There's a lot happening in this store. As soon as you walk in, its right in your face. There's the cashiers in the front of the store, produce on the right side, aisles in the middle, protein in the back wall, butchers in the back left corner, and bakery on the left wall. The building doesn't feel super big and everything feels on top of each other. You get two people in the aisle and it feels pretty small. That being said, everything felt in place. I didn't have to run around or find substitutions for what I wanted because things were well stocked. Cashiers weren't super chatty but they gave a head nod and acknowledged you and honestly that's a win. Food were pretty fresh. I got a few things to eat that same night and some the next day. Even the gummy worms I got weren't hard and stale. Parking lot is solid. Nice sized lot. Off a main street. Not well lit. So I would park closer when the sun sets.

He rang it up incorrectly and tried to charge me $250 for chicken when I brought it to his attention he got mad and cursed at me. He eventually had to bring his store manager over to correct his mistake Today I saw him again. When I asked him how his day was he mumbled something. I'm a senior who has trouble hearing sometimes so I asked him to repeat what he said. He said you heard me! I said I honestly didn't hear what you said then he mumbled something under his breath. I really hope things get better for him or he finds a new job somewhere he likes better.

Food4Less was my go-to for that and wasted so much time looking for it just to learn they no longer carry it. I could have gone to Sam's (not too far from Food4Less) but it's the weekend and it's safe to assume that place is gonna be mad crowded. On my way to pick up ordered food to serve for the party, here pops out Smart & Final, and I thought... "has this place been here this whole time?" It's one of those places I never saw until the need came up! And so glad for the discovery! It was on the way home. Found the fuel cans quickly and was out just as fast. My orders are always ready on time, they've never messed up an order, and if something needs to be substituted, they're quick to communicate with me beforehand so there are no surprises when I arrive. I've probably ordered from here 40+ times at this point (could be more, could be less -- I honestly have no idea, but I order A LOT), and I can confidently say that the employees have ALWAYS been pleasant, helpful, and efficient. I can only remember one occasion where my order took a little longer than usual, but I could literally see ALL OF THE CARS in the parking lot, so I obviously wasn't expecting them to magically have my order ready immediately. Even then, they still kept me updated and communicated with me, which I really appreciated. Personally, I HATE going inside stores. I have very little patience for slow walkers, people who stop in the middle of an aisle, or entire families somehow managing to take up the ENTIRE aisle while completely unaware that other people are trying to get through. I have genuinely had to remind myself to breathe in situations like that. So yes, online ordering and pickup is absolutely my preferred method because it saves me from testing the limits of my patience. That being said, every employee I've encountered here has been beyond helpful, communicative, and kind. I truly appreciate the consistency and the effort they put into making pickup so easy. And just to be clear, I'm NOT saying that going inside the store is a bad experience. The few times I have gone in, the employees have been friendly, and the store itself has always been clean and well-maintained. I simply have ADHD and, personally, slow walkers and people with zero situational awareness in a crowded store will be the death of me. So I can't really speak for the customers -- because, respectfully, I have absolutely no patience for them. ‍ But the STAFF? Always great. The pickup service? Excellent. The communication? When I was told about this place I was told to make the order via phone and schedule a pick up cause the lines are long and it can take up to an hour. There was definitely a lot of people there, but if you order through the phone it can be as quick as just picking up and paying at the front. The fish and octopus were great, I don't have any issues. The guys in the back definitely know how to wash, clean and fry the fish!
