The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Very disappointed. I liked the atmosphere and the menu, but two problems ruined the visit. First, the flies. The bakery display where the breads and pastries sit out has flies all over it -- big ones and small ones, landing on the pastries and the loaves, occasionally swatted away when staff reach in to grab something for a customer. I'd planned to buy a few items and changed my mind on the spot. It took my appetite down a notch, too. Then we were seated, and the service problems started. Twenty-five minutes passed with no one stopping by -- no order taken, no water, no server in sight. We finally flagged down a passing employee, who went off to find out who our waiter was. He came back with a name and assured us that person would be over shortly. Our actual server surfaced about thirty minutes after we sat down, apologized, and said they were shorthanded. It didn't improve from there: 20 minutes to get drinks and get the server back to place our order 45 minutes for the food to arrive 20 minutes to get the check Zero water refills the entire meal Somewhere in the middle of that, a manager came by to chat, acknowledged the slow service, and offered us something from the bakery on the house. She was also very apologetic. It was a lot of liquid and glass was all over the floor. We were never moved even after I suggested we move. She just mopped and swept while we were still sitting there. Honestly, we should have just left. It was such an awkward experience from then on. Someone (maybe the manager?) stopped by to say sorry and gave my dad a couple of napkins, but between all the chaos of the incident it definitely wasn't memorable. At the end she asked about birthday dessert for my 4 year old and so I assumed it was complimentary considering what had just happened. It wasn't. We don't like to make a scene and we didn't want to totally ruin lunch for our kid's sake. We kindly paid our $90 bill and we didn't even stay to get an entree. This isn't a cheap restaurant and we expected more from a situation as this. Again, I understand that stuff like this happens, but I feel like the situation was not handled well. The queso fundito came with roasted corn and a garlic toast while the shrimp empanadas were plated on top of a bed of salad. The empanadas were a nice size and I would totally order these just for myself for lunch. I added a shrimp tempura taco to round out my meal. It was juicy, a bit spicy because of the jalapeno mayo, and overall a nice way to end my meal. I'll wrap this up by congratulating them on landing a spot on Yelp's Best New Restaurants list for 2025. Only 100 businesses in the ENTIRE country get on the list - so this is huge. Based on my experience, well deserved. Definitely give them a visit soon!
