Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a few friends. We didn't have to wait long to be seated in the restaurant, it was seating for my party of 8 and our waitress Erin was beyond accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu! She was working A LOT of tables and we never felt like we was being forgotten about. Highly recommend her as a server and she should be the example of what great customer service and treating customers like family should be!!! My only complaint is the gift shop they never have prizes in my child's budget that's worth all the money spent. That marketing I guess lol! read more

This review is more based off of the service than the venue. Attended for my little cousins birthday on a Saturday, already understanding that it would be busy because it is a Saturday after all but that wasn't the problem. The issues came from purchasing the all-you-can-play passes, game cards, and basic logic skills. The only good thing was the food and drinks ...... and all I had was buffalo wings, wine and water so ... there's that lol can't really mess those up. But, ON TO THIS REVIEW. The way that the times for the activities overlap when you pre-schedule them is ridiculous. You sign up quite well in advance and then by the time you're finished with your activities, if you mix your next slot you're expected to wait AGAIN in like due to the scheduling. I understand the need to be prompt with the time but if I'm one is having to wait in line due to instructions by members on your team or kids lingering, which they are likely to do because .. they're kids, is there any way that one could really even comply with the time when it's extremely busy? Don't like that. Additionally, if a party of nine requests to bowl, why would anyone allow the party to be reserved one lane if there is a maximum of six bowlers? We all received our shoes from a guy who looked relatively agitated and ready to go anyway. His attitude was extremely short but after receiving the shoes, another lady walked us over to the lanes and said "only 6 people are bowling right?" As if she was not there when all 9 people received bowling shoes. Now it's not a problem, as a lot of our party were old enough to not really be pressed about bowling at that moment but don't attempt to insult my intelligence by acting as if you didn't just see that everyone got shoes. Then she asked if we "told" the guy reserving it was for more than 6? The tickets have the number of people printed on it! Did I need to spell it out? There was a man, who I assume is the manager of the bowling area, that was very understanding, apologetic, and helpful in getting us additional time but the others left an extremely bad impression on me. To me, it seemed as if they just don't care because it wasn't their money and that's cool or whatever, but don't play with me and mine. The first group of staff had the audacity to say that there was basically nothing they could do besides put us back on the list and that would put us at bowling AFTER midnight .. not even offering to add time to the lane that we were already on lol. There were so many lanes that weren't being used for at least thirty minute increments. No logic. But again, maybe that ties back to that timing with the activities things, huh? Smh. We had already been there since about 5 and our first set of games didn't start until around 7. There was a lot of other minuscule things to occur which turned me off but the kicker was at the end of the night when the birthday girl's game card turned up missing. I get it, no liability on their part due to someone else's theft but, somebody cashed out in about 5 minutes. Everything she had worked for since 5pm ... gone. It was about 11:30 pm at that point. She's 7 and was playing air hockey with my sister very close to the rewards station. Card vanishes off the table. Thankfully we had other cards, right? Well after they played around with that one a little more, we check the balance .... 0. Hundreds of points when we checked earlier but now, nothing? HUH? Again, been here and playing since 5pm. It's 11:45ish now. How are we back to 0? Then the cashier says it appears that someone transferred the balance of the card on to another card 5 minutes prior to us asking ....... girl, HOW??? When we've had the card the whole time????? And had just finished playing a game? LOL so are y'all checking cards at the end of the night and transferring points? It's a shame that this location isn't very good and SEVERELY poorly managed. The place was dirty and everything was sticky. Most of the games were broken or out of order, we ended up having to wait forever in line 4 times to get refunds for games that didn't work. When we tried to get something to eat, the host kept ignoring us until we had to ask to get a table and then he wouldn't give us any menus and then we were ignored by the server completely. We eventually just got up and left because the table was gross, covered in food still. They hadn't bothered to bus the table completely before seating us. The staff was highly overwhelmed; seemed like one manager and a bunch of teens running the whole place. Parents weren't controlling their kids at all; they'd cut in front of other people, grabbing prizes from the prize area then running off with them, throwing food/drinks on other people, etc. Finally, the cherry on top was the fight between grown adults that broke out during someone's birthday. So we got a table for seven , when they sat us down there was clearly a table for twelve sitting down next to us ready to leave. The food order was horrible loaded fries didn't have some of the stuff waited so long i went to check,saw the girl talking with her coworkers. Worst part is a few of us worked at a different Main Event location and still in disbelief as to how other guest needed help; and no-one was around to help but you can find them off talking to each other but never the guest. This is probably the worst