This ice cream creamery was delicious! When we walked in and saw how many flavors they had, we wanted to sample them all. The place is very bright with walls detailing their ice cream and flavors. I love how they have more unique flavors, and the service was attentive. I ended up getting the dairy free toasted coconut, and it was delicious. We sat by a table and enjoyed our meal. I love how affordable it is for the amount you get, and will definitely come back.
Great ice cream! I had the small strawberry cup, big chunks of real strawberry and very creamy. Lost a star for pricing ($6 for a small) and the outside tables were really dirty.
I have been visiting different ice cream shops all summer and Main Street Creamery might be my favorite so far! The employees were very friendly and we got to sample a few flavors before deciding on what to get. I ordered their banana cream pie ice cream plus the toasted marshmallow meringue topping. Such a unique combination that worked so well together - I absolutely loved it! One of my family members cannot have dairy and got their peanut butter & cookies ice cream. She loved it and we were happy to find a fun flavor that was dairy free. This is my must stop if you need some ice cream in your life!
First, walking in to this place you are transported to a time where the 50's meets modern day. I love it. It's pristine. So clean, organized, & that delicious smell of ice cream. I really wish there was one in Vegas! & quite frankly, Vegas needs one that also caters to non-vegans. They have several dairy free/vegan options, which is wonderful. I'm not playing around when I say that this is the best ice cream I've ever had! I could not believe how incredible this was. We walked in close to closing & politely asked if we were still ok to get something. We were met with the friendliest & kindness smile, & was told "of course. You have plenty of time (5 mins to close)!" We sat down to eat & it was spectacular! If I wasn't so full from dinner I would have taken some to go! lol. Thanks Team Main Street Creamery!
Gyatt dam ts was great, however a fucking scam. I was gladly devouring my mint chip ass cream however it did taste like tubbed ass cream. That's on me though because who orders mint chip ass cream when you're at a creamery. My fucking fault. As my teeth travel through the ass cream and reach the end of the cone I sense a feeling of abandonment when I realize I have been scammed. Yes you've heard it here first. I have been scammed. At the end of the cone there is no ass cream. Just solitude air trapped in the promise of two scoops. The service was fine as I was greeted with a sense of kindness by this man's smile. The ambiance was delightful with the sense of homage cow utters blasting their milky directly into the ass cream. Without the lack of ass cream this would have been rated higher.
While vacationing in the most awesome place in Florida, Sarasota, Bradenton, but just walking , rolled up on this gem. Good old fashioned ice cream, waffle cone, carmel sunday with 4 different nut to choose from... The old fashioned ice cream maker, just like mom use to have. Nice spot.for old fashioned ice cream. Would like to first thank this establishment for offering various dairy free options! Sometimes, that's challenging to find depending on where you are in the U.S. Came here and it was busy but the line was well managed and in no time, I was able to order dairy free coconut icecream on a waffle cone. It's a cute spot offering seats inside and outside. Now, I will say that unless you're sharing 2 scoops of icecream, do not order that. It's a whole meal lol The ice cream was a great blend of creamy, not too sweet, and good amount of toasted coconut (have tried this flavor at other places and it's overpowering). The waffle cone alone is amazing! Has my stamp of approval!

My husband and I stumbled upon this ice cream shop while exploring downtown Sarasota. The space was so cute with an ice cream parlor vibe. I loved the white chocolate raspberry flavor. We came back a second time during our trip and did the ice cream flight. I learned they are Yoder's Southern Ice Cream. I wish I could it get closer to home!
If I could, I would eat this ice cream every day. It's the best. The service is always great. They wait on you the minute you walk in the door. It's bright and clean.

What a great find. Seating inside at table and chairs or at the bar in the window as well as tables outside! Dairy free options available and not just plain vanilla and chocolate flavors! Any ice cream can be made into soft serve. Flavors are amazing! I had Cookie Crunch with Biscoff cookies! Delicious!!!!! The place is light, airy and the owners (?) were pleasant and accommodating. My husband ordered the peanut butter malted milkshake and the owner suggested how he liked it extra peanut and made it for my husband at no extra charge! Free samples!!! We will definitely stop back when in town again!!! read more

Horrible service and would never go back. Asked about a kid scoop since she said a small was two scoops. Was told sure they can do one scoop. After ordering and getting one scoop was told well you still pay the same price for the one as the two scoop. This was a shop that served locally made flavors. The fascinating detail about this was that any flavor could be churned into a soft serve when ordering. They had lots of flavors, and the service was appreciated. I had a small cup of Key Lime Pie and spumoni. It was a generous cup for a small. Both flavors were very fulfilling. I preferred the spumoni as I enjoyed the combination of flavors. The Key Lime Pie could have contained a little more of the pie crust flavoring. I also tried the brown sugar cinnamon and chocolate brownie with a marshmallow meringue. The brown sugar cinnamon was my favorite flavor. It was a great blend of brown sugar and cinnamon. It was superb. The chocolate brownie was good too, but I did not like the marshmallow meringue as it was a little overpowerful with the ice cream. Will I go back? I would. read more

Favorite ice cream spot in Sarasota. Feel like you are transported back into the 1950s with classic ice-cream parlor themes. Pros - amazing selection of flavors with good portions and toppings. Very bright and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Super quick service even though they are always packed with customers. Cons - none! Definitely a great place for ice cream after a day at the beach or a post dinner snack. We come here every week for ice cream. read more

Bright and clean. Staff is very welcoming. All types of flavors. Today we were trying specifically the Affogato. A scoop of vanilla ice cream with a shot of expresso. I wasn't sure about this because I love my hot coffee. I got to say I was pleasantly surprised. The combination is delicious hitting the sweet and coffee craving all at once. read more

Such a cute little spot. Centrally located with soooo many options to accommodate dietary restrictions. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions. The Ice cream was delishhh. We each got a kid size cup with two flavors a that was more than enough. The toasted coconut was my favorite! I wish we lived closer but if you're in town, is worth stopping by. read more

Bottom Line: Delicious ice cream, lovely décor and friendly employees. I love this new-ish ice cream shop that opened on Main Street. For starters, the décor is super cute and plays homage to the historic building (late 1920s, I think) in which it is located. Main Street Creamery offers locally made ice cream from Yoder's Southern Dairy. Yoder's Southern Dairy ice cream is made in Sarasota in small batches and its incredibly creamy, dense and flavorful. My husband has his usual chocolate cone but I went for a small cup with birthday cake and brownie caramel. I like that I was able to try two different flavors in a small cup. In addition to doing typical scoops and cones they also offer milk shakes and sundaes. Also, they had a machine that turns ice cream more into a soft serve consistency which I've never seen before. The employees were friendly and helpful. I loved the cute and historically inspired décor. Overall, this was a home run and if my hotel room had a freezer I would have surely grabbed a pint from the freezer on the way out! read more

We visited this incredibly cute ice cream shop yesterday after a day at the beach. I decided to go on their website first to get a clear picture of the 33 flavors we had to choose from just in case it was crowed inside and we had to be quick LOL. When we arrived, there was only one other person inside and the first thing you smelled was the sugary goodness of the waffle cones I ended up getting a "small" waffle cone with 2 flavors: Brownie caramel and cookie butter crisp, which tasted like the cookies from the Delta flights. If you know you know! The homemade flavors were rich and creamy and probably the BEST ice cream I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors! This is such a cute ice cream place! It's very clean and cute inside. I had the Affogato made with vanilla ice cream. It was really good- like coffee ice cream. And it came with a cute glass that we got to take home. They were really nice and accommodating. We would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area! read more
