I would give them a minus if I could. They were supposed to deliver hospice supplies for my failing wife at a specific time. No one showed and they claimed they could not find a driver or vehicle. They insisted that they could deliver at a later time which would have violated my condo rules. Colleen told me the rules were stupid. Since I am the president of the board and have 19 years of education, I guess she really knows. They delivered the next day after some equivocation about the time. My wife was coming home at a specific time and although they met the time, they were not sure. Penn Medicine ordered a piece of equipment (a bedside elevated table for eating) which did not come. First and foremost, if you want some level of customer service...forget it. If you want accountability...forget that too. And if you want fair pricing, not so much. If these are things you look for in a vendor, then my all means, work with them. We contracted with Main Line to provide a hospital bed from our mother. We discussed having Medicare offset some of the cost. We provided Main Line with the necessary information from her doctors. No response. We received bills for the full amount, I called to question. No response. If you pick up the phone to call, you'll be asked to leave a voicemail. No response to a number of messages. If you contact them via email...you get the idea. Anyway, we paid monthly to keep current despite their lack of response. When our mother moved to another facility, I contacted them to question the billing. Again, no response after several calls and emails. I didn't pay the invoice due to concerns of being overcharged; 30 days later it was sent to a collection agency. That's another story. I agree with some of the other critical reviewers; run don't walk from this vendor. In fact, engage with this vendor at your own risk. I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

The social worker at my husband's rehab ordered a transfer bench. She was quoted $59; however, when the delivery arrived the cost was $89. The delivery person was very nice, but he couldn't do anything about the cost. I called Mainline to explain the situation, but they insisted that the correct price had been quoted. The social worker called them also, but with no luck. I feel that I was misled. At the time of delivery I needed the bench because my husband was coming home. I felt that I had to pay the price. I would have split the difference with the company, but they were insistent that they had not made an error. I will discourage my friends and acquaintances from procuring medical supplies from this place. We have other choices. read more

I was told by Riddle Hospital Physical Therapy that a walker would be covered by my insurance. Six months after my surgery, I received a bill from Main Line Medical Supplies for $126 for the walker. I called MLMS three times to find information on the claim and left detailed messages each time and NO ONE returned my calls. I received no further bills so I assumed they sorted it out. 17-months after my surgery I receive a statement from MLMS stating I now owed a late fee of $15 on top of the $126, and if I did not pay in 10-days they would submit my account for collections. I immediately made five more calls and left FOUR more messages for the billing dept and (surprise) no one has returned my calls. I did reach a customer service rep who did take an detailed message from me, read it back to me, and that she sent an urgent email to the billing department and told me they would return my call that day - two weeks later no one has yet to return my calls. I just went online to find the MLMS website to see if I could get a name of someone else to call, and I got an error that the WEBSITE DOES NOT EXIST. I decided to the legwork myself, so I call the hospital and learned that they did submit a claim for the walker. So I called who I had insurance with at that time and learned that the HOSPITAL and learned that they submitted the claim, but Mainline Medical Supplies was NOT an in-network provider!! Had MLMS responded to my calls in 2014, this issue could have been resolved way back in August of 2014... I called the hospital again and asked them why they would use a company that was not in my network. They could not give me an answer to that question; however they did give me a direct contact at MLMS. I called MLMS, again, and asked for that person. I was told that he does not have a direct line and I could leave a message! I fully expected that I would not get that return-call, so I decided to try one more time to reach the Billing Dept. again. To my amazement, someone answered the phone! The rep that assisted me told me she had just worked on issue and that the claim was submitted as a write-off and that it was taken care of. I did not ask for a write-off and I never said I was not going to pay what was owed, I just wanted to know however, I decided that the lack of response from them over 17 months had cost me more than $126 of my time, so I thanked them very much. The next day I received a call from the contact the hospital gave me! He apologized for the mess and tried to explain that the problems MLMS is having is due to a change in Medicare/Medicaid regulations from the Gov't (way to take ownership of an issue...) and that due to those changes back when, the number of approved Medicare/Medicaid providers for durable medical supplies dropped from 1400 to just 5, that MLMS was one of the 5, and they were simply overwhelmed. Rather than ask the question that immediately came to mind (Why didn't they seize the gold opportunity to grow their business or update their phone system.), I accepted his explanation, let him know the billing team told me the day before that they had taken care of the bill. I thanked him for calling and accepted his apology. I'm posting this very long review hoping that someone in my shoes will benefit from the egregious amount of time and hassle researching my issue. read more