Main Event I've ever been to. We had made reservations they said their machine wasn't showing anything and took an arm and leg to get to a bowling lane. They put us in two broken lanes and couldn't figure out how to fix. We proceeded to ask multiple times to switch lanes and finally they do. These lanes continually would force down pins and mess up. Multiple times talking to staff and the manager, we decided to just make due bc they gave us more time. Our games all suddenly ended way before our original time was up. The manager was passive aggressively rude, he also never showed his name badge but a young Spanish male with hair combed to the left in a black jacket. Never got food or beverage service during bowling so we had to get kids drinks at the bar, even the party area manager wouldn't assist when we asked. We took the kids down to the game area and had to wait at multiple games due to staff using machines. I do not know who manages this place but it is a highly do NOT recommend and would NOT go back. This place has no maintenance on their games so probably half the games are not working. And the ones that do work are usually not in good working condition either such as the 5 skeeball games and 3/5 of them have no balls in them. Also every claw machine is very very very delayed in its actions so you can not position the claw in the time given to play. All in all I would save your money and go somewhere else if you plan on playing games. read more

Hello, good evening. I wasn't even supposed to be here and I just got home. My mom wanted me to go up there and help my sister out at the main event. We only live 10 minutes away but I did not want to go up there, sure enough, I did. I got to the main event around 7:00 PM and I had to help my 17-year-old sister with getting a lane for bowling. Well, when she walked in she was greeted at the door by Leah but when she made it passed the kiosk she honestly didn't know what to do. She is afraid to ask for help and she is scared to even do things by herself. So I had to go up there and help her and that's when I ran into Chloe and I was like hey how do we bowl that's when she pointed to the kiosk and they will help you there. Okay great, As I'm standing there asking another employee to help, she seems not to interested in helping us no big deal. She kinda made me feel like I can do it myself but anywho. Here I am trying to work the kiosk and me and my sister are trying to figure out, how many people, how many lanes, and shoe sizes like OMG! This is so difficult, I would rather wait in line and speak to people behind a dest than deal with this kiosk bullshit. They only allowed 5 people on one Tv that's insane so if you have more than 5 people you are required to get two lanes. More than 5 to 8 people two lanes were going to be $200 for 2 hours that is insane. So we said nope let's do four people for $70 for 1 hour. That's better. As we are all standing there with all her friends. I had Janoel come up behind me all in space, "do y'all need help" no and I was on the phone with my mom trying to figure out if this price is okay with my mom. I have my sister on the side of me and I have 7 of her friends trying to get there shoe size and there names like omg and Janoel is just all in my personal space and I turned around and I asked him what is the problem and he was like, you have people waiting in line and I was like there is one right there and he made the comment this one takes cash and this customer is paying cash.. like seriously? Sorry, we are trying to figure this the kiosk doesn't tell you prices until you're at the checkout and he was just all up in my business and hovering around me like, he could have asked me to move to that one but it was like such a big deal to get on this one but whatever. I went to go talk to Leah and Chloe about everything that had to happen and I was just about to lose my mind on everything like sister had been up for 2 hours trying to figure out how all this works and now she has to wait another hour on to bowl like wtf? So for the inconvenience of all that Chloe offered my sister and her friend laser tag for the inconvenience of what happened with everything. I do appreciate everything Chloe did and I even hugged her because I was just livid after all that and my sister and her friends were so excited about laser tag. It disappoints me to have to share how what began as a busy yet pleasant experience for my family as we celebrated my son's birthday at the Main Event -Humble location soon turned into one the most AWFUL experiences possible. It was a Sunday evening, quite busy (which is to be expected, but didn't bother us), and our kids began with the arcade while waiting for laser tag (15min wait) and bowling (3hr wait...no biggie). They played, tagged, and dined on pizza in the restaurant which was all nice while my fiancé and I dined at the bar. Sound too good to give such a low rating, right?? Well, after being discouraged from even getting on the list by two M.E. team members for "fear of there not being enough time for our family to bowl before the midnight closure due to some many banquets going on with the possibility of the computer-generated waitlist being misleading" [keep in mind its only 7 pm at this point], we proceeded to get on the 3hr waiting list anyway for sake of our kids since that was one of the primary reasons for our visit - besides, they were enjoying the other activities while waiting. On to bowling...you know, the lane that might "never become available due to some many other large banquets/groups already being on the list". I take the kids to get shoes and the attendant was very kind and helpful...even offered to bring our shoes to the lane assigned to us. With excitement, we proceed to put on our shoes when my daughter notices the pair she has is a bit too small. So, she goes back over to the rental booth to exchange them. Unfortunately, the first attendant who worked with us was not there...no one was there. No biggie...here's two other ladies in purple M.E. uniform shirts that could help. NOPE! My child asks them both about exchanging her shoes only for them to ignore her and LAUGH at her in her face as if she was some joke or gag them for asking. My fiancée and I are watching waiting hoping we're not witnessing what we're seeing...and these two women continue to IGNORE OUR CHILD as if they're just waiting to get off work! I took my 17 yr old son and 3 of his friends for my son's birthday. They did the all day passes and had a wonderful time! It was amazing they good go and play the games, bowl, laser tag, etc. Then my parents and I bowled and had fun too. The customer service was absolutely amazing and everyone was so friendly. