to check to see if someone cleaned. She also expected people to move furniture and not vacuum around them. When she was younger and felt well enough to clean herself, her personal cleaning arsenal included all types of cleaning products and an assortment of rags, brushes and even toothbrushes to make sure the nooks and crannies were clean. For $258, this was the highest that I have ever paid for just three hours of cleaning and was really expecting an outstanding service, especially with the conditions they started with. As I have a regular cleaning woman to handle my own home, I'll just deal with waiting until she has a spot for me (because she is really that good and in such high demand with a solid client base) and just hope that I am never needing an outside service again because its not something I would ever do again. read more

Had another great cleaning just completed. This is my third time having MaidServe do my house cleaning. In Los Angeles, I feel like we have a ton of cleaning companies and I think I've tried every single one of them or so. This company is by far the best that I've come across. Here is my experience up to date... The first cleaning that I had them do was average... Meaning I didn't go WOW. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad at all. On the contrary it was better than 99% of any other companies that were over. I just felt like it was a robotic cleaning. They hit all the spots and left. The second time around when I called, I asked to see if I can possibly try a different cleaning crew just to see what the difference would be. The second crew was super nice and I really enjoyed their cleaning. When I called to schedule today's appointment, I asked for the second cleaning crew but they were already booked for another job so they sent me a third, completely different cleaning crew. What can I say... Just wow! This third crew really hit it out of the park. I don't recall their names but the company has a record of which cleaning crews come out and I will definitely try to book them moving forward. Here are my pros for using this company: - Easy and fast to book (especially if you're a returning client) - Prices are very reasonable - Have multiple cleaning crews to choose from - Cleaners do an excellent job - Have availability when you need them - Customer service is outstanding My only frown would be that they can not guarantee that the same cleaning crew would be able to come each time you book an appointment as I found out when trying to book the second cleaning crew. If they are assigned to another job at that time, you won't get them. I guess this is understandable. Customer service did tell me that if I was to set up a regular ongoing cleaning service, then they can assign the same crew to come every time. I'm now thinking of doing this. Same cleaning crew each time that I like plus a better price per cleaning is a win win for me. read more

I was wary about hiring cleaners because of all the bad reviews I've seen around yelp. MaidServe was the one with the least amount of bad reviews, so I reluctantly gave them a call. I could not be more satisfied with the end result. Bryan and Rosa are amazing. They went above and beyond my expectations. The property I asked them to clean was a mess. The tenants had not cleaned it once in the 10 years they lived there, so the entire home was absolutely disgusting. Bryan was told it would be a basic cleaning, so they weren't prepared to tackle a beast, but they still did with such short notice. (Hats off for being flexible). To top it off, DWP cut the power to the house, so Bryan and Rosa were stuck working in the dark, holding their phone flashlight in one hand and cleaning with the other. DWP doesn't start service on the weekends. It was a Saturday. I went to Home Depot to pick up a generator and flashlights so they weren't stuck working in the dark. While I was working to get them power, their boss called them and told them to drive 2 hours in traffic back to LA, then another 2 hours back to my property once the power comes back on. Bryan said he can't do that, and continued to work in the dark. ( I came back with the generator and provided them with power. I had to run multiple errands all day, going in and out of the house. Despite Bryan and Rosa being alone in the house for multiple windows throughout the day with little to no management, they continued working tirelessly. At first, I was worried they might slack off when I wasn't on site, but every time I left and came back, an entire section of the house was cleaned spotless and even smelled nice. 100% trustworthy people with amazing work ethic. I booked a move in cleaning for my new apartment. I used Maid Serve this past weekend for my house cleaning. Booking was super easy. I originally requested a quote through YELP to get more information, and the manager responded in less than 20 minutes. Then I booked an appointment via the website, it was so easy and quick. The site has every information anything you need to know. I asked them for a deep clean. They were quick to respond and then asked me for my phone number to text me. Then I give it to them. They provide a 2-hour window for arrivals and I received a text message with a heads up when they were n their way. Adriana and Cris came to my home. As soon as they came home they started working. They clean my home top to bottom. I specifically asked for a deep clean on the bathrooms and kitchen. My shower looks amazing this is the best part as the shower. The kitchen was sparkling. I have never seen sink so spotless and shiny. I was impressed. As well as the stove to it even my husband was impressed. Adriana and Cris were fabulous. The ladies did such a wonderful job. I normally like doing food reviews but this is an exception. As I try to do my best in finding the best deals and businesses where I work, I came across this one through a friend of mine who had nothing but high praise for. I decided to call and had an appointment to clean the office I'm at. Normally another crew would come in but there was a family emergency and Suka, one of the crew, recommended this business. I was greeted by quite a professional crew of cleaners that informed me of my options and I asked a couple questions Suka told me to ask. I was graciously given a discount - which was quite surprising! - and was informed of what the crew was able to handle. I mentioned Suka and one girl in the five person crew knew of her. I watched them closely as they did their job with a smile, a joke, but lots of professionalism that put me at ease. When all was said and done, the office was sparkling clean like the day it opened five years prior. Thanks for a bangup job, MaidServe. I and my office mates were duly impressed (and the cost was very reasonable too). And thanks, also, for the follow-up call the next day asking if anything else needed attention. After having surgery and literally living in my girlfriend's apartment 24/7 for 10 days straight, you know what needed to happen? Cleaning. But guess what the last thing you want to do after finally being able to walk faster than a shuffle? Clean. When you call their office to ask a question, you get to speak to a very friendly and professional staff. There are good people behind this business. Our cleaners arrived early and were quick, thorough, and efficient. I was really impressed with the attention to detail and they covered many things that other cleaners have skipped/forgotten such as: the molding, windowsills, picture frames, and taking out all of the trash. As a side note, when I walked them through the apartment before they began working, I purposely didn't tell them about an area in the bathroom that shouldn't have been missed the first time around. When I walked through after they were finished, I was happy to find that they had taken care of that.and then some. Moreover, their prices were very competitive. This company was significantly cheaper than many other services that did half as quality of a job. Would definitely recommend these guys to all my friends! read more

