In response to the thick headed owner down there: She keeps saying 15 minutes late when it wasn't. Again, I saw with my own eyes the vendors arriving and taking their equipment out of their truck when I was getting ready for my grand entrance a few minutes before 620. And also, you were late. This is why I couldn't take photos. I took photos of my whole venue before everyone arrived. Why is this something I need to tell you? We ask you arrive early so we CAN TAKE PHOTOS of our venue for memories. Is this your first time working for weddings because it seems like it. Oh sorry, let's just set up and not take any photos with our vendors we paid for. Stop harassing me. You guys messed up and still won't own up to it. ------ If you want a stress free wedding, GO TO A DIFFERENT VENDOR. You want to spend your time planning for different things such as how and where to pose for photography during your wedding day, NOT worrying about one of your vendors showing up almost an hour late! We had planned to have main squeeze show up at 530 to set up BEFORE our guests started getting to their seats. When we were driven back from our photo shoot out in the venue, we were told by our coordinator our boba vendor arrived 45 minutes late. Our grand entrance wasn't until 620 and we were only minutes away from it. I was extremely upset seeing the boba vendor STILL taking out their equipment from their truck at the front of the venue. Our contract stated to come before the guests arrive. I don't know about you guys, but I don't want my guests to see any of my vendors setting up while they're sitting down enjoying their dinner. I can understand traffic. It happens sometimes, no problem. My issue with this company is that nobody who arrived has told us why they were late, they didn't apologize or acknowledge us. We had to keep them outside before we did our grand entrance to avoid chaos and distraction. Well now it looks a little messy that they were setting up while my 300 guests were watching them. I contact Lynn, who is the owner, and all she can do is give excuses such as "your photographers left their equipment on the table so we couldn't do anything until they took it off," instead of WE APOLOGIZE for the inconvenience. If you had showed up ON TIME, maybe they wouldn't assume it was an empty table while the grand entrance was about to start, and MAYBE just MAYBE the equipment wasn't "holding you back from setting up." RIDICULOUS. This is her next excuse. Looking back at our conversation via emails with Lynn, we mentioned to her if she has any issue she should've contacted the phone number provided. She responded back confirming she understood our email. Her excuse was they couldn't find anybody to help them.... Is this who you want to be working with on your special day??? I don't think so! I have proof of our conversations and I saw with my own eyes the vendor arriving just a few minutes before our grand entrance. In her email to me, she is saying I am getting the times wrong when SHE WASN'T EVEN THERE. Her team was there! Pathetic! My husband and I LOVE boba. Unfortunately, they shot down the opportunity for us to take photos with the bar. I am very extremely disappointed. I will pay hundreds and hundreds more for an owner to not give me excuse after excuse. Who will OWN UP to their mistakes. Who won't RUIN my photos with that EMPTY 2 six feet long tables. As an avid boba connoisseur, I knew that for our wedding day I wanted to have a boba bar to share our love of boba to our loved ones and friends. I first discovered Main Squeeze when they were doing the OC and 626 Night Markets a few years ago and loved their lemonade combinations. As we were going through the wedding planning process, I had attended a previous wedding that had a DIY boba station which sparked my interest of having something similar for our wedding day. I had reached out to a few boba shops who offered catering, but most of them could only offer DIY services and not a full service boba bar. A full service boba bar includes attendants as well as providing any equipment and/or decorations. Main Squeeze Catering was our top choice because I had tried their drinks in the past and their prompt communication was key in deciding who we wanted to select. Their pricing was very straightforward and outlined exactly what would be offered which included 4 drinks and 3 topping options. A tasting was also included as well so we could try all the different flavor combinations! The tasting included at least 17 different drink options and 9 different toppings to choose from. It was very hard to decide which option to select from, but we chose the option that we felt would be suitable for all our guests no matter what age. We chose Almond Milk Tea, Thai Tea, Lychee Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade with the toppings of boba, pudding and lychee jelly. We also inquired if we could put our own labels on the cup which they had no concerns with and even assembled it for us a few weeks before the wedding day. Lynn was amazing to work with and efficiently answered any questions we had throughout the process. Even with postponing our wedding to 2021, Lynn was able to honor our pricing and new date without any issues. One of the most talked about things on our wedding day was the boba bar! All our wedding guests loved how tasty it was that they tried as many flavor combinations as possible including our signature selections. Many of our guests admitted that they went to the boba bar several times which we were thrilled to hear since we wanted to be sure all our guests enjoyed the drinks especially since we ordered more drinks than guests. My wife and I wanted a boba bar at our wedding and Main Squeeze nailed it. Lynn was professional and so quick to respond during booking and sorting out logistics. The tasting was so much fun and Paul was helpful and patient as we figured out what we wanted. On our wedding day, they were there on time, the boba was fantastic, and our guests' only complaint was that we didn't order more of the taro flavor. 5/5 would book again. We had main squeeze catering as our boba bar for our wedding in November 2019! Lynn was very easy to get a hold of and she made the process very smooth and easy! One thing that we found out when we did the boba tasting (so much better than wine tasting!) that we could make our own labels for the cups!! And they would label the cups for you! Which was so awesome and made our boba bar more personalized. I like the variety of flavors they offered and the many types that you can have all at once at the wedding! Versus other vendors where you could only choose 3 and if you wanted more flavors, it would've been an extra charge :( I would def recommend them, ESPECIALLY for your wedding!! My fiance and I really wanted a boba bar for our reception. After a few vendors that we weren't keen on or not sure about, I found Main Squeeze Catering on Instgram and contacted Lynn to start the conversation. She was really quick and on top of communication. What I really liked about her service was that the cups were larger than some others, we got more than 2 flavors (4 in total), and 2 toppings as well. We got to taste them at their boba shop a few months beforehand and pick our favorites. This is probably normal, but I liked that her team was able to sticker our printed names (provided by us) on the cups a week beforehand - I thought we might have to do it ourselves + they also came with their own floral decorations + signage for their setup. Lynn is one of the most organized and responsive wedding vendors we worked with, she's so on top of it! We really enjoyed our boba tasting (there were so many options) and took advantage of some backdrop / décor add-ons that Main Squeeze offers. When they didn't have certain backdrop colors that we wanted, Lynn helped refer us to other vendors who might be able to help us out. After researching, we went with Main Squeeze's wooden arch anyway because it was high quality and great value. On the day of, the boba itself was great and our only regret is that we should've ordered more because our guests devoured 200 cups incredibly fast. Lynn was incredibly accommodating and re-arranged her schedule to help make our experience perfect.
