    Main Street Burger Dinner

Very nice cafe to great bar food and beyond . There is a gleeful vibe here with a community of all ages . The food was great. The burgers have been voted as some of the best in Long Island . I tried a very tasty chicken dish. It tends be to crowded before the local theater presentations , I suggest checking the schedule of the shows.

Good place to grab drinks and a bite before the theater. The burgers are really good! Although it's a small place, really small, it has a nice pub vibe. The only negative is the service! The staff are supper nice but it's slow! Nothings happens quickly! They also tend to forget half of the order.

    Classic hamburger

A neighborhood pub with friendly service. The best burgers, served with hand cut French fries and a delicious bun. The pub is small with not a lot of seating. I only go during non prime hours. If you want to have the best burger def

My "medium" burger was literally raw. Not rare. Raw. It was takeout and i was 5 miles away so I couldn't send it back.

Used to be a full glass of wine.

It's been 14 years since we were last here and the place is as good as before. Main St burger was delicious, especially with great steak fries. The Pasta Primavera was equally good, although it t could use a little more garlic (personal taste.). A great array of vegetables. Very cold beers and Pinot Grigio rounded things out. Great to be back in NPT.

Very nice place! Went to this cafe with friends and had a great experience! The Turkey Club was awesome and very tasty! People have said that this place had AMAZING fries, and it turns out, they're absolutely right! The fries were so delicious! The whole meal was worth it, and this is overall a great lunch spot! Definitely recommend if you're in the Northport village area!

    Pan roasted shell steak special

Delicious specials last night and my husband had the pan roasted shell steaks with creamy brandy mushroom sauce and veggies it was yummy. Cooked perfectly. I had the Caesar salad with blackened shrimp. Always chock full with shrimp and creamy Caesar always a crowd pleaser in my eyes lol . Service always great and it was quite busy with fun people. There was a group there taking a picture in front of one of the walls with lots of pics of local people . It's a fun place

First time here for this Southie. Usually don't go to the North side of island as it tends to be a bit, well Uppity. That being said for this gem I will for sure be returning. A small and very quaint establishment. Lovely staff, delicious food why wouldn't I ‍. Really cool old art work on the walls. Wish I could of gotten some more photos. But I didn't want to intrude on the customers enjoying their meals. This is a busy town with lots of restaurants. I've been to a few that didn't wow me like this one, also worth a come back. Cheers

    Chicken Potstickers special

First things first, cool looking restaurant inside! All the pictures all over the walls has you looking all over the place. It's a small restaurant but overall and nice and clean place. We sat near the window that was overlooking town. We ordered a small appetizer which was an option on their specials board. We ordered chicken potstickers which were very flavorful and crispy. Our main entrees were the Crabcake Sandwich with potato wedges and a side of tarter sauce. The other entree was the Chubby Chicken sandwich which had melted mozzarella, bacon strips on a roll that had a garlic aioli on it. The crab cake was tender, fell apart easily with a fork, buttery and tasted delicious! My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. Our waitress was really nice and very accommodating to us! Overall we were very happy with the service here, food was great! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Great for soup and sandwich after tourists leave! I wish the washed glasses behind bar in a dishwasher.

Whether you choose to sit at the bar or grab a table, you're bound to have a great time. The drinks are extremely reasonably priced, which is always a plus. I've been here quite a few times, and every visit has been a blast. A special shoutout to Megan, our bartender, who always keeps the drinks flowing with a smile on her face. She never rushes us, even when she's closing up for the night, and her friendly service keeps us coming back. Definitely give this place a shot! you really can't go wrong!

As expected, it was a casual pub style spot with a bar and a small dining area in the back. For this Friday afternoon, it was quite busy. It was bustling with almost all the tables taken by the time we left. Our server was friendly and upbeat. She offered suggestions based on our preferences. We both ordered the same thing - burgers. They came out quickly. The burgers were big and yummy. They satisfied our craving perfectly.

I've been here on numerous occasions hoping that maybe this would finally be the visit where everything clicked. Unfortunately, it just hasn't happened. My experiences have been so-so, and more often than not they've been slightly disappointing. My biggest complaint has always been the food. My take has been it's been bland or uninspired. The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.

My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. If you're in Sea Cliff on the north shore of Long Island stop by Gallagher's for a drink and some great food. Travel safe and keep healthy. All the best to you all.
