However, a senior staff member, who appeared to be the manager or owner, informed us that no larger tables were available for our group. It seemed that combining a couple of tables would have been a simple solution, but no effort was made to accommodate us. We were willing to be flexible and agreed to sit at two separate tables instead. However, when we asked to place a high chair next to one of the tables, the same staff member objected, despite the hostess appearing comfortable with the arrangement. The interaction felt unnecessarily inflexible and unwelcoming, particularly for a family dining with young children. Rather than working with us to find a reasonable solution, it felt like our presence was an inconvenience. As a result, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately that was not our experience here.
