Last time I came here, they were completely sold out, so I knew I had to come back and try it again and it definitely did not disappoint. Be prepared for a wait anywhere from 20-40 minutes, but it's honestly worth it. I ordered the 10-piece banh khot, and the portion size was huge! The banh khot was crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and had such a good savory flavor with the perfect crunch. The inside is super cute and simple, though probably better for smaller groups rather than big parties. Overall, such a good experience and absolutely worth the wait! Would definitely come again!!

I've been loving banh khot lately, and Banh Khot lady specializes in just that! They also have egg rolls and some chips and drinks, but that's about it on their menu! You order banh khots and egg rolls by the piece or as a combo box. They're nicely presented in a pizza box, so they're perfect for gatherings. For the banh khots, you can get it with shrimp only, pork only, or shrimp and pork. They are so nice and crispy! It also comes with a bag of lettuce and herbs, pickled veggies, and the tastiest fish sauce! I like that the veggies were fresh, and putting all of the ingredients together creates the perfect blend of textures and flavors! Highly recommend!

After seeing several videos about Banh Khot Lady I finally got around to trying it. Picked up that and eggrolls for the fam and everyone loved it. It was our first time trying it and it's really good. I love how it was soft but with a slight crunch, and very juicy too. The eggrolls are really good as well. Very much worth checking out!

    Addicting!!!!

3.5 but the owner 10 stars! I've had Banh khot lady on my hit list for a very long time. Somehow I stumbled upon Banh khot Vung tau first and it's hard not to compare the differences, hence the 3 rating. I'm not in HB/Westminster/FV/GG area that often. I'm usually there once a month for a pedicure. So after my pedicure my cravings always hit for Banh khot or Banh cuon or Spring rolls .If I can have all 3 at once that would be my death row meal LOL. Anywho I wanted my Vung tau, I came in an hr before closing and the owner had a sign out the door about closing an hr earlier for his daughter's birthday, which I respect wholeheartedly. I was going to go home defeated but I was like oh yea let me try Banh khot Lady ! It was only a mile and a half away. I pull up and my Lord the parking lot is a clusterf*ck. School was out so trying to pull in with the herd of teens crossing was overwhelming, somehow I got the last space right up front. It was Banh khot Wednesday so they were busy as hell!!!! The owner asked if I had a pick up order, I didn't, then he asked if I ever been there, also no. He broke it down, very straightforward menu. He had personality plus was so awesome to everyone coming in. I ordered 9 banh khots , a five piece egg roll and a bag of Chicarron. Wait wasn't too long for me but after it was for others placing their order right there. Fantastic timing on my part. I was starving so I opened the bag of chicarron and OMG CRAAAAACK!!!! I couldn't stop eating them. I had to force myself to stop so I didn't get sick. These were small crackling type pieces, not big puffed chicarron like a liquor store pork rind. I'd totally get it again! 10 stars! Got home, cracked open the Banh khot, I tried one naked without the lettuce mint cilantro fish sauce. Their Banh khot is drastically different than Vung. BKL banh khot were shrimp and pork together. The batter was thick like a mini pancake and spongy, a tad bland. I was too spoiled with Vungs banh khot, their BK are thin and crispy, like a delicious crispy shrimp crepe and lots of green onions and crack pepper sauce along with fish sauce. BKL could definitely use a pepper sauce and go heavy handed with the green onion to top. The texture just wasn't for me. Now the egg rolls! Those were damn delicious!!! Packed with protein. So good with wrapping them with the lettuce mix you're given. Dipped in fish sauce and added Sambal oelek , perfect bite! I'd easily come back for these! I'll definitely come back to BKL, for those addicting chicarrons and egg rolls and fantastic service. I'll get my BK at Vung and head over to BKL for the egg rolls LOL. Kill two birds with one stone. Don't be discouraged on trying their BKs , we all have different tastes. Texture and comparisons really weigh my judgment :)

I loved it! They are a hyped up spot for good reason. I had wanted to try Banh Knot Lady for a few years now. I would periodically see social media posts of their food and always wanted to try it. They are located in a small complex neighboring the Chase Bank. Parking is limited but there is a street parking in case you need can't find a spot. The location is small but does have indoor and outdoor low seating. The staff were really welcoming and patience. I had seen online the banh knot and egg rolls in a pizza box for catering orders. Since we never tried these we went with the 5/2 combo. 5 Banh Knot and 2 Egg rolls. We've had Banh Xeo before and these Banh Knot are bite sized mini versions. We opted for the Shrimp & Pork. The order was ready in under 10 minutes. We ate inside and these were so good. Freshly made and still hot. The flavors were tremendous. The crispness in each bite was memorable. You get a good audible crunch each time you dig in. They are served with pickled veggies, mint leaves, lettuce, and fish sauce. Enjoy them any way you like. We left happy and the whole time the staff made us feel right at home. I wouldn't mind driving here again and again to eat these. Sheesh! Next time we might just get a combo box. Please come by and try! Thanks, Banh Knot Lady! Good times! ( ^_^)b

