Main Street Comics & Toys is a small shop that shares it's building with a dance academy. Has some very limited parking on the side of the building, but the surrounding area has street parking. The shop makes the most of its space and is stacked from floor to ceiling. Everything is well organized, even the budget long boxes, which helps when finding items. Main Street has a good selection of budget long boxes, regular price long boxes, graphic novels, and Pop Vinyl's. Wall book and new pull comic selection was fair. This is simply one of the best small comic shops that you'll find. They make the most of what they have and it's absolutely worth a stop.

Great shop with tons of collectables, Star Wars, Godzilla, new & old comics, and tons more to explore great addition to Lee!

This place sells fake signature books and misleads customers. I will never shop here again.

I go into their shop for the 50 long boxes full of 1 dollar comic books. They also have boxes of 25 cent books. Awesome selection.

Tons of 25 cent and dollar back issues that are organized and aren't complete crap.

Their prices are pretty standard across most NYC comic shops. But, I find their service to be their hallmark. On so many occasions, staff has gone out of their where to look for a book I couldn't find, grab me something I missed while I'm checking out, and just offer a warm and positive attitude while I'm there. I think this is a solid shop and I always recommend it to people looking for comics in NYC.

Good comic selection, and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Prices on comics aren't great frankly, but…read moresadly there aren't a whole lot of comic shops close so for the most part you're stuck here. Your only other option is Midtown Comics which is much better in every way. I've been going here for years though both to get stuff and to walk around, and it's still not bad. However the workers there are very rude a lot of the time. It's kind of been like this ever since I've been there. Like they're either not that willing to be helpful or they are actually straight up rude. After years of going to this place I actually saw a figure I wanted for the first time in one of the glass cases, and decided to grab one. Unfortunately there was a little small sign on the OTHER case that said don't open. After I basically got my figure out one of the employees stopped me. I profusely apologized once I realized my mistake, and still the employee told me around five times not to open even after I stepped away and apologized many times. But still I stood there and apologized for the display (a bunch of boxes). Then he gave me what I wanted (after I already basically did it myself) and then I went to the register. I then said "sorry I've been going here for years but I never got something out of the case before so I didn't know." And then another employee (who by the way was facing the case the whole time) said "It's behind glass for a reason", as if I'm in a museum. I apologized and left. The staff has been rude and entitled before but this has been my worst experience yet. Fun to walk around in, but it's hassle actually going here.
