For starters, the décor is super cute and plays homage to the historic building (late 1920s, I think) in which it is located. Main Street Creamery offers locally made ice cream from Yoder's Southern Dairy. Yoder's Southern Dairy ice cream is made in Sarasota in small batches and its incredibly creamy, dense and flavorful. My husband has his usual chocolate cone but I went for a small cup with birthday cake and brownie caramel. I like that I was able to try two different flavors in a small cup. In addition to doing typical scoops and cones they also offer milk shakes and sundaes. Also, they had a machine that turns ice cream more into a soft serve consistency which I've never seen before. The employees were friendly and helpful. I loved the cute and historically inspired décor. Overall, this was a home run and if my hotel room had a freezer I would have surely grabbed a pint from the freezer on the way out! read more

I decided to go on their website first to get a clear picture of the 33 flavors we had to choose from just in case it was crowed inside and we had to be quick LOL. When we arrived, there was only one other person inside and the first thing you smelled was the sugary goodness of the waffle cones I ended up getting a "small" waffle cone with 2 flavors: Brownie caramel and cookie butter crisp, which tasted like the cookies from the Delta flights.