Finally, I made the time to try this place! I used to eat homemade banh khot when I was younger, and when I saw this place on Yelp I had to save it to my bookmarks. It took me forever to finally go, but I'm glad I did. I was going to place my order online but I noticed that there was no availability for the same day (that day). So, I decided to call and was able to place an order for pickup. I ordered the 30-piece Shrimp & Pork Banh Khot. I figured that it would be enough for my girlfriend and I, and boy, it was more than enough! I arrived to the restaurant at my desired pick-up time and had no trouble finding parking in the small parking lot. I'm sure if I had to I could park in the neighborhood as well. The restaurant is small with minimal seating inside and tiny tables (literally, tiny!) outside. I approached the counter and received my order in a pizza style box. How was it? - Shrimp & Pork Banh Khot: My 30-piece order looked beautiful. Neatly arranged in the box with vegetables and fish sauce. Each banh khot was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outer edge. The fish sauce was so good, if I could order a gallon I would. I ended up using my leftover sauce for a homemade meal with rice :D. Everything tasted so good! Service was good. Both people I interacted with were very friendly. Definitely a place to try and revisit!

Love banh khot lady! Came here on a Wednesday morning and the person taking our orders was SUPER nice and awesome. I don't eat pork so got shrimp banh khot and it was absolutely delicious. The banh khot is super crispy, so flavorful, just amazing. On wednesdays they have a special where each banh khot is $1 and i think the sides are like $2? Something special like that. Either way, highly recommend this place!

She's famous for a reason! We did a quick phone order for 15 pcs banh khot with 5 eggrolls since it was only for two people. It came with the dish sauce (nuoc mam) and a bag of fresh washed lettuce and greens like cilantro etc. IYKYK. Oh man so fresh so yummy! The banh khot was everything I imagined! Definitely worth the hype!

Tried the banh khot and they have pork, shrimp , or pork & shrimp. Got 30 pieces to go and they give you fish sauce, lettuce and carrots togo. Each piece has a shrimp and pork meat. The yellow cupcake thing was crispy but soft towards the middle. I dont know how much other places cost but its about $1.55 a piece so its not bad considering theres a shrimp in each piece. Note.. apparently its pronounced caught not c*ck..

Bánh khọt is one of my favorite hidden gems of Vietnamese cuisine, and I'm always on the hunt to find new places to add to my list. When I saw Banh Knot Lady on my Yelp, I knew I had to check it out. Overall, after finally visiting, I was pretty pleased with my experience, although there were a couple of things they could improve on. AMBIANCE: This is a very no-frills, hole-in-the-wall place with small, cramped tables. There are traces of Vietnam throughout the space, with local music playing and Vietnamese snacks for sale on a counter. We opted to dine in because, as you know, bánh khọt is best when it's made fresh! FOOD: I ordered the shrimp-only bánh khọt (20 pieces), which took 20 minutes to prepare. It totaled to around $37. The bánh khọt was delicious with a thick, creamy, and crunchy egg batter. I also appreciated how plentiful and plump the shrimp was. The nước mắm was the perfect ratio of sweet and salty. Pair that with the vegetables provided, and you have the perfect Vietnamese culinary experience. One concern: I thought it was very strange that they do not have a public bathroom. As someone who loves to eat bánh khọt with lettuce wraps, I found it rather unsanitary not to be able to wash my hands before eating. They could benefit from providing hand wipes if they aren't going to have a bathroom available for customers. OVERALL: not my favorite but a solid spot to hit!

