As an adult, the super slow service brought it down to a 3. Which still isn't too bad. But for a business that hires mostly teenagers - that aren't too motivated to offer fast service at the bar, with the food, coordinating our birthday party - it's a pain. I think some of the staff needs some retraining. There were a few hiccups here and there, but so many activities going on - pool, bowling, laser tag, arcade games, a pizza and gelato cafe, a diner, a bar ... it's a good spot for birthdays or other kid-friendly celebrations. read more

I went for a kid's birthday party. I thought it was really nice. They have a huge area to sit down and eat. I ordered on the tablet located at the table and my food came out quickly. The food was average and a bit pricey, in my opinion. They have a lot of couches for people to sit. Since I wasn't playing (only supervising my son) I thought that was convenient. We were told since there was a wait we only got one hour of ALL DAY PLAY and we had to get on the wait list and pay again to continue playing. This is our first time at this Main Event location. I will say so far having a really great experience! All the staff seem to be very knowledgeable. Any questions we had was answered really seamlessly. Victoria our waitress was very attentive. She always checked in on us and had a friendly vibe. In which a person's energy (despite how tired they might be) means a lot to me. It shows professionalism. And it shows me I will have a great experience. They have had excellent customer service both times I've been here. The most recent time the manager gave us 4 free game cards to use while we were waiting on the "all you can play" promotion to start. They don't allow you to get tickets but they kept the kids busy until it was time to bowl. Thanks!! The food here isn't that bad either. We always get the wings and they are nice size and always fresh tasting. The nachos and pizza is also pretty good. The only bad thing is that there isn't ample seating near the arcade area. This is very inconvenient if you (the adults) want to hang out and eat and drink while the kids are playing. Staff was very friendly and attentive, especially Todd (the Manager), he was hilarious and went above and beyond. Our food was hot and fresh, tasted great and our drinks were good, our orders were all correct (and we had a party of 10+). The place was very clean, staff moved quickly to disinfect tables and area after parties would leave, to make room for new parties all over the establishment. Amazing fun in Katy! I have made this a frequent spot for fun with the kids and even just a cool date. The light up bowling lanes are super fun, as are the newish pool tables. My favorite thing to do here is play all the arcade games! The have a regular section and a smaller section for smaller kids. One of the most popular activities here is the Lazer tag and sky walk. This location also has a kitchen and a small dining area. You can order things like pizza, salads, ect.... With such an amazing place full of fun for all ages you'd figure this place would earn 5 stars from me...right??? The only thing stealing that last star is THE FOOD! This place by far has the most bland food in the universe. I ordered the chips and salsa,ranch dip, and guacamole, the bacon cheese fries, and a 18 in pizza. The chips and dips were all super bland! It wasn't seasoned with anything. The fries were bad too. The only slightly saving grace was the pizza... oh my goodness.... .do you have friends with stomach issues?? 3 Years later and I think I should add a star. The first time we came here for a kid's birthday, it was complete chaos, but this time around they were a well oiled machine. The reserved lanes were ready, the wait staff got everybody's orders and as soon as the time was up, we were escorted to the eating area where the pizza and other foods were ready and everything went as planned like clock work. I looked around on a Saturday afternoon and there must have been a dozen kids' parties going on at the same time and as soon as one would end, they would come and clean out the table and the next 7 year old would feel like a princess or whatever. I think this place offers enough balance for adults and kids alike to not drive everybody crazy, but it's definitely more oriented towards family first so it's a far cry from the old smokey bowling allies full of drunk adults that you might remember in the olden days. Then again, this is in Katy so what do you expect? There is plenty of parking (Again, it's Katy, not midtown), the food is generic but ok, they do have alcohol, and apparently they make velcro bowling shoes now. read more

*quick tip : summer pass is worth it! You'll be there for a good 3-5 hours* adult experience - did not attend a child's bday party. This place made me feel like a Teenager again! If only they had a roller rink inside it be perfect! My adult cousin celebrated her bday here on a Saturday night. We did the 'summer pass' for adults $17.95? Pretty much offered all the activities except for the arcade games. It was worth it.. We were there from 8:30pm-1am! It's great for a group, everyone purchased their own wrist band & if you don't want to partake in the activities you can just lounge around. The bowling will take about 1-3 hrs wait, depending if you're requesting for 2+ lanes. We weren't on a schedule, and just went with the flow. If you're on a time frame, I don't suggest spending your time waiting around. We started off with pool, slowly our party was growing. Some started bowling; the kids did this 'gravity' rope thing or laser tag. I believe 2 hours later we were able to connect our bowling time with our group. Even though the pass says unlimited bowling, you only get to play one game per lane. If its not busy, you can request for more time or you'll have to be back on the waiting list. Which I find fair for others to get a chance to play. The crowd died down after 11pm. We started doing laser tag. Able to play a few rounds. Warning: it can get very hot, if you're really serious into the game! As chaotic this place may look, it's quite clean to me. Food is alright, don't expect something 5 star. There's a food court, bar, or wait service for full menu. Pizza is pan crust, very heavy & dense. Chicken tenders & fries are ok. The queso on the nachos is quite interesting...weird. But still got you coming back for more. Just a reminder, the majority of the staff are teenagers. Give them a break on top notch customer service. read more

Very cheap and very fun, even for adults, with no time limit or limitations on the number of time you play each game/event. Definitely a great place to unwind and have some fun. Yes, it was Saturday 430pm it was a exciting and busy day for everyone there except the bar employees. No greeting as we walked in, sat down and looked for service. They even acknowledged the other people walking up to the bar as we sat there still waiting for a simple greeting, menus and to swipe off the counter top. I had to interrupt the people order which to walked up to get some assistance while we had been sitting there waiting and looking. I also saw how a/the bartender looked at the gentleman bar back as he was trying to help free up some space for clean glasses. It was the most racist dirty look ever. I am not sure what's been going on over at the location but it wasn't many of us in there and if they been getting this type of service/treatment I see why they would not frequent this place. Not to mention, I had to stop them again and ask where was the food I orde after 20 minutes which was only boneless wings and fries, the fries cold and I was all the way over this location by then.
