I went there for the first time on a Sunday with a few friends. Unfortunately, we selected the wrong activity package but upon speaking with the manager, Isiah, he accommodated us all and went above and beyond to help us get what we actually wanted. Thank you! We played bowling, played the arcade games, had dinner, drinks, and overall a great time. We loved it so much we decided to go again the very next day. Monday we went again but this time it was a little different; we played bowling again, laser tag, but when trying to order food the poor server was alone it seemed serving all of the people doing bowling so she only got us one drink and never came back. Thankfully she comped the drink as an apology and we are very grateful. We then tried to do their obstacle course that is up high but they decided to close early to clean it... we played a bit of pool afterwards and headed home. I'd say this place is awesome for bowling and pool but the arcade is more kid-centered. Laser tag isn't that spacious for bigger parties. Prices can be expensive. Also I wish they had the happy hour like other locations but they do not which is a bummer. Overall I'd give it an 8/10! read more

Me and my boyfriend did the entree & points combo. Our service at the restaurant was horrible, our table was dirty, every other table around us was dirty, it smelled like ketchup.. we got boneless wings with fries they were mid and cold. I had to get my own water, silverware, & napkins. I had to ask another server to help check us out because our server didn't know what she was doing. It's clean and everything seems to be functional. They are VERY understaffed (especially on weekdays). I brought my kids here 5-6 times over the past few months and I had to track down a staff member every single time. It's overpriced, but they're always running promotions so if you time it right and don't try to do everything, it's pretty much what you would expect from this type of place. I've only had the food when we came for a birthday party and it wasn't great, but it was definitely better than Gattitown. It doesn't have the go-karts and other rides that Malibu Jack's does, but for arcade games, laser tag, and bowling, it's not bad. read more

He had a 1v1 verse a dude who never plays and he got is BUTT KICKED. He had no finesse, and he was very easily made upset. He kept cheating against us and still lost. very bad customer service outside of the restaurant. it was not very clean, overflowing trash cans everywhere, bathrooms were not clean. we had a very bad interaction with the employees while trying to get Ice cream. they acted very annoyed at us wanting to buy something and we had multiple employees walk past us and not help us while we were standing at the kiosk with no one to check us out. they seemed very low on staff it felt like it took forever to get help while doing anything. the food was very good and good service there. read more

The Main Event in Lexington, KY needs some changes. I took my kids there Saturday April 29th around noon. Cons- the employees don't care and just go thru the motions. Lazy group. -the cost is high. There were 4 of us. We bought lunch (4 cheeseburgers, fries, n drinks) n paid over $75 dollars. It was also over $80 dollars for us to play Lazer Tag. Nearly $160 to eat n plat 2 games of lazer tag. We won't be going back. Pros- their cheeseburgers were ok. Recommendation to Main Event : Replace the current employees and find better ones that actually want to be there. -have a "Team Main Event" to play lazer tag with small groups. Our overall experience wasn't very good. There are 3 other better places in Lexington to play games at, go to them. Jim read more

So today we started at the arboretum to wear the children out a bit to start but I think it was the adults that were exhausted! Then my niece had gotten her children a season pass for skating so we decided to head to the Main Event. I took and purchased each child a card to play games so they can reload with the money they make reading books. So we played till they exhausted their $20 and yes, the youngest blew her siblings away with the most points of all! Then we decided to eat and had a surprise when the meal was like $70 less than I expected...something about kids eat free w adult on Tuesday or something. Everything was good.. I mean we aren't at a 5 star restaurant people! Here for children, but I and my niece enjoyed the salad w 2 burger Patty's. Service was really good and he treated the kids super. Then we did a round of bowling and topped it off w a 1/2 gallon of multiple types of ice cream and some lizzard candy and who knows what was in that bowl!!! Kids loved it and will not forgot the day. My husband and I visited on July 1st between 9-11 for date night. It was a catastrophe. The bartender (never caught her name) was either new or clueless. We placed a drink order after waiting for 20 minutes (in between her serving people who came up after us) only to wait another 20 mins while she continued to serve other people who came up after us before we just left. Paid 18.99 for all activities unlimited, tried 3 different times to do the ropes course and the workers were not interested in helping us. Each time there was a reason we couldn't do the course. Told us to come back in 20 minutes, we did then one walks away and locks the door with 12-15 kids waiting.. no idea how long those kids stood there because after 10 minutes, we left. Games were not working, games took our points, the points checker wasn't working. Buying things with the points was an act of congress. I have never been some where that cost over 200 bucks and service was this bad. The workers do not care at all about you or your children. They are only interested in talking to the other coworkers. We had lunch at the restaurant and after waiting 15 minutes to get drinks, the food was good but there was only 2 people waiting on about 15 tables, it was unbelievable. Seeing this from the outside and hearing the 'hype' around this new upscale and family fun location, I had high hopes for a good time. After walking in, the place is very attractive. Very colorful, clean, and technologically savvy. My party and I went to the kiosk and loaded up bowling for a family 5. Over $60 for one hour was a high price, but that's the price of upscale fun, wasn't totally unexpected. We paid cash (not typical for us) and the machine could not dispense a measly 13¢. The worker had to get her manager/trainer to see if he could do anything. He wasn't able to find a solution. He then looked at us and said, "Do you need your 13¢ right now?" It's not a lot of money, but that is not customer service. We carried on after a discussion with him to our bowling lane. Ordered a burger, beer, and two soft drinks. Burger was there first, then beer. 20 minutes later, still no soft drinks. Had to call the server twice to finally get one drink, not two, because she didn't hear me even though she acknowledged me. Time comes to pay, tablet doesn't work. After trying 3 times we had to go to the restaurant. But every time, without fail, the highest tip option was selected FOR ME. Not asked what I wanted to tip, nor did she show me she selected the option. After talking to management, I was given a full refund. The only good customer service experience of the night was that refund. The bowling and games were great, but just the experience stops me from going back. If I want bowling I can go to Southland for cheaper, and be just fine. Hopefully they can pick it up service wise. read more

Me and my friend waited in line for the ropes course thing for half an hour, the guy running it says for two more people to go forward. Me and my friend go forward and then after a minute of waiting the guy running the thing says we cut in line, and we had to go to the back. Instead of waiting another half hour we just left because we were upset with the unfairness. And to make matters worse two people cut in front of 80% of the line to get practically to the front and they were let onto it. This is a pretty bad place, the only thing I like about it that something like Malibu Jacks doesn't have is the Mario kart arcade machines. This place is a garbage dump. Literally worst experience you can ever imagine. Grossly understaffed for spring break, who does that? The staff they did have averaged a combined age of dropped off by mom and never taught any type of basic common sense or work ethic. Most of these young people were playing games and shootin the breeze wit they buddies instead of doing their jobs. Fail. The restaurant was so understaffed I stood at the bar filled with kids who's parents should of had em sittin in the booths for 20 minutes before I got attitude from the guy who's attention I was trying to get and decided to go to the auxiliary pizza spot that was decked out wit two 15 yo girls and three slices of pizza wit a line of 20 kids tryn get gelato.