This operation is bad news. As part of my rehab, a Rollator was ordered by my Ortho Doc at Penn. Rollatore are covered by Medicare. A woman, by the name of Colleen called me from Main Line Medical and informed me that Medicare won't cover the cost of the brakes and I'd have to pay an additional $50 over and above the Medicare approved amount. Now, I didn't just fall out of the sky nor was I born yesterday, so I immediately called Medicare and reported Main Line Medicare as their contract with Medicare prohibits them from charging additional fees over and above the agreed upon price. This company is slick. They've been in business a long time and know all the angles. Judging from all the previous unsatisfactory ratings, it's probably about time their unethical business practices come to a permanent ending. There are 31 other authorized Medicare Providers in the area to choose from. I have found one that accepts Medicare's payment in full. Shame on you Main Line Medical. Nice try, though. $50 for brakes??? LOL Stay away from these people! read more

The insurance company called Main Line Medical Supplies Inc and requested a refund for them and myself. This company needs help. The physical therapist ordered a bed and wheel chair. I have tried twice to have the items picked up and they keep cancelling. The patient never sat on the bed as he was rushed to the hospital before the supplies arrived. When I called and asked for some rebate credit that could be used when he returns from the hospital. They said that would not be giving us any credit. The installer didn't even know how to put the sides on the bed. He also had dirty feet and we had to have the carpets cleaned. When you call on the phone you wait up to 45+ minutes. This company doesn't care or they don't deserve the business. There are many medical supply companies but don't use this one. When needing a power wheelchair when another medical equipment supplier messed up big time, we had that company send the " records " over to main line, at first they were willing to work with us but after reviewing the paperwork it turned to " sorry we can't help you " without any explanation however on a 3 way call with medicare they said the records were too old and couldn't be used, that wasn't the idea as first laid out the records were for review purpose only, as others have written this company is shifty and not trust worthy and lie through their teeth however now medicare is aware of their actions so they will more than likely loose that awarded contract. My father, at the end of his life, had many people in and out, caretakers, nurses, physical therapists, hospice, etc. Even financial people helping us were so kind and caring in such a hard time. The ONLY people that were not kind or helpful were the people who work at Main Line Medical. We dealt with them many times and they almost always seemed annoyed, impatient, and frankly not very nice. Main Line Medical installed a Stair Glide in my Mom's home in March, 2018. She passed away April 29, 2019 and I tried over and over to reach them about removing the Stair Glide...I got no response and spoke with a human once. She said that they would call with removal date. Never called me!! Went to Upper Darby location May 16th to pin them down for removal and guess what?? The store is "Permanently Closed". No answer at either Camden or Blackwood locations either. I received a call from Main Line Medical on Thursday afternoon to confirm the delivery for Friday afternoon. On Friday at 3:30 PM I called them back because I had not received the delivery. They confirmed that the delivery driver was already on his way and would be there by 5 PM. At 5:30 PM I called back because the delivery driver still had not arrived. They had already left the office. It is now Saturday at noon I have not received a call from them nor have they delivered the devices. Going by the other reviews, this seems typical of Main Line Medical. My mother still has not received her commode nor her walker. If I could give them a zero rating I would. So I called and spoke to them on Saturday. They claim they called both numbers and knocked on the door @ 6PM. I checked both phones, no incoming calls. And since mom just got home from the hospital, we were all at the house. No one knocked. They told me that the driver was on the way... AND AGAIN LIED BECAUSE NO ONE SHOWED UP WITH THE EQUIPMENT. I called them this recent time because I had such a good experience in 2014, and they didn't disappoint. I'm not sure why they have such a poor rating on your site because my experience was excellent. This is the worst run company I have ever dealt with. I rented a transport chair for my 92 year old mother for one month, paid with a credit card. At the end of that one month, I called them to come and pick up the chair. I was told they had no record of me renting the chair. I told them that when they figure it out, to call me to schedule a pick up. That took two months. They then proceeded to charge me for those extra months, claiming they had no record of my calling them for pick up. Well no they wouldn't since they claimed they had no record of us having the chair in the first place. It became a war of he said, she said until they sent us to collection. Horrible!!! Horrible!!! They messed up the delivery of my mother's bed!! She is an invalid and had to sleep in a recliner. That is not even the worst part!!! The customer service reps played phone tag with me, sent me to voicemail, hung up on me, and then sent me into oblivion right before customer service closed for the day. The customer service reps I did talk to were completely useless, had no information on where the bed was or when it would get here, and then got rude with me because I kept asking questions!! I asked to be transferred to her manager and she hung up on me. Of course it was after they closed so I could not get her back on the phone. The rehab I went to after the surgical repair of my ankle used this company for my DME. All went well with the supplier dealing with the rehab, or so it seemed. Now that it is time to pick up the wheelchair I have been renting from them, this is when their true colors are coming out. I set up a date for them to come pick up the chair 2 times, waited all day, with no call, no show. I am forced to bring the wheelchair myself to them because I need to go back to work and there is no WAY I will give them a third try. read more

