Paid for 2 hours of bowl on two lanes + spent over 100$ in food and drinks. We spent over 30 minutes waiting for our balls to come back as they continuously got stuck. Older gentleman behind the counter was rude to us. Every time we went to ask for assistance it was as if we were in the wrong. Would have been reasonable to extend our play due to all of the standing around waiting for our balls to be returned. Definitely no stars from me. My teenager son usually does his party here since he's a little older it's chill and fun for him and his friends. Last party we had. Our host was terrible. Me and my husband pretty much did his work. Not too happy with the service. He took very long to do or get anything. No refills. Forgetting orders. No utensils. Nothing. And the list goes on. Mind that we spend quite a lot since we have over 30 kids bowling and plus their parents at the party. We told a a manager (event coordinator) and she gave us a 2 hour pass 4 people. Just last week. Brought along my 6 yo with his twin friends that's also 6 yo and my 2 older boys 13/15. Customer service at the front desk was definitely very unpleasant. Didn't catch her name since they don't wear name tags but she's a tall long hair curly haired. The attitude of this girl I'm beyond speechless. I came in to have a good time with my kids and their friends and this girl definitely ruined it for us. As much as possible I gave her a chance to redeem herself, maybe she was just having a bad day. But I was wrong. The way she treated me and talked to me was unheard of. I've worked in Vegas all my life and costumer service is everything. And This girl just didn't give any $;$&( at all. I've also bowled before and been on a league so one question I asked n requested was to be away from people as I have little kids with me out of respect from other bowlers. "She replied with an attitude "well there's people everywhere " !! I just looked at her because when people don't care about their jobs it definitely shows. This girl had a mouth on her. Every question I asked just had a smart ass answer. It's sad because we give them business all the time and we spend quite a lot when we have our parties but that will probably the last birthday party we will have there. When you work at the front of the house. your the face of the company. And the way you treat your costumers are the reflection of the company. This girl has been therefor quite some time because the past years she's always have that shitty attitude. she needs to be re-trained on how to talk and engage with costumers. This is the bowling alley that the pro shop is located where I purchased my new ball. I came back here a day or two later to get in a little practice. I found out that they also have a senior citizen discount which scored points for me. They also have the new electronic scoring as do most all of the bowling alleys do now. I found it very easy to use. It seems to be very well kept up and I bowled a few games and then left. I could easily have a lot against bowling. With the previously worn shoes, the smoky bar areas, and the enthusiasts passing judgment on you every time you toss the ball in the gutter, one has to wonder what the appeal is here. Even though I am not a skilled bowler, somehow I like it. I love the sound of the pins being knocked over. I marvel at the little computers that keep score for you. I adore the way the ball disappears and then returns to you after you throw it in a less than impressive way. When I want the simple pleasure of bowling, I go to Copperfield Bowl. I'm really fairly bad and not competitive enough to care but I have fun trying to knock the pins down. It is substantially more entertaining when I pretend I know what I am doing and start to beat the other bowlers in my group (this never lasts long). Copperfield Bowl is open for my pleasure 7 days a week and they keep late night hours so you can bowl in your funky shoes well into the night. For fun, they even offer adult birthday packages as well as children's. Personally, I think this would be a great time - you grab your greasy food and beer from The Grill and bowl until they kick you out. I'll never be a skilled bowler. While it is fun to bowl here, do not expect anything good out of the staff! Rude, surly, and arrogant. They are so busy talking together and not paying attention to the lanes. These 20-somethings play horrible screeching loud music but don't you dare complain! They will up the volume! It is very distracting when trying to concentrate during league play to listen to acid rock. We are SENIORS, we don't appreciate that type of music! Been coming here since the 90s, have always liked it. Many years ago they were 24 hours! Here lately it seems like they care more about hosting tournaments/leagues than being a place for people in the community to come in a bowl at any time. Second time I have come here and it was closed to the public because of a tournament. No sign at the door and no one paying us any attention when we stood at the counter. The last time they said tournaments were Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. This time it was Sunday afternoon. You just won't know unless you call or show up and walk in and ask. We walked in and the place just had a really weird vibe. The people didn't even look like they were from Houston. Judging by some of the other reviews this has been a common occurrence. You should have a few lanes open for the general public even if it means some will have to wait. Went before and this is what they did. Some of the employees act like government workers. You know those people that look like they have the life sucked out of them because they have been doing the same task so long? Last time we bowled here the girl kept answering the phone and making us wait instead of putting the caller on hold and finishing us up. Won't be returning for awhile. We kept tripping over tile on way to lane, inter-com button never worked on 2 lanes, ball kept getting stuck so we'd have to walk over to the desk and wait on other people that we were in line. Copperfield bowl goes above and beyond to keep everything clean. They are constantly cleaning especially when people are done with their lanes. They have cheap beer and good bar food. I haven't been to many bowling lanes, but Copperfield Bowl has stayed pretty consistent as I've grown up in Cypress. Not the greatest place, but a solid, well-kept spread of lanes. There are almost always both seasoned bowlers and novices (like me) here, which is a good sign. Check their website for deals because prices vary; for example, this summer, bowling is $2 on Tuesdays. You can also purchase food while you bowl, and there's a seating area just for eating, but I wouldn't count on their food for a meal. read more

They also have passes for adults to bowl those games with their kids (or in my case little sisters) that are around $20. Invest in a cheap pair of bowling shoes and you have a summer's worth of fun for a steal. Aside from that spectacular program, they have 44 lanes that are very well maintained. Really some of the best in town, especially if you are looking to do serious bowling. They have a number of leagues and a pro shop with spectacular staff. Not a very friendly environment, there wasn't any music playing & there was no accommodations for younger children. I asked if my 3 yr old cousin could use one of those bowling ramps for kids & they told me it was only for special needs children. At every other bowling alley I've been too those ramps are for any kids who are having difficulties rolling a ball that's way to heavy for them. So I asked if they at least had smaller balls for kids & they said no.
