Perfect amount of rose without being overwhelming and really hit the spot. I also grabbed an intriguing looking blueberry lemon iced scone. Also really good though one corner of the scone had too many blueberries so I avoided that, but that's a total palate preference on my end. Would absolutely gnaw on that again. The service was excellent. Beyond receiving pretty much a dictionary definition perfect latte, the barista just let us hang out by the front window for a few hours people watching. Coffee houses SHOULD be communal spaces to just chill out in for a while, so if it had been an issue that's end game for me, but we both felt very welcomed and easily could have lingered for a while more but SOMEone (cough cough chum cough cough) needed to buy soy candles in Lafayette or something.
