Little Tokyo Famers Market... I don't mean to make a joke, but putting the term, "Little," in front…read moreof the name of this farmers market is very ideal. Because, this is a very-very small farmers market. This is not a criticism. This is just a fact. When you come to this farmers market, there's only a few sellers offering fresh produce. This being stated, however, these sellers do offer some very good vegetables and/or fruit items. But, you just have to keep in mind, your selection is going to be very limited when you come here. Other than some vegetables and/or fruit, you will find various sellers offering various other items at different points throughout the year. The sellers at this farmers market change frequently. So, you probably shouldn't expect to go one time, come back to the next, and expect that same seller to be there. They may be there or they may not. In terms of location, this farmers market is located in the shopping plaza just across from the central area of the Little Tokyo shopping and dining area. So, it's very easy to find. It's right off the 2nd Street. This farmers market certainly serves its purpose, but you just have to keep in mind that what's offered here is not defined by large quantities or a large selection. Nonetheless, you may find exactly what you're looking for.

This makes my heart so happy that this farmers market is truly making a difference for people. The market itself was just the right size for me - not too big, not too small! Walked in at exactly 9am, and there was already a long line. They had a lot of food options to choose from along with lots of beautiful, real plants. They have over 30 vendors and some even let you try the food before buying them. Parking situation was a disaster, No parking and one of the streets near buy was closed. I had to circulate like 4 times, parked 2 blocks down and had to walk to the Market. I bought couple of scented candles, loaf of olive bread, 4 Croissants, dozen eggs, 4 beef Pupusas, fresh Sunflowers from their floral vendor, 2 regular size ground beef tacos with cheese and tomato from their taco stand, 2 Apricot preserves in a jar, got fresh berries. 5 Peaches, Strawberries, and blueberries, and one cup of decaf. Coffee to enjoy with my croissant. Place was clean, and dogs were very annoying being in the presence of food and people. They have dried fruit, nuts, few clothes, jewelry, and more.. A small pony ride with carousel in the back for kid's entertainment. Everything was overly priced and not worth paying the money for. You can get all that at your nearest grocery store for a lot more affordable prices. It was worth giving this place a try though.. I think I will stick to my Studio City Farmers market that is literally 5 minutes away from my house. They also don't have parking, but it is somewhat more manageable than this one was..Remaining food that doesn't sell, they make a donation to the nearest charities!

Spanning over 2 blocks, there are over 30 vendors on site and everyone was generously offering samples. You could get full trying them all. There is also a vintage market behind Club Tee-Gee, where you'll score some cool used clothing and accessories. Parking is difficult. I found a spot a few blocks away. If I lived locally, I'd be here every Sunday. If time allows, make a day of it and visit all the cool shops & eateries along Glendale Blvd. *Cash preferred.

It's open air so listen, if you go during a hot sunny day like I did, you're going to need something cold to cool you down. I suggest a 40 or a cold brew if you don't drink lol Or I would say, bring those battery operated personal fans. I tried Villas Tacos, and I love the use of blue corn tortilla. They got a sampler dish if you don't know what to eat. I also ate Thai food, and that was amazing too. Literally, so many spots to try out. Food heaven for the foodies. Parking. I mean, I paid at the lot next to it but I paid $10 before a certain hour.. all day too! I think there's a parking garage next to it but idk the prices or anything. Definitely a must try. That was my experience at Tomas' tacos. I ordered 2 tacos for $5 each. I thought the price points was high until I realized I could make 4 tacos from 1! And they tasted good. My daughter had a burger fries from a neighboring business and she said it was delicious. I tasted her fries and those were definitely delicious. For dessert, we opted for McConnells ice cream. The flavors were unique and good. They offered samples when requested which was a nice gesture but their portions were tiny. I paid $8 for 4oz cop of ice cream. The Central Market is definitely worth visiting. There were celebrity chef demonstrations and meals available as well as multiple food options to choose from.

I accidentally side quested into here and it was a pleasant experience. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies from local sources, small indie businesses and artisans and lots of people walking their dogs. I went during the mid morning so it was getting hot, but the farmer's market was in the shade of some of the taller buildings which is nice. I got some delicious poke and ceviche that was packed with some ice and with all of the utensils. Vendor was super friendly and made some small talk regarding the convention and some anime series. Very rare to have small talk with a non normie, so that was refreshing! Got to enjoy all of our food after I got to the con and it wasn't decimated by security. Big plus! Also before I left, I got some mango sorbet with tajin to the side and it was a huge portion for $5 and very refreshing in the growing July heat. Next AX, if I park near this farmer's market, I'll do another walkthrough for sure!

There's several vendors out there, but again, LA is definitely lacking the produce that Bakersfield Farmer's Market has. It's nice to see all the food vendors since I love checking out all the delicious stands, but the point of coming to the Farmer's Market for me is the produce and fresh baked bread or organic items made by local vendors. This Farmer's Market is not as busy as the other one I recently visited; however, it is a lot smaller and literally on the street so maybe that's why it's not as busy. There's so many food options that it seems more like a food event then a Farmer's Market. I really do love that this one stays open til later since a lot of Farmer's Market are only open in the morning. It's good for the people who wake up late or don't like going out early mornings. Parking is pretty crazy, so good luck. If you live in the area then you're pretty lucky just to walk here. This Farmer's Market is pretty close to tons of businesses so it's accessible to a lot of people, it's just the parking that's crazy. I'm not a local, so if you locals have tips for us then that would be great! I definitely would love to come back to see if they offer other stuff. I happened to come late which is probably why there weren't any produce.

We took the Metro - A Line over to the South Pasadena Station and we could immediately smell the delicious barbecue and hear the live music from the market nearby. Follow your senses! I think taking the Metro would be easier than finding parking since it was really busy. We were both surprised about how large this farmers' market was with many food vendors, artisan goods, and of course fresh fruits and vegetable taking up multiple streets. Definitely the type of place you want to go to enjoy some snacks here, and then take some produce and goods home. One of the first things I saw were oysters but we were patient and decided to walk through the whole market first to see what our options are. After walking through the whole event, we came back for the oysters, and also got some roasted corn and a nutella crepe. Yum! Also we both felt like the prices with the vendors here were all very fair and reasonable. As my boyfriend puts it, you can get some of your favorite fair snacks without being price gauged. Also, there is a free museum in the area about the history of Pasadena that is open late on Thursdays to align with the farmers' market. Overall I felt like this is one of the biggest farmer markets I've been to with a wide variety of snacks, vendors, goods, and entertainment. Thursdays are normally hard for us to trek to the area after work, but I would definitely be back when my schedule allows. I'll bring my big cooler bag next time to take more goodies home with me.

It has been surprisingly difficult to find truly fresh fruits, vegetables, and produce, but this place pretty much had it all. They carry a wide variety of seeded fruits and produce from different parts of the world, and everything looked fresh and natural rather than overly processed or mass-produced. I'm almost hesitant to leave this review because I don't want the spot to get so popular that I can never find the fruit I'm looking for again. The woman working behind the register was also extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. She allowed my brother and me to sample a few fruits that were new to us and gave us background and insight into where they came from and what made them unique. I would absolutely recommend Sasoun Produce, especially for health fanatics and anyone who may not get the opportunity to travel but still wants to experience fruits from different parts of the world.
