I came in for hybrid lash extensions. I haven't done eye lash extensions in awhile so the process was new to me. My eyes were twitching alot at first because I wasn't use to the sensation, but my lash tech Amy was extremely patient with me and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend! I get my lashes done by Erica and she always does a nice job. One thing I've noticed with different lash technicians is when they try to remove an old lash sometimes they pluck your real eyelash off. Ouch! So when I find someone who doesn't do that I stick with them! Also they use a high quality lash extension that is light, soft and fluffy. Ive been to other salons that use stiff lashes that feel crusty and caked in glue. Their pricing is not bad either. If you need a good lash place definitely come here!! You will not be disappointed! I also had my brows microbladed/ombre shaded with Mai Ly about 2 years ago. I was happy with the results then and still am. I know i will need a touch up at some point but for 2 years out it still looks pretty good! So nice to wake up and not have to apply makeup and still feel pretty!! read more

The studio is very relaxing and beautiful so that was great to walk into. I had An appointment with Kim, so when I entered I was immediately approached by her which was great. She was what seemed to be very friendly and then she made a comment that rubbed me the wrong way. She mentioned I look very different from my pictures -- mind you, I love makeup so when I put makeup on I look like a different person however that was totally unnecessary. Lol like girl, come on. Honestly I was ready to walk out however I did not because I was leaving for my trip the following day. Prior to actually doing my lashes, she had me lay down and she failed to tell me she was going to clean my eyelashes at that time so all of a sudden whatever she used to clean my lashes was all up in my eyes. VERY uncomfortable (I've had my lashes done many times before so yes I know they clean your lashes). At the end, some of my top lashes got glued to the bottom lashes and she ripped them apart (which hurt). All in all my experience wasn't the best however because of the good reviews I'll probably be back for another technician. However the lashes themselves were beautiful and I got compliments everywhere and they lasted me over a month! read more

Ladies, me as a person who didn't get what I wanted for my micro blading is telling you to DO MORE RESEARCH before you settle with one technician. I did micro blading somewhere else yesterday. I've being super upset since she finished my eyebrows. My eyebrows are now thick and dark, also have very high arches. All of these were the opposite of what I was asking for. I did some research and called Maile to ask for suggestions. She was so patient and listened to what I have to say even though they didn't do my eyebrows. She also gave me some suggestions. I wish I had checked them out before I did my eyebrows! Good micro blading is not only about good skills. The technician has to be able to design a good shape of eyebrows according to your face. Micro balding is also about how the technician listens to your needs, not only what they think it's good for you. read more

I have had lash extensions and brow microblading done by Mai Le, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. The lash extensions were absolutely beautiful (attached a picture, this is with no makeup and it is amazing to wake up in the morning and look ready to go!) and my brows, which have always been my struggling point, look amazing. Her prices are on the more expensive end, but in this case it's so, so worth it. I've seen some terrible microblading on yelp and it's worth it to pay extra for quality- brows are important! read more

I have been a very consistent and loyal of Mai and her studio this past year and am super disappointed regarding my most recent experience. On Monday 10/14 I was scheduled for my 2 week fill that I mistakenly had thought it was scheduled for 3:40. I get a phone call from MaiLash at 3:23 which I answered and they informed me at the time that my appt was scheduled for 3:15 - I was extremely apologetic as I have never been even a minute late nor missed an appointment. I immediately got in my car and was at the studio in less than 10 minutes. I was very apologetic that I was late and was thankful that Mai could squeeze me in despite my tardiness. I left the studio that day very pleased with the fill given the short amount of time she had. Fast forward three days to today- I noticed that my right eye was noticeably less full than my left. I called the studio to ask if there was any way they could do a quick touch up- which I did say on the phone I was happy to pay for. The receptionist informed me since it was within 3 days it would be a free fix. It was just a slight touch up I needed anyway and just on my right corner eye. I was then passed the phone along to Mai- she immediately was accusatory that I was late Monday and that the fix would be $40. I was appalled- for someone who has been so loyal to you and who never complains nor is late EVER, that type of treatment was inexcusable. Mai then said that she would only charge me $15 this one time... asked when I could come in and was there at the studio right when she said she could squeeze me in. When I got there the treatment continued- very defensive in her tone and I was embarrassed to be there. There are PLENTY of talented lash artists here in Scottsdale that I will now be taking my loyalty too and I will NOT return nor recommend this studio any longer. It's very unfortunate as Mai is very talented, but for how much I spend and consistent I have been to this studio it's inexcusable. read more

Before coming to MaiLash, I tried three other lash extension providers. I have never been more satisfied than with the quality and service I've received at MaiLash. I've been to both Kayla and Jodi for my lashes and they are both great. They're always on time and very professional. Other places have been rough with my eyes/lashes, but not MaiLash. They are gentle and use only high quality products. My lashes are never clumpy; they're always lovely and fluttery. Because of the great experience I've had at MaiLash with my lashes, I also decided to get my eyebrows micro-bladed. I have a difficult skin type because I'm very oily, but overall I'm very satisfied with the results. The first application didn't take very well, but the touch up after six weeks really helped to make it stay better. I can get away without filling in my brows now, which saves me so much time on my make up routine! Mai is very skilled at micro-blading. She took her time to pick a brow shape that worked with my face. She made sure I knew what she was doing and that I had an opportunity to give input.
