I wanted to be wowed based on the other reviews I had read. Unfortunately, that experience was far…read morefrom the reality. Yes, it's a cute, creative concept architecturally, but the lighting was too dark for Sunday noontime. And the food and especially brunch fare were nothing special. Carb heavy and very few healthy options, although plenty of exotic drinks. Why not just be a bar and not try to be a coffee bar/cafe? Coffee was decent but not outstanding. Nothing but plain bagels available and my scrambled egg looked like something out of a Dr. Seuss story. Oh well, I did a taste test and found it WAS actually edible. My friend enjoyed her Korean Bowl, so that made the trip a success. The bathroom is the true test of quality in any culinary establishment. Fancy hand soap, Very clean, but no toilet paper or paper towels. I had to ask.

Delicious food. Wasn't busy the evening we were there so wait service was pretty good. The staff…read moreseemed a bit surprised that we didn't want to sit in the bar area to eat. We chose the dining room area because it was cozier and certainly quieter. The had speciality cocktails and our party of four each ordered a different one. All were very good. They don't have a big menu (which I appreciate) so what they do have is done well. I plan to return soon

Bloody Mary (regular version). They offer a "loaded" version which has a lot more toppings for 7 bucks more.

Stopped by Tea Tree Cafe today and had a great experience! I ordered an iced coffee with almond…read moremilk and vanilla, and it was perfectly balanced--just the way I like it - not overly sweet. For food, I grabbed the Ziggy Wrap with bacon and avocado. It was delicious; everything tasted sooo good, especially the oranges on the side!! The staff were super friendly and made the whole visit easy and welcoming. I loved the options of sweet and salty that they have displayed (I was tempted by everything) Definitely a solid spot - will be back!

I'm always looking for coffee shops with creative drinks, both outdoor and indoor seating, free…read moreWiFi, and that are study session friendly. Tree Town Cafe is one that I wouldn't have found if I didn't see it on a list of Rochester coffee shops. I feel like this cafe is sort of a hidden gem. I've been here twice-- once in the summer for an evening dinner on the patio, and most recently for a cozy study session in the winter. It's open decently late (for a coffee shop in Rochester) on weekdays (7pm), which is perfect for studying. They have plenty of parking in their parking lot. Their outdoor seating is placed directly in front of their building with plenty of shade, or in the grassy area next to the parking lot. It seems to be a kid-friendly cafe as well, since they have play areas. They have a cute indoor shop with food-related gifts like baked goodies, coffee, chocolate bars, and even dog treats. The service was wonderful, and they were very willing to make a call to the baker to check my allergies. There's not a lot of indoor seating, but it was enough to find a spot to study. The space heater in the small room was essential, although it got a little cool next to the glass once it started to get dark. As I mentioned, they do have free WiFi.