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing as well. I highly recommend the Triple Dip as an appetizer and the Chicken Cesear Salad. I enjoy this place especially for the Humble area because we don't have to go all the way to Dave & Busters to be able to enjoy this kind of stuff. They have something for everybody on the menu. Their food and drinks are good. Nice and clean, still looks brand new. I usually come to bowl but it books up really fast. You can reserve online which is good however I'm never solid on weekend plans to commit to being on time for anything. They also have laser tag, pool tables and some kind of sky walk which I'll have to try soon. The arcade games are plentiful. I was able to play about six games with a $10 card. Prices vary per machine but I'm usually racing or playing basketball. I recommend the Eat and Play combos if you're going to get food or play any of the arcade games. I don't think they have a time or day limit like Dave and Buster's does, I was able to order the deal on a Saturday evening. Your meal comes with the game card ranging from $10 to $30. read more

This place is the bomb for parties and events!! Our grandson Eli turned 7 and was so excited! Everything is well organized and the staff are friendly and willing to help make sure everyone has fun. Amy was assigned to our group and she was fantastic. She said she loves kids and you could certainly tell. She worked super hard and each part of the party came off without a hitch. The kids did bowling and laser tag and were able to do the arcade games in between. The center is also super clean and well staffed. Big bonus: the food was really good. We were not expecting that but they have a full kitchen and each item was very good quality. The only suggestion I would make to parents is stay close to your children. It seems like people who don't belong might have easy access to children. That did make me a little nervous because when we came in, there was no one checking us in and there didn't seem to be any official security. Main event is a lot of fun- we went early on a Sunday and it was really nice- plenty of bowling space, laser tag, a zip line, obstacle course, and arcade games made for a great place to take my kids during a rainy weekend. Around early afternoon (1/2p) it started to get pretty crowded which made it less pleasant but still a good time for my kids. They observe covid guidelines as well as they can I guess- two lanes share a large booth type space- when we arrived every lane was spaced out so that only 1 lane was in each booth space as we neared the end of our third game another family was in our booth. Fortunately it was over soon after. I took away one star because some of the games were broken- the air hockey table we played at wouldn't release the puck at first. Then an agent came and hit the machine to get it out but then once we started playing the table wasn't keeping score at all and our time was up soon after- even though we had to wait for someone to get the puck. Another couple games my kids stood/sat at to play together but upon swiping their cards we found one or the other if not both were broken (we weren't charged). The place was too chaotic to leave to get someone and try to come back to play. Overall we still had a good time and the all day pass that's available before noon is a good buy- even if you just bowl its worth it. Do NOT spend your money here. We paid $30 for bowling just for the lanes to not even mark our points. After 4 turns my husband went to talk to the attendant and waited for 20 minutes while she was tending to other guests. 1 attendant for the entire bowling area. She switched us to a different lane and said she would add time back (she did not). After 2 turns at the new lane it locked up and broke. We were over it. We asked for a refund in the form of arcade credit. We went to the arcade and half of the games took the credit when we swiped the fun card and it still didn't start - WTF. We went to the little shop and I asked the cashier "Are you aware that half of the games do not work?" And she said YES. she stated the contractors messed up the games when moving them and they are waiting for them to be fixed. The games were operating and taking credits, but not working. What a joke. So disappointed at how dirty this place is. Seems like it's gone completely downhill within the last year or so. Paid for bowling and they stuck us in a broken lane (22). We have brought my son for some family time, brought friends for a night out with drinks and again when my family came in town for their Monday night special. There are a few key factors you have to know before coming to not piss yourself off. Know where to sign up so you're not waiting in double lines. Also, know if you get the unlimited funpass you have to sign up for time slots. You cant just walk up to the rope thing or laser tag line. Upon arrival, that particular location doesn't have Mini Golf. Needless to say, it was a little frustrating cause we could've went somewhere else. Supposedly you can pay 12.99 to play endless games or activities , well first of all half the games did not work I kid you not it was ridiculous , or they had the " coming soon "' on it.
