Earlier, on a hike at Byers Lake, the guide talked about Devil's Club being used medicinally for things like mosquito bites. I asked around and some locals said that Silverbear Sundries is the place to get Devil's Club balm. Not in Talkeetna? They mail it to you! I got the Mountain Mamma Balm that does NOT have hemp in it and smells great. There are two Pokemon Go pokestops within reach of this store, so stay a while. There are two gyms around the corner, too.

I have extremely sensitive, dry skin prone to allergic reactions, bumps, and a number of other issues. Silverbear Manly Soaps has fixed most of the problems with my skin on almost all of my body, and it smells amazing, and when bought in bulk, it's a dollar cheaper to what I had been using previously, so I'm a convert! I also love their chapstick (Previous Burts Bees addict here!) DON'T PASS BY THIS TINY LITTLE SHOP LIKE I DID FOR SO MANY YEARS! THEIR stuff is GREAT!!!