Bánh khọt sold out very fast! Bought bánh khọt nhân tôm, thịt and they're pretty good. By the time I came to pick up, they already put up a sign saying sold out bánh khọt. Very generous with veggie but wish they did the same to fish sauce. Bánh khọt tôm is very different from what I expected. Going to stick with bánh khọt tôm thịt

Amazing delicious crispy banh khot. Even more than amazing customer service! I called as soon as this place opened on Wednesday to secure 100 banh khot (50 combo, 25 shrimp only, 25 pork only) for pickup at 4pm. Tony greeted me on the phone and I could feel his smiles radiating through the cell. When we arrived Tony was happy to see us. Dude is high on happiness! It was fun to watch him work: he lifted the curtain --called into the kitchen the number of banh khot and pickup time, a sweet female voice responded and then minutes later out came boxes of hot crispy banh khot. The restaurant is the true definitions of your "hole in the wall". One table with 2 chairs in the middle, and a few stools facing the window. Outside has the two knee level tables and squat chairs, like the ones in Asia. The banh khot from this hole in the wall is bomb which makes this place the top winner of all holes in the wall! THE SAUCE- it's the best nuoc mam fish sauce to pair with banh khot! Savory and not too sweet. One of the best 'crack' sauce! We ordered a small sauce, Tony was generous and gave us the large jar. He probably knew we'd drink all of it. The banh khot was the high light of our party! They were still crispy and fresh even after hours of traffic. We didn't get a chance to take pix of the two gorgeous boxes 'cause the family gobbled them before we knew it.

Banh khot lady has one of the best banh khot!! I came on a Tuesday at opening and ordered the 5/2 combo which included 5 banh khot and 2 egg rolls. The order was ready in about 15 minutes. I was going to take it togo, but I couldn't help myself and destroyed all of it. The Banh khot was so good!! crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The veggies included were fresh, the dipping sauce was bomb. The shrimp egg rolls were also really good. I've had the banh khot many times at parties, but it definitely hits different when you eat it fresh at the restaurant. I saw that they have a special on wednesday $1 banh khot, i definitely need to come back and take advantage of that deal. Give me a 10 pc please!!

Ask the Community - Banh Khot Lady

What is the smallest amount of eggrolls and/or banh khot that can be ordered?

5 is the minimum order for either one. Banh khot is about $10.50. Eggroll is more expensive

Is Pork only still an option?

Yes, you can customize the protein to pork only, shrimp only, etc. Give them a call if you don't see that option online.

They used to have a 5-piece online. It's now only an add-on. (if i buy 20, I can add 5. No standalone order) Please bring it back?

I think the 5 pc Banh khot/ 5 pc egg roll or just 5 pc can only be ordered in person. I think you can try to call and order on the phone so you don't have to wait when ordering in person. Hope this helps.

Are the banh knots fried or baked?

I'm sure you misspelled banh kNots for kHot, but the banh khots are FRIED. 😀

I'm allergic to gluten. What are the egg rolls wrapped in? Is there soy sauce or anything with wheat used in the egg rolls, bahn khot, or nuoc mam? I really want to try these. Thank you!

I am also gluten free but neither the eggrolls or banh khot are gluten free. So sad. 😢

I have seafood allergy can you do meat only?

yeah, you can get combo, meat only or shrimp only.

Do you guys offer a vegetarian or pescatarian option?

if you eat shrimp, yes on pescatarian!

Does your bánh khot has coconut cream in the flour mix?

Hi Brandon! Yes we do use coconut cream🙏

Is the dipping sauce spicy? Is there a non-spicy version? Thanks!

It's not spicy at all. And the most amazing sauce ever. There are chilis in it, but it's not spicy because of the vinegar in it.

Do you offer a version without meat (seafood only)?

Yes! We do a loaded shrimp only banh Khot available upon request .

Can I dine in or take out only?

We offer both dine-in and takeout options. Thank you!

How much for an order of 100pcs?

What time do they open and close?

    11 am - 6 pm

Her transparency, responsiveness, attention-to-detail and professionalism consistently set her apart. Brittany was always proactive and reliable; we never had to chase for answers or run around in circles. One of the greatest advantages was her delivery of timely, updated quotes--something we deeply appreciated for effective budget management. Even before we booked the venue, Brittany walked us through detailed rain contingency plans, which proved invaluable when we encountered a once-in-a-blue-moon torrential downpour on our wedding day. As a bride coordinating family travel from across the globe--while also navigating significant challenges with an approved vendor--Brittany stepped in at critical moments and ensured the day ran smoothly from an operational standpoint. Our guests could not stop praising the outstanding, multicultural food (especially the bulgogi beef bao, dessert stations and confetti cake) and the thoughtful allergy accommodations, which were handled seamlessly. Guest experience was one of our top priorities, and Brittany's execution gave us complete confidence. On our wedding day, anything within her scope was something we never had to worry about - and the food was one of the TOP compliments received from guests. The only feedback we strongly encourage the business to consider is a thorough audit of its approved vendor list. Unfortunately, our greatest challenges stemmed from a vendor on this list. Brittany's efforts were instrumental in mitigating issues caused by this vendor that could have otherwise impacted the success of the event. Beyond this, our experience was exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for Brittany's leadership and support. They provided all the fixings: lettuce, herbs, carrots/daikon, nuoc mam/fish sauce, and chopsticks. Many of our friends and family raved about how good the banh xeo was! We had a small amount of leftovers, which they packed togo. Andy and his team were amazing! The catering price was reasonable and the food was great. Will definitely hire again in the future!

