I so wanted to like this place. I really did!! The interior was void of personality. However, the staff were great and very courteous. But, the food was below mid. It had no flavor, tasted odd ( looked delicious) and the topping on the fries just fell off into a pile on the bottom of the basket. The fries were just a run of the mill frozen crinkle cut french fries. The sauce they have sitting on the table, Awesome Sauce, was pretty good. However, after I was done eating I realized the bottle was marked as " refrigerate after opening". It was warm. then the Dr. Pepper....was out... the Coke was weak and so was the Sprite. About three hours later...... well I will spare you the unpleasantries... let's just say my body was not reacting well to something. I'm not going to blame this spot but it raised some concern. I would advise to just steer clear of this place and go to McDonald's instead.

We have been eyeing Main Event Grill ever since it replaced Kriner's Burger and Pies in Mt. View last year. Though the interior remains the same, the menu offers a fresh variety of choices. I finally decided to try the cheeseburger rolls, while my partner opted for the barnyard burger--a combo of a bacon cheeseburger topped with buffalo crispy chicken. Both came with a side of garlic parm fries. Our meals arrived quickly and hot. Unfortunately, the soda fountain was a letdown, serving flat sodas despite a previous complaint in the Yelp reviews from a month ago. I mentioned it to the staff, but it seems like a recurring issue. The cheeseburger rolls were tasty, though definitely on the heavier side. Next time, we'll likely share a dish and add some veggies to balance it out. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu!

So I came here a second time. The first was very good and they followed directions. But the second otime was a disaster. I ordered the same thing I did last time. Two food trucks burgers. One with no lettuce or tomatoes. I also wanted they to put the fries in one box and the burgers in one. I got onion rings with one. The employees must not know how to read English because they got both one my requests wrong. The place was busy. It was clean too. If it wasn't for the mistakes I would come back. I will be back for a salad. That's one thing they can't mess up. I hope. I went there and three people who worked there must not be able to understand English. I repeated how I wanted my food three or four times. It was Aug 23,2024.

Service was good. Clean eating area. Food very expensive and just okay. Doubt will ever return.

It was only a matter of time before we finally got to this side of town to visit their 2nd location. 907Alehouse took over a building that used to be a taco place (we never got to visit), and before that I believe it was a Firetap Alehouse second location. It's the perfect size bar/restaurant. Very clean and bright inside. Extra long booths for families and some tables in the middle section with a really nice bar area off to the side. Large TV's hang on the walls for sports games. Both the food and drink menus are noticeably smaller here. The brew/local tap selection is a lot smaller at this location. They serve some mixed bowls here that they don't at Old Seward, but they were able to accommodate special requests we made such as "chowder fries." Service was superb here. Food came out fast and hot. They had a special holiday drink menu that I quite enjoyed. We can't wait to return for a sports breakfast someday.

I had their Po' Boy Shrimp special and it was a lot of sandwich , bread was soft, shrimp were huge and crispy. My husband had the Fish and Chips and loved it, he said it was crispy on the outside but nice and soft on inside. Our server was attentive and so friendly. The space was loaded with TV's playing sports, Rodeo's, and music , more pub atmosphere but not noisy it was perfect! I would recommend and would definitely eat here again. Prices were compatible for the area.

They've got a solid variety of Alaska brews on tap, way more than your average spot, so it's easy to try something new or stick with a favorite. It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."

I'm glad that they had beer flights because I was unable to decide what kind I wanted. With some assistance from the bartender I chose 4 beers and every single one of them was wonderful. I would absolutely go back if I'm ever in Anchorage again. It does get a little bit loud and it gets very crowded so be prepared to either wait, or sit at the bar. It is open seating, you check in at the host stand and they'll give you a menu and you just find a place to sit. All in all it was a wonderful time and the food was great. I don't like fish, so for me to say that, you know it was good!

The servers seemed a little new, but the service was good and friendly. They carry Frontier brand sodas which we found to be excellent for their flavor. We got root beer and ripe raspberry soda. I ordered the Chili AK Salmon Bowl which our server confirmed is wild salmon. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Both meals were really good. I especially liked the sauce on the salmon bowl so much so that I asked for a little more only to be charged for the extra sauce. I also noticed they include a service charge on the bill (note that this was not gratuity). They told us it was to help them get seasonal labor and to cover overhead. Maybe this is an Alaska thing, but with menu prices as high as these, why would you need to add a service charge? Pricing and nickel & diming aside, I would recommend this place.

I ordered the Western Burger Zone but substituted pepper jack cheese for the American and no mayonnaise with tots on the side. The food only took about 5 to 6 minutes to come out from ordering. The burger was massive and was fresh off the grill as it was nice and hot. There was at least near a pound of brisket, it seemed, on top of the patty, and I was shocked there was so much for $17. Unfortunately, while the burger was super juicy as well as the brisket, there was not much flavor coming from the actual burger or brisket. It seemed like there had been no seasoning put on either minus some salt. A majority of the taste came from the added side of BBQ sauce or the two onion rings on the burger. While I was fully all the way into the evening from lunch, I felt that the burger would have been stellar if it packed some flavor. I unfortunately can see why it was dead, as it's a place I would not go back to if all the food is that bland.