I was told at my mother's rehab that I could save money buying equipment online. It was confusing but I managed to order a commode and it came several days later with multiples of some parts and none of others. I tried to call the company but they were closed for a three-day holiday. I called Main Line Medical Supplies and they delivered a new commode and some other equipment in less than 24 hours. The delivery man could not have been friendlier or more helpful. He set everything up for us, too. They don't do that on the internet! I told him I was going to write a review to say that sometimes it's not worth saving a dollar on the internet, when you can get prompt, accurate, friendly local service. I am terribly disturb of the fact of the theft of a person on his or her last days here. But I have dealt with this company for number of years. Both Blackwood office and Upper Darby office. I am sure when the customer past, that was when the belonging of the patient was notice of being missing. How many other people was in the home prior to Main Line Medical was called to deliver a bed? Could this had happen with another company whom they replace to whom they were not satisfied with? Did a persons who live within the family has some issues with substance abuse, take these items? Which in tern found an outlet for a delivery person. Let me guess!, The person that was accused was an African American. Easy outlet for blame and a believable report to make. I have made many referrals to friends and family about Main Line Medical. I let them in my home while I was at work on several occasions. They locked my house up, and returned the key to the same locations without any theft or infractions. I understand the family is very upset of the loss of there love one, which any family members would be. My prayers goes out to your family and the authorities will get to the bottom of the issue. If you the family know that jewelry was pawned. Rented a wheelchair. Was astonished when the bill came that there were add on charges not discussed. There was a charge for antitippers for the chair which were not on the chair when delivered and verified by my home therapist. Trying to call their billing department gets voicemail. From the original order to the last pick up they never made an appointed stop time. We ordered a rental hospital bed. it came 5 days after the promised date. we also ordered a $175 gel/foam overlay which we had to purchase. it did not come the same day as the bed. By the time it came we were unable to use it because my wife was already in the bed and could not be moved. When we no longer needed the bed, I called for a pick up. They told me it would be the next morning. Morning came and went... no call... nothing. I called to see what was up. They said sorry, don't know why no one called you. look for our driver between 2 and 4pm. Around 3:30 I got a call from who I believed to be a driver or maybe a manager talking about a pick up for the next day. Well so far this company scores a big zero with me. I was set up with them thru Abington Hospital where my wife is employed. I had a lung infection.Mainline had all this equiptment set up at my home when i got there. I called them to tell them that the tanks they had in my home with the seal on them were both empty, 2 days later no call back even though i left them a number where i could be reached.So now i call the woman who set me up at Abington Hospital tell her i am unable to leave my house because of no oxygen. She has a guy named mike call me telling me hes a boss there and its hard to believe that a tank was delivered empty as they fill their own tanks and are federally regulated by the food and drug admin. and that 2 new oxygen tanks were being sent. Lol thank God for cell phones I took a pic of the Brand new tank that was delivered and that was on the first line of green. Sent it to mike no reply 4 days later. Now im calling aetna to see just what ive been billed for, as well as the director of Jefferson Hospital, to see if they know what a wonderful company they are giving business too. read more

I have called this company 8 times in the last 2 months. No one answers their phone. No one returns your voicemail messages. The only way to get through is to hit the prompt for sales. They put you through to a manager named Frank Franvo and then you get his voicemail. He does not return the call. I called back again and spoke to a sales representative. She gave me the name of the owner, Ben Hart. She put me through to his line and again I received voicemail and left a message. This company has a contract with the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. They sent me a bill for a cane. They never billed my insurance company. When they wouldn't return my calls, they continued to bill me. I finally relented and paid the bill. Now they are still billing me and including a $15 late fee. They should be paying me for all the time that I have wasted. I have now reported this to the hospital. Lets see how they deal with it. read more