These folks are real gems! When I called Alex on Wednesday morning (11-19-14) I had just been "Blown Off" by someone else and wasn't in a very trusting mood. He allayed my concerns; both as to price and timing. He assured me that his associates would be on time with the necessary equipment and materials to properly clean the space I wanted. As the old ad said, "No Ups, No Extras!" Ricardo and Velma arrived 30 minutes early and were apologetic but wondered if they could begin immediately. They couldn't have been more polite. They were very skilled and efficient. Ricardo explained that they didn't simply "Dust" but actually cleaned from the top down. The bathroom ceiling, tile and grout, the shower doors, their tracks and of course the sink and toilet shinned like new. No lingering chemical odors! All of my wooden built-ins were cleaned inside and out (all 23 drawers). 2 Sky-lights, 2 closets with sliding mirror doors and their tracks. My unit hasn't looked so clean since it was rebuilt. OMG- Joel Palomino & Julia are the best! I could not have asked Cora better cleaning crew than them!! Totally rocked! I just had my c-4 fused 3 weeks ago today, so there were dust bunny's all over my home. Plus, there's construction all around us, Maid-Serve office staff NEED to better communicate to the crew the jobs that they are sending them out to do. I called, twice Bedford I got a returned call to book my appt. But with all the bad office continuations and confusions you still cannot take away the fact that the crew, at least the ones that came to my house, Were courteous, respectful, super professional, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was okay because they understood the severity of my condition. Thumbs up to Joel Palomino & Julia, I am humbled that YOU took the extra time to make sure I was okay and my home was clean to my standards. So my housekeeper of over 20 years retired. I couldn't find a replacement and was in need of having my house cleaned on short notice and after not having any maid service for many a week. I called and Maid Serve was able to send someone out within 48 hours of my initial request. Adriana and Chris came. They did a very nice job of cleaning a very dirty house. My initial response was to use them temporarily until I found a full time person to clean my house. Since I am often a procrastinator, that didn't quite happen, and I wound up calling and having them come again, and again and again. They do a wonderful job of cleaning my home. They are efficient. They do any task I ask of them. They have called me to confirm whether or not to clean certain areas, like the black hole-aka my teenage daughter's room, and most importantly, my dog likes them! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with MaidServe and the helped me with my unit in Del Rey, Los Angeles, CA. They cleaned my 2 story unit with a private outdoor rooftop patio incredibly well and went above and beyond to make it shine. One of the standout features of their work was how well they cleaned up the Spanish tile throughout my patio area. It had accumulated dirt and grime over time, but they were able to make it look like new again. Additionally, the outdoor stairway leading up to the rooftop was cleaned thoroughly and looked fantastic after they finished. Overall, I would highly recommend this cleaning business for anyone in need of a reliable & thorough cleaning service. I'll definitely be using them again in the future. As my first review, words cannot express how happy and pleased I am with the apartment cleaning service! Firstly, the owners provide quick responses to ensure cleaning service can be booked. Second, the cleaners, Maria and Gabrielle, are BEYOND AMAZING! My 2bd/2ba apartment was slightly dusty from the recent wind and my roommate moved out so needed a spring cleaning. The cleaners were great with the attention to detail, quick, very thorough and cleaned every nook and cranny. The bathrooms are now spotless and so clean!(wish I took before and after pictures). My husband and I were very happy with the recent cleaning we had with this company in our 1 bedroom apartment. The process reserving a time and getting a price quote was all quick and easy and the work done on the specific parts we asked them to clean was perfect. They even cleaned the inside of our oven which no one has ever done. The only thing I will bring up next time is that they didn't take out the main trash can or even moved it to sweep around it and the area surrounding it, which is our cat litter box. That area was a little left to be desired but I am happy to give a more detailed explanation next time. Like I said the areas we did request special attention they did perfectly. I recently had a fantastic cleaning experience with the two people who came over to my home. They were incredibly efficient and even tackled some of those tough spots that I never wanted to deal with myself. There was a small hiccup when they weren't initially aware of my request for a deeper clean, which I had indicated on my initial form. But I'm glad I double-checked with them because once they knew, they took care of it right away. I don't get cleanings very often so I'm not sure if this is the norm, but it would have been nice if they had known about my request from the start. I just hire these guys to spring clean my house and to pressure wash my back yard, I didn't expect much because I have a big house and used a lot of different cleaning companies and non have stood out. I will tell you this much, stay away from cleaning agencies....they take zero responsibility for their cleaners actions and most are not insured. I have a big house and need reliable professionals not like We Clean America sends. Anyway MaidServe deserves my hard earned praise and a rave review for all to see.