Anyway, my husband did a pickup order for me and found plenty of parking around 2 p.m. I told him to park in the back, but he didn't see my text in time and ended up parking in the front with no problem. He did confirm that the closest parking is in the back. The lady told him that only items #1 and #9 on the menu were available. She said that if you want the other flavors, you have to place an order ahead of time. However, as I mentioned, no one ever returned my calls or texts. I ordered both #1 and #9 and enjoyed #1 the most, although I didn't really taste the crab. #9 was pretty basic and mainly just shrimp. Honestly, I make more flavorful versions at home. So the sauce definitely made the egg rolls better. That said, I loved how the egg rolls stayed extra crispy even after the hour-and-a-half drive home. The lady was very nice, and she had the egg rolls ready as soon as my husband placed the order. No wait time, and the egg rolls were fresh and piping hot. There is one table there if you wanted to eat right away. The prices were nice and cheap, so I would definitely order again.

The place is located in a very small hidden spot with very few available parking. We ordered our egg rolls at the window and waited for them to be available. There's one bench outside to enjoy your treats and that's it. It's not a restaurant, more like a pick up spot. I appreciate there's a variety of different egg rolls available. We got the class Premium Pork and Large Shrimp. Both were good. Kinda wish they had their fish sauce to accompany them.

We wanted to go with the bossam (pics look so good) but our event was held after lunchtime/light bites so we opted for the taco bar, which was also amazing. Nonstop compliments from friends and family regarding the food. Presentation was just lovely too. Hard to accomplish great taste, price, authenticity, AND presentation but Chubby Fingers rocked it all. Other items ordered that I didn't get good photos of (all was v delicious): - Yuzu tomato salad (so refreshing, wish I could make this at home) - Gochujang glazed veggies - Elote - Japchae P.S. I'm just remembering how wonderful the tacos were, especially the tortilla. Corn and soft, this is NOT your typical grocery store purchase. I think they source it from a legit Latina market. That's what I mean by authenticity. For all our dishes, they got both Korean and Mexican cuisines right. Chubby Fingers brings the real deal.

Best decision for our Reception/Baby Shower! (Incredible value & taste)…read more Chubby Fingers catered our event and it was absolutely wonderful! OMG... as I'm writing this, I'm still craving the food we had that day from Chubby Fingers! After doing multiple tastings with other caterers, we chose them for their generous portions and amazing value at a very competitive price point. Why we chose them: Before choosing them, we actually met with several other caterers and even did tastings to compare our options. What really stood out about Chubby Fingers was how generous and abundant their offerings were at a very similar price point. The value honestly surprised us in the best way. The Experience (Catering Drop-off): We ended up doing a catering drop-off, and even with that setup, you could truly feel the care and thought they put into everything. The presentation was beautiful and everything was packed so nicely -- it still felt very special and intentional. The Food (The highlight of our day!): On the day of the event, the food completely exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our guests kept complimenting the food throughout the event, and several people even came up to ask where we found the caterer because they wanted the information for their own events. Our Menu Highlights: 1. Chubs Bossam: Slow-roasted caramelized pork shoulder with ssam bar (perilla leaves, lettuce, and samjang). Absolute hit! 2. Japchae: Korean sweet potato glass noodles with mushrooms and vegetables. 3. Gochujang Glazed Veggies: Roasted market vegetables with a subtle, delicious gochujang glaze. 4.Yuzu Tomato Salad: Heirloom tomatoes with greens and a refreshing yuzu vinaigrette (so fresh!). and the White Rice was included! The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day special. I'm so sad I didn't take more photos, I was so busy hosting and enjoying the event, but the presentation in person looked even better than the photos!) If you're planning an event, do yourself a favor and book Chubby Fingers--you won't regret it! I truly can't recommend them enough if you want to impress your guests!
